OK, Tom...how did it manifest into reality? See, this is something that I think is very important for people to understand...that reality is a perception to most people...and that if one's perception says things are one way, then that is reality to that one...but it may not be reality to others. See where I'm going?

Here's me...a lemming...jumping in on a popular fad of a thread...I...just...can't...help...myself... Well, there you have it...this thread is evil. ;)--> OK, seriously... I have cast many spells throughout my life. Guess what? None of it is real. If a spell ever did 'work', it was 'working' in the mind of the target. Which is something the bible talks about...not being offended and all...

Um...haven't you received emails from twi biggies? Simple equation if you ask me. ;)--> LOL

So they really think we will just "get over it"..
CoolWaters replied to Ham's topic in About The Way
Ham, Anger is one of the stages of grief...and one of the things twi vehemently denied/denies people to express. "Be angry and sin not." Read Harve Platig's letter to JPW...and recognize the root of some of the 'advice' you're being given. -

You did nothing of the sort...and nothing even close. What you did was put yourself in a place of judgement...and pointed not to Christ, but to a bottle of medicine. Wanna try again? -
TYVM, Oak. It took a couple of hours to get it all out in a sane manner. ;)--> LMAO!

Unconventional Marriage-- at least according to The Way
CoolWaters replied to Catcup's topic in About The Way
Catcup, I LOVE what you say about your marriage! Realizing that a husband and wife do not have to think, feel, believe or anything else exactly alike is a freedom I now cherish. It is also an attitude that, once adopted, is saving my sanity...as well as my marriage. I would LOVE to read this thread without the twi-like lashing out, finger pointing, a$$ reaming, condescension...etc... Ya know? -
Unconventional Marriage-- at least according to The Way
CoolWaters replied to Catcup's topic in About The Way
A question... Besides ex-twi folks, is there anybody else in the whole known universe that uses this word in every day language? Or two... Did twi even get this word right... prom·ul·gate ( P ) Pronunciation Key (prml-gt, pr-mlgt) tr.v. prom·ul·gat·ed, prom·ul·gat·ing, prom·ul·gates 1.To make known (a decree, for example) by public declaration; announce officially. See Synonyms at announce. 2.To put (a law) into effect by formal public announcement. promulgate Main Entry: come out Part of Speech: verb 1 Definition: inform Synonyms: appear, be announced, be disclosed, be divulged, be exposed, be issued, be promulgated, be published, be released, be reported, be revealed, break, debut, get out, leak, out, transpire Antonyms: conceal, hide, keep quiet ...? -

This is a very difficult site to manage for many reasons: It's a site primarily for ex-twi folks. Ex-twi folks have had it up to here with heavy-handed control. Anything that feels similar at all (like deleting posts/threads) pushes buttons. The legal issues alone are enough to keep several moderators worn out. It's well known that twi watches this site. Names, details, implications, and such must be constantly moderated. Privacy is of utmost importance. Not only because twi watches this site and puts pressure on innie family/friends of posters, but also for things like personal safety, jobs, and just plain respect and sensitivity. The traffic here is mind-boggling when one considers that this site is owned and operated by volunteers. The owner of the site cares as much as he possibly can about people's hearts. This makes everything more difficult. We must be allowed to work things out, but we also must be able to feel comfortable that we're not going to face twi-like harshness, bitterness, ridicule, shame, etc. These are just some of the things that have to be considered when operating this site. I have owned and operated a couple of message boards in my day. I didn't know what I was doing. Ex-twi (myself included) and innie twi folks trashed everybody they could on those boards. One board (an EZBoard) was closed down by EZBoard (my own fault). Others I voluntarily shut down either because things got so bad on other participants or because I just didn't want to do the job any longer. I've participated on ex-twi message boards from trance.chat to WayDale and through both incarnations of GSC. I've been banned. I've been unbanned. I've had posts moderated or removed. I've had whole threads moderated or removed. I didn't like it. It's no fun. Even though most of the time it was done because I was a bad girl, I still felt like I was back in twi or something. It still doesn't feel good. But I got over it...and I do get over it...because at the end of the day it's not anybody on these boards that's putting their arms around me and saying goodnight. Ya know?

All twi's 'studying'...and nothing left but shame
CoolWaters replied to CoolWaters's topic in About The Way
That's a qualifying phrase, folks. -
For all of twi's 'studying', for all of twi's 'ever learning', for all of twi's elitism, the most prevelant end state of people who follow twi is shame.

Belle, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting those emails. Right now I am trying to help my husband undo twi 'logic' so that we can move ahead with financial stability...and now that I've seen these emails from your father, we can also move ahead with financial gain. These emails are priceless for a juxtapositional presentation of twi 'logic' vs sound, professional financial advice. THANK YOU!!!!! PS--Last evening was our church's First Friday Fellowship evening. It was all about how God provides when there is no other option. During one of the prayer times financial hardships and decisions were the subject. This kind of knowledge and wisdom was exactly my prayer request. :)-->

What is the best way to lose weight (and quickest)?
CoolWaters replied to waterbuffalo's topic in Open
Well, for just a quick fix for getting into an outfit, I recommend this soup. I used it for quite awhile when I was getting back into dieting. Now I use it to jump-start myself back into better eating habits...or to get into something that's a tad too tight...or just to eat on a weekend when I don't want to heat up the house. For long-term weight loss, I recommend seeing your physician...because losing weight is a very specific chore for each individual's body. -
How far have I come. And I don't know how good it really is..
CoolWaters replied to Ham's topic in Open
I hear ya, Ham! Been spending the better part of the last two months shedding myself of such folks. I, too, wonder if it's 'good' or what...but not enough to go back and re-invite them into my life...ya know? mj, speaking of jobs... I need to re-enter the work force and carry my fair share. It's not easy, though...been out of the work scene for over 3 years. Anyway, I went on an interview yesterday...the job was mine for the taking...but the people were very dishonest. It wasn't the job they advertised. It wasn't the hours or pay they advertised. The 'product' was shoddy. The 'services' were nearly non-existent. I told the folks that I'd take the job if they would consider me when a better position opened up. They said they couldn't promise me that. I told them, "Well, then I'd be wasting my precious time here." They blinked at me a few times. When I just stared back at them they got nasty. "Don't you want to work for a living?" Well, um, yes. "Are you too good for this kind of work?" Well, um, over-qualified for sure. "Do you think you deserve better than others?" Well, um, not necessarily better than others, but certainly better than what you're offering and doing right now. "Are you going to take our offer or not?" Well, um, NO. All I could think throughout the whole interview was, "This is how I got started in twi...overlooking the obvious, being desperate, and being made to feel guilty for using my brain." I was so ashamed of myself that I cried all the way to my car. Then my hubs said, "Vic, you don't need this and neither do I. We'll make due until you find the right place for you. There's no reason to work someplace is guilt-tripping you and has you crying before you even start." -
GSGems worthy!!! (Which is where I just posted it.) :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D-->

TWI is evil. If you don't believe that, read this thread and realize that twi has bullied much of Christendom with a copyright on the very words Jesus used to describe himself. Wreaks of the spirit of antichrist...

Oh, hey there TWI...I'm back with another search result...and this one should keep y'all busy, busy, busy... Do a Yahoo! search for "The Way International" (with quote marks) and you'll get about 31,900 results. If you do it without the quote marks, you'll get about 132,000,000 results. Yep...your world is small...very small indeed.

I'm a big fan of Dr Phil (as I should be...we graduated from the same high school! ;)--> ). One of the things he does concerning marriage is first and foremost state that everything can be worked out if people want to work it all out. He also puts forth deal breakers. Abuse of any kind is a deal breaker. These deal breakers, however, don't have to be marriage breakers. If there is abuse, he calls for separation. That's for the purpose of working things out without the insanity of abuse going on. Even the bible allows for separation. Divorce is a whole new ball game. One that should be considered only after all else has failed, imo...and that 'all else' needs be quite exhaustive...imo. Please don't feel cramped...I don't think that was the point...at least not on my part. Good conversation gets rough...but that's the beauty of being grown up and free to think and feel how we think and feel...imo. :)--> Oh...PS... Divorce is hell on everybody involved...even those peripherally involved...like posters on message boards...
