  1. Jayhawk Hookers. Nice. Very nice. Classy even. Now how would I deal with the calls we'd get? KU fans would have a huge hissy fit! ;)-->
  2. Ham, you crack me up! Are you married? Hehehehe ;)-->
  3. Sigh. 1-2-3 Towing doesn't go over very well in the 3D world. Folks just turn up their noses. Well, at least we found out before we printed. LOL
  4. rascal, Don't you EVER stop caring this much! Don't you EVER AGAIN hold any shame or guilt over caring this much! Don't you EVER listen to those who would prefer you shut up! Surely you can imagine what it was like being in twi and trying to get the attention of 'leer'derdhip...and I wrote to every single limb leader in this country...to put a stop to such things... And do you know what? It was 2 years after we left Alaska before Rich was convicted. But I didn't shut up. I didn't back down when a twig leerder sat all night out in front of our apartment building with a gun in his lap. I didn't stop telling anybody and everybody when everybody was pointing at my pregnant belly saying, "You bear a Son of Satan!" or "You whited wall! Outside you're clean, but inside you bear death!" And although terrified the whole time, I didn't shut up when Rich 'prophesied' that if I didn't leave my husband, I'd be dead in 6 months. The doctrines and commandments of twi and its loyalists are not to be followed at any cost! And those who would prefer you to shut up or 'get over it' are following the doctrines and commandments of twi. Just one more thing... If you shut up...if any of us shut up...and these threads get buried... What about the parent who comes along not suspecting a thing at all and thinking their child/children have 'spiritual problems' because of their nightmares and/or acting out behavior? What then if you or I or any of us shut up? You go girl!!!!! Rock on!!!!!!
  5. Everybody's ideas are so terrific! We were all excited about "Ride On Towing" (thank you, herbiejuan!)...then we tried it out on some folks. Everybody thought we were saying "Right On Towing"...which would have been OK because we were hoping for that connection in people's minds...then I realized that if people see the name and not the number, or hear somebody talk about us, or just hear our name somewhere, and want to look us up in the phone book some day...well, they'd probably try finding "Right On" instead of "Ride On". :(--> Sigh. That was sooooooooooo us and said it all! We tried on all the others, too...and what we liked, others didn't...and what others liked, we felt uncomfortable with. (Happy Hooker was the fave of everybody we tried it with...but, alas, my hubs just couldn't let it happen...said it was too much of a cop catcher.) So we ended up back at square one. :(--> In exasperation my son came up with 123 Towing and Service...and I put it on an image: Well? Sigh
  6. rascal has got to be the most miraculous pillar of salt ever known to man! He/she reads, writes, thinks, raises children, breathes, eats and does all sorts of animated things. Can I have your autograph, rascal? :)--> ************************ Allan...OM... Why are you here instead of at fellowship?
  7. Tampons have wings these days? Why? Oh...never mind...I think I get it now...hehehehe. ;)-->
  8. Awwww Johnny! I must be a whole lot like yer wife...'cause ever since my hubs got this tow truck...woo hoo! Am I ever enjoying that 'specific pleasure'. ;)--> LMAO!!!!
  9. Zixar first posted "Happy Hooker"...sorry Johnny...and the rest of you hooker happy 'gentlemen'...hehehe. Now I exclude White Dove from the possibility of being in with you other 'gentlemen'...because I know White Dove just wants to see me get busted for hooking... Hehehehe. ;)-->
  10. Digger, I'm sorry for everything that has befallen you because of twi. It's no fun, it's terrible, it's painful, it's sorrowful.
  11. If you're still in...or not...and you think that many of us "left bitter and 'twisted'" or "left and 'dissed' God and His Word", then you are seeing the effects of being in twi... You see, these things are 'fruit' of the twi spirit. bitterBitterness is symbolical of affliction, misery, and servitude (Ex. 1:14; Ruth 1:20; Jer. 9:15). The Chaldeans are called the "bitter and hasty nation" (Hab. 1:6). The "gall of bitterness" expresses a state of great wickedness (Acts 8:23). A "root of bitterness" is a wicked person or a dangerous sin (Heb. 12:15). The Passover was to be eaten with "bitter herbs" (Ex. 12:8; Num. 9:11). The kind of herbs so designated is not known. Probably they were any bitter herbs obtainable at the place and time when the Passover was celebrated. They represented the severity of the servitude under which the people groaned; and have been regarded also as typical of the sufferings of Christ. twistedTo alter the normal aspect of; contort: twist one's mouth into a wry smile. To alter or distort the intended meaning of: The cross-examiner twisted the words of the witness. See Synonyms at distort. To alter or distort the mental, moral, or emotional character of: The trauma twisted the child's outlook. Idioms: leave to twist/leave twisting in the wind To abandon (someone) to a bad situation, often as a recipient of blame: “If our envoy was so blameless, why had she been left to twist in the wind?” (William Safire). twist (someone's) arm Slang To coerce by or as if by physical force: If you twist my arm, I'll stay for a second beer. disTo show disrespect to, often by insult or criticism. (All above definitions taken from Dictionary.com.) The longer one was in twi, the longer it takes to get twi out of one's mind. BUT... There is hope! Pert near everybody here is an example of the hope that twi will finally begin to leave one's brain. This forum documents the process, though, so it won't always be 'pretty'... Because twi brain is a stinky, acerbic (bitter), metastasizing cancer of the brain waves... And cutting it out isn't always fine surgery...and rarely is done under anesthesia...so the pain is often excruciatingly unbearable...and sometimes one just has to vomit it all out. But, dammit, it's getting out! And life without twi cancer is a good life indeed!
  12. OMG!!!! Can't let those feelers get hurt! I mean, seriously, what in the world would you all do without your feelers? :D--> Well, getting the sperm can now be a 'no contact' sport... Lawn work? You all do lawn work? How often does that happen?!? I will admit, however, to needing a man for pure pleasure of a specific sort... :D-->
  13. krys, I would have to know what programs everybody is using for the images...and then know how to use each program. I know how to use a whole lot of them...but not all of them. Let me know what program you use and, if I know it, I will post a tutorial for it. :D-->
  14. Me and most of the women I know want a car that is just like us: efficient, powerful, clean, easy to care for, beautiful...and doesn't need no stinkin' man! ;)--> :D-->
  15. It's the 13th....anybody home? (I know it's very early in AK...so I'll just post this and wait. :D--> )
  16. You all are terrific! The guys are busy right now (sewer work...yuck!), but they're excited to look at these suggestions. TYVM everybody...and keep them coming! :D-->
  17. I just sent you a second email with the pic taken off of the background. See if that will fit now...because I didn't have to resize any of my smaller/bigger images.
  18. krys, I've resized one of the pics for you but my domain control panel is down right now...so I can't get it to the web for you to copy. I'm emailing it to you as both an attachment and in the body of the email. If you, or anybody else, ever need anything done with a pic/image feel free to call on me (my email is in my profile...and I usually respond to PTs).
  19. This is all well and good, but... Why'd ya have to put that "Sick 40 y.o. old wife...28 y.o. model g.f." stuff in, huh???? ;)-->
  20. We have gone into the towing business...and we can't think of a name for the business! So I says to my husband, "I know a group of very creative folks who love to do this kind of stuff." He says to me, "Oh yeah? Who's that?" I says back to him, "Well, it's the GreaseSpot folks." He says, "OK! It will at least be worth a laugh." We're just a little outfit...one truck...and we want the name to express that we're affordable, reliable and available 24/7...but Reliable Towing, Affordable Towing and 24/7 Towing are all taken by other outfits. I thought of Tow U Now...we liked it...for a couple of days. I also thought of The Pick 'Em Up Truck...but my husband thought it was too girly and childish...and too much to say/remember. He thought about using his and our son's initials...but what are you going to do with B and M that is in good taste? LOL He doesn't want to use any of our actual names...he's just way too much like Dharma's dad on Dharma and Greg...you know...don't alert 'the man', man... --> He did suggest Snatch Towing...but...well...funny but tasteless...ya know? Tee hee. So here I am. Remember that it would be nice if the name could project reliability, affordability and accessibility...as well as being something catchy that folks will remember...AND something that I can easily work into a logo that will fit on the doors of the truck. (Not picky at all...am I? LOL) Thanks ahead for any and all suggestions! :)-->

    Upgrading

Suggestion: Is there any way to make it so new people can be invited to current PTs?
  22. These two statements encapsulate exactly the problem with twi: it was all about twi...not about God at all. No love can be had or can abide in such a thing. So anybody who 'felt love' in twi was feeling the favor of twi...not God's love at all... Couldn't have possibly felt God's love... TWI did not/does not serve God. The bible says so... For twi's 'fruit' is not fruit at all, but works of the flesh... And the bible says "by their fruit you will know them".
  23. Thank you, {{{{{Everybody}}}}}. Sometimes I still hear...and continue to believe...those twi voices in my head that told me my life is $hi+. Then I blame myself for everything.
  24. TY Raf. It's been a chill pill day for me. I'm sorry I spewed it all over the place here.
  25. {{{{{Bob}}}}} You had no way of knowing that I'd react like that...heck, I didn't even know I'd react like that! I'm sorry for coming off accusatory. I didn't mean it that way. I'm sorry. I don't know that Rich was ever on staff. I don't know that he was actually at HQ...I just heard that in the rumor mill. I do know beyond the shadow of a doubt, however, that, according to the then LC of Alaska, "the Way is taking care of [his wife] and all of his financial needs until he can return home and take care of them himself". That conversation was in 1993. Rich was convicted in 1988 (according to the site you linked). And, btw, I did email the Alaska Dept of Public Safety. **************** {{{{{rascal}}}}} I always feel like there's somebody on my side whenever I see you around. TYVM for that! TYVM for understanding, too. **************** {{{{{Ham}}}}} TYVM. I really had no clue I'd get that upset.
