I remember the WOWs in Huntsville in 1975-76, and there wasn 't any by that name for sure. Tonto, were you in Huntsville in TWI during that year? PM me if you were. :)--> -
Mr. President! Mr. President! Was it you who played Curious George in Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat?

It's in the 'polite' decaffinated politics section. The Topically Correct Police have been active lately.

... Ie., in short, a 'godly' form of segregation, as it were. --> That's OK. Speaking for myself, I'm not into getting onto that bandwagon or signing that 'green card', thank you very much. I like hanging out with a wider variety of REAL people. Besides, goats have never hurt any sheep. Neither has any form of honest criticism and demand for proof ever hurt anyone who is in an honest search of the truth. Hell, those two groups of people are but one and the same! On the contrary, it has been those (usually in positions of power and leadership) who squelched any and all dissent and doubt who enslaved 'the sheep', as it were. Besides, we are more than sheep. So much more.

And in what part of this long and contentious thread did anybody specifically ask/request David to not express his opinion? *As opposed to asking him to either put up (the proof) or shut up (avoid stating baseless claims)*. And no Virginia, they are NOT the same. It's like if someone told me to 'stop lying' as opposed to 'stop speaking your point of view'. See? And really, if this is what you can show to be 'uncivilized piling on' of poor ol' David, I can show you message baords that can *really* have you wet your pants in this context.

Boy, if it *were* atheism vs. Christianity, _then_ there would be reason enough for the torches and pitchforks, I imagine. --> --> Anyhoo, carry on. Sorry for the 'choo-choo' (as Steve! once put the term for a derail).

And Tom Flooze--err Cruise sez that he 'cared about her and her career'. Yah! Right! :P--> Gee, Tommy, is that the thetans talking, or are you having your own form of PMS?

Did Paul have a sister named Sue? -
Ahhh yes. Its the old "Well, it coulda been *worse*" fallacy. --> The very act of killing the 3 year old and her mother for the actions of the father is in and of itself barbaric. Period! Of course there were worse things that were done by the Isrealites. That is beside the point. Oh by the way, since at that time the OT Law was in effect, didn't one of those laws deal with the child shall not pay for his/her father's sin? Why wasn't that enforced just as rigidly, hmmmm? Oh and this "Well don't you show mercy and patience with your own kids?" whitewash just doesn't wash, as none of us would even *think* of killing any of our own children for disobedience. Ie., we regard ourselves as smarter and more moral than that. Now, ... if you want to interpret that as 'being smarter than God', well, ... I guess it depends if your deity approves of killing children for no better reason than 'being disobedient'. Or is that supposed to be at a higher level of 'spiritual understanding'? --> P.S,. Oh this little jewel is just great! Progress. Since the Old Testament! Now this is coming from the same guy who rants about us lowly humans claiming that we are 'smarter than God'?? Yet he views today, in this country, as 'progress' in human rights, (made by the selfsame lowly humans no doubt, and in direct contradiction to the aforementioned OT Laws) ie., a better and smarter situation, since the OT period, a period of Isreal's history supposedly inspired by God? --> I love this place!

Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) there's gonna be a federal judge that'll throw out any and all copyright claims that TWI might try to enforce on the phrase "The Way Ministry". I mean the phrase itself is so generic. Generic enough that there must be at *least* a dozen ministries/organizations/churches using that or any part of the phrase. Even "The Way International", while being more specific in detail and recognition, can pose a bit of a challenge to TWI attorneys. Also look at their location: Honduras in Central America; ie., in an setting that is outside of this country, and its copyright laws (especially if Honduras is not a signatory of these selfsame laws). Which is gonna make it all that much harder for a lawsuit like this to go through. But watch TWI go for it anyway, lose the case, and wind up having all that abundant sharing money go down the drain. -->

Man, if they ever make coffee an illegal drug, unlawful to own or sell, ....... I'd be the biggest pusher this side of the Mississippi. "Psssstt! Hey kid! C'mere. ... Want some Folger's man? Got some really good *stuff* here, man. Straight from Columbia!"

Yeah? Well, speaking as one who used to live there, Alabama doesn't have to be Florida. Some of the stories coming from that state I could tell you should put that comparison to rest. :P-->

Thank you for removing yours.

"... white women in persistant vegetative state." Whooo hoooo! Looks like Ann Coulter still has media coverage! :D-->

Do tell? Wasn't it the psychiatric sciences (such as they are in any event) that did away with the blind rendering of mental illness as demon possession? (Yeah! Yeah! I know that there are some here who still hang on to that old chestnut. There are those who still question that the earth is round too. -->) Psychiatry is indeed a somewhat controversial field, and it has its share of quacks and half-baked theorists (mind control being but one IMHO), ... but this wholesale rendering of the whole field of psychiatry as being a sham? Nahh, I think not. And let's keep in mind that question that wasn't asked of Tom 'Snot Gun' Cruise: (camera focuses in on Tom and the interviewer) "Sir, from whence did you get your 'research' sources from? From some 3rd rate, flunky sci-fi author who couldn't sell his 3rd rate fiction, so he made a religion out of his 'thetans' to make more dough?" "You're a jerk!! ... a jerk, y'know! You're just a JERK!!!!!" "Mr. Cruise, Please! Settle down!! Please! .... Take some medic--PUT THAT CHAIR DOWN!!! AAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!....." (camera blanks out to a Stress-Free medication commercial) :D-->

From what I've heard about him, he's out. Dana was part of Way Builders during the 80's, and he left around the Big Loyalty Oath bruhaha (I think), or thereabouts. Debbie, first off, no need to apologize for anything, as you were trying to help people and make a positive impression on their lives regardless of the garbage that was going on during those days and afterward. :)--> Have you heard from/about any of the other W.O.W.s who were in Huntsville with you? Kevin? Susan Knopf? (I know she married Jim Cahoun later) Barbara Cutrone? Bruce Coleman? Any of the others? My inquiring mind wants to know! :D-->

A couple of real beauts here follow: and ((Shaking my head)) Now just stop and think about the contradictions here. Just stop and think. Tommy boy really 'BELIEVES this stuff', yet he's 'properly manipulated and conditioned' (). ... in other words, 'mind control', right? He believes in it, and is arrogant about it. It's the same thing that Jerry Falwell does when he runs off at the mouth about his garbage too. ... I wonder if he's been 'properly manipulated and conditioned'? --> And no doubt he most likely believes that mentally ill people are 'possessed with demons' or some similar doctrine, thus putting him at odds with the psychiatric community as well. What would Ted Patrick/Rick Ross charge to do Tom Cruise? ..... Ohhhh, probably enough to pay for the multi-million lawsuit that shall surely follow, and the costs that'll cover their time in prison, I imagine. I wonder if any of his family members would be *insane* enough to pay that amount?
-
And you all know the proof that Tom Fluzey--err Cruise had to give the lowly interviewer (who I almost wished had a water microphone of his own to use :D-->)? (Trying to picture Tom seriously reading and understanding research papers, is like trying to imagine VPW working for and getting a REAL doctorate. ) That was all the proof that we need, folks. Thus hath the High and Mighty Word of Tom Lose--ahh Cruise been spoken. :P--> -->

Actually, nowadays its the oil speculators that determine the price for oil, instead of OPEC and Co. Even when OPEC is cranking out more oil with the goal of influencing the price downward, the oil speculators don't pay that much attention to them anymore. :(-->

Now why must something like this have some sort of 'prophetic' significance?

OK!

I speak from learning and experience, mainly from the field of web design. W-a-y-y back in the ancient days of the web (ohh, about 1993-94 :D-->) it didn't take long before people grew tired of sounds that played on the web pages. Sounds that ran again and again. With no way to turn them down or off. And so it became one of the first Holy Cardinal Rules of Web Design (on pains of an unruly mob rioting just outside your door): Do I hear an "Amen!" from the congregation?

Trefor, Try telling that to a judge who has nothing else to go on except a verbal contract. Apparently the good Mr. Goldwyn has undoubtedly lost quite a few court cases regarding verbal contracts, ya think? ;)--> When all is said and done, even with the circus angle that many in the media put upon it, the preponderance of the evidence is quite clear: the situation was irreversible and, despite what self-righteous, moral pronouncements we all would like to haughtily heap upon that dasterdly Micheal Servito (and even including whatever desperate and totally unfounded innuendoes of physical abuse by him to add to his supposed 'wickedness' -->), he was still legally the one to carry out Terri's wishes, ... NOT her parents. (Sorry Vickles) And you can't logically tell us that no consideration was given to doubt in the courts, not when it has gone thru many of the same courts time and again. What has been 'killed' is such a rapid fashion was any kind of mature and critical thinking by those who wanted to drag it out, and all done in God's Name.
