Ever hear the old saying about "When you're a hammer, everything starts looking like a nail"? Well, I'm reminded of that when I read that phrase after what appears to be an objective scientific paper, but what winds up being Yet Another "The Commies (collectivists) are out to get us using Yet Another Means to Take Over the World". (Shades of Pinky and the Brain! -->) It's like the knee-jerk approach that folks like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton uses to portray everything thru 'racial lenses' (you know, there is a racial meaning behind everything, or even most things, people say and do). So it is with this supposed 'mass collectivist hive mind' that 'students of liberty' are supposed to be on the lookout for. Utilitarians? I've met a few, and quite a number of them are members/friends/aggreable with of the Libertarian Party and it's philosophies. ... And you KNOW how Communist/Collectivist they aren't. ;)-->

Ahhh darn Raf! You changed your line on me. :(-->

Speaking of which, ... tell me Raf. Will it be sunny on the Sunni Elections? :D--> ((DA-DUM))

Speaking of Wendy, .... "For some puzzling reason, Wendy Hamburger's new clown mascot hasn't hit it off with the public like Ronald McDonald has." P.S., for future reference, maybe we can keep the length and height of the pics down to a more reasonable size? I mean, the clown look psycho enough as it is. But this looks like he's 2 inches from your face. Just a suggestion.

Hmmmm, interesting setup they have there. So that would mean that if Rosie were to 'kick off' as it were from the presidency, they would then have no less than *3* presidents in her place. Ie., TWI's version of the trinity, I imagine. ;)--> :D--> P.S., a sidenote. I knew Vince McFadden when he was a WOW in Huntsville, AL back in 1975-76. And he was a stuck up snot even back then. ... I can see why he got so far in TWI. -->

Cool, There you go! Not only is the name, '1-2-3 Towing', easy on the brain, but I like the logo too. Well maybe spruce it up a bit, but overall I think you have a winner there. Smart & creative son you got there. :)-->

Al we need now are the Ann 'pull my string and hear me squawk' Coulter and George 'aircraft carrier landing flight suit' Bush dolls---errr, ahh 'action figures', and we got the complete set. :D-->

..... like I said, the man just doesn't care. Heh! And he wants to convince us of *his* 'god'?? -->

"Tow, Tow, Tow Your Car, Gently Down the Road" :D--> Well ok, too long, but it makes for a good slogan perhaps.

Contradiction City here: and I.e., first he says that perhaps it is a good thing, then he says that he wishes that his character was more biblical with much less baggage. --> --> --> --> It's plain here, I think, that Oldies has gotten to the point that he just doesn't care about anything or anyone here in comparison with VPW's reputation and standing. Just so long as VPW's rep get the special 'whitewash' treatment due to what Oldies learned in PFAL, nothing, or nobody (especially in regards what *abuse* they went thru via VPW) else matters. ... Not really, anyway. And that's the 'god' that brings deliverence and the 'more abundant life'?? I trow not! :P--> P.S., Skyrider's latest post just proves my point!

For some of us, that phrase means "No internet connection. You might actually have to _go outside_ and meet *real* people!" :D-->

I just got an email titled 'Postcard for you from a friend' from PostCards4You.com, and it wound up being a trojan. (Not to worry, as I scanned that puppy first, detected the trojan, and deleted it.) The things that got me suspicious about it was 1) it didn't mention who the 'friend' was, and 2) it had an 'exe' attachment. (I also found out afterwards that the domain name 'postcards4u.com' is for sale. Ie., its a non-existant company.) So that's when I did the virus scan. This might be a new (and apparently looks to be a very effective) trend of spreading viruses/trojans. If so, _definitely_ beware of this, and make sure you keep your virus protection plan very secure and up to date. Be careful out there, folks.

"We're actually wired enough to receive cable!"

And that's when he had more hair than he does now. :D--> ((ducking and running))

Ron, Yes, it is indeed an irony. P.S., I hope this isn't in reference to my previous post about dreaming about shooting them. That was JUST in humor. ... Really it was. :D-->

(In his dreams, GarthP aims a high powered rifle at Freddie boy) Does that answer your question? ;)-->

Cool, Another source that I usually check out is the BBB (Better Business Bureau) site. All I have to do is type in the name or website of the business/organization in question, and it usually gives me a good run-down of the complaints, satisfactory rating, et al of the firm.

Sirguessalot, Now I know that they don't gaurantee when you'll get your first job and all that, but I was wondering. How long did it take your wife to get her first job from them? And have you heard about how long it took other people that you know anything about? Apparently at least it sounds like they offer some real work at least, which is good. Better than these 'fly-by-night' ops.

Oldies, Those bullets that are coming out of those machine guns, .... are they Oxygen saturated? :D-->

Sirguessalot, Thanks for the reference to Working Solutions. I've applied and am awaiting confirmation. Have you had any direct experience with them?

Act2, Basically just about any and all of these 'work at home' outfits, particularly those who charge an amount to buy their 'kit', are scam artists. Either they send you no material, or if they do, you work your butt off for little or no pay. The Better Business Bureau often advises against signing up with any of these 'firms', for much the same reason I just gave. Unfortunatily, a lot of people get taken in by these operations, particularly those who are unemployed. Hope this helps.

Ok, you're right. My apologies, Roy. Altho' I do suggest that you break down your posts into smaller, more manageable posts. And to try to keep it on topic. Peace.
