Geeez! You guys get a room!!
  2. Well, death, taxes, ... and really *sucky* TV reality shows. :P--> :D-->

Ahh but Paw. ..... Will it have fire engine red drapes at the living room window? :D--> (((ducking))) ((Also! Will it support HTML commands like this board *used* to?))
  4. ... Why? Because you're doing it because YOU want to, ... and because you CARE. :)--> Which makes you *SHINE*! :)-->
  5. ((Garth looks nervously out of the window to see if the airliner is heading towards any tall buildings)) :P-->
  6. ROFLMAO!!!! :D--> :D--> :D--> Now it is clear that you don't know our George Aar very well. ... At all. :D--> Thanks for the belly laugh. ... I just couldn't let that one slip by. :D-->
  7. Wow! And some folks say that I'm overly sensitive. --> Look guy, you did ask what 'we guys' (posters here) might think of it. I took a look at the site, and the info about it. I gave my response, which admittedly was what I felt when I looked at it. And I was open about it. Heck, I even put a question mark after the 'Momentus reborn' remark. I said that your mileage may vary. I even tried plainly explaining that. And that's f-wording on your thread? I don't think that I'm the one making the big deal here. ((shrugs)) Never mind. You can have your thread back. ... Just chill out, ok? You'll scare the fish.
  8. Uhmmm, speaking of being rude, ... all I gave was my initial impression after reading something about it on their website. True, we're not talking about an in-depth investigation being done here, but neither is it 'farting on your thread'. (And then again, this thread doesn't belong to you to begin with). People give their first impressions all the time. It's part of life. Now I would be willing to bet even money that, upon doing the same initial reading over the material on their website, and I gave a 'thumbs up' surface review, you wouldn't be whining about 'farting on your thread' then now, would you? Hhmmmm? So someone (me) had a critical remark based upon an impression of your program called Integral Workshop. So is that kind of response that you learned from these people? ... Hhmmmm, from what I could remember, Momentus grads had a similar response towards their critics too. ... Hhmmmm Well, if anything, this just strengthens my impression. Want me to open some more windows now? ;)-->
  9. Yes, I looked at the website, and read a little of their material, and I dunno, it had that Momentus 'feel' to it. But that's just me. Your mileage may vary.
  10. Notice how FAR away those hurricanes are staying. Like they know that we're PI**ED at them for some reason, ... ... Ya think? :D-->
  11. All that distance? Better take out a 2nd mortgage for the gas. ... Maybe a third.
  12. See, this is why I have a *very* skeptical point of view regarding all the song-and-dance about "The Big, Bad Media" or "The Leftist Socialist (or Right Wing Corporate for that matter) Media", or yadayadayada. All that claptrap basically shows that, while it might, *might*, make some valid points about various faults various individuals in the media might have (including the ones where those individuals pay more attention to the ratings than to their integrity), all those valid points are drowned (pardon the phrase) in the overdone hype and bull..... :P--> Basically all that aforementioned claptrap is usually (altho' not always) made by folks who get mad when *The Media* says something that skewers their sacred cows of their own beliefs. Shame on them! -->
  13. I can. I mean, come on, think about it. You're gonna tell me that every rain storm, every lightening bolt, etc., ... every situation that happens (good or bad) NEEDS to have some spirit entity behind it, motivating it for some supposedly 'higher' reason? Why can't stuff just happen do to natural causes and reactions? ... Or would that make God any less 'sovereign' than He is supposed to be or something? Hmmmm?
  14. Only for the women who originally thought that they could marry the guys that turned out to be gay. :D--> Reminds me of that one particular female complaint about "why is it that all the good men are either already married or gay?"
  15. On top of all this, their web design **SUX**. Its such a *shameful* piece of work to web designers everywhere. Is this their example of "God's Word in Web Design"?? This would be rendered a P.O.S. even back in the mid 90's! :P-->
  16. Belle, I wish to apologize for my recent posts here. I guess I was taking/responding to this topic more seriously than I needed to. From my standpoint, I could relate a lot to what AdiosMiCorazon said in an earlier post here: because I experienced much the same thing, especially the condescending part. So I apparently let that sore spot bleed into my posts here. Anywho, I think I'll leave this particular game, thank you. With no ill will towards you. Peace,
  17. (Syrupy sugar mode on) Why mah de-ah, ya-ll sound so sweet and chah-ming and all. Why, I bet Mizz Scah-lett would be so-o proud that you 'get' the Southern way and all. (Sickly sugar mode OFF) :P--> However, since I have lived in the South for the better part of 25-30 years, I have caught on to the game a lot more than my 'blunt Yankee' manner might lead you to believe. Which might be an advantage for me more than is immediately apparent. Perhaps its my Yankee version of your example of the redneck out-fooling that someone. ... Maybe we catch on to the game more than you realize. So, I will indeed keep mah 'endearing' "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" attitude. I find that that is more effective at keeping *my* self-esteem up than utilizing the Scarlett O'Hara approach. ... And makes me more proud that I'm a damn Yankee. ;)--> Besides, you know what they say about what happens when you eat too much candy. :P--> :P--> :P--> :P-->
  18. ((snicker)) TOLD ya they'd never go. :D-->
  19. And your gain from that would be, ..... what? What I said was "Actually, even tho' it would be intended as an insult, I wouldn't regard it as one, no matter where in the South I am." Perhaps I should have been more clear. I should have said, "I wouldn't have treated it as one (an insult)". Ie., I wouold have taken what was evidently an insult, and worked it to my favor. Its like during our country's fight for independence, when the British derided the colonists as 'Yankee Doodle Dandies'; a definite put down. The colonists grabbed that term, 'Yankees', and wore that label with pride. "Yankees! King George III regard us as Yankees, and we're proud of that!". In other words, they took control of the term and turned it around. Which is what I've done with the '(damn) Yankee' term, or 'being from New York' phrase. By the way, I am originally from upstate New York, so I guess the question "You're from New York, aren't you?" fits me especialy well. And maybe its also because I have a "frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" attitude about the question. ;)-->
  20. Actually, even tho' it would be intended as an insult, I wouldn't regard it as one, no matter where in the South I am. I would respond to that question with a little bit of pride and "Why yes sir, I *am* from New York. A damn Yankee is what I am, so a good day to you." :D--> I wonder if that can be regarded as an insult. ;)-->

I'm kinda fond of the Chevy label myself. .... Oops! Sorry! Wrong thread. :D-->
