  1. Something that is distinct from the concept of God. Ie., you don't need to be a theist in order to love. An atheist mother can love her children to where she would fiercely defend them from harm. An atheist citizen can love his country, so that he signs up and risks his life fighting for his country. An atheist member of his community can (and does) contribute to the betterment of said community. Hope that helps show you but a small example of what you're asking about. :B)
  2. (Imagining Rascal at her graduation ceramony) Master Po: "Take the pebble from my hand." Rascal, her hand moving with blinding speed, snatches the pebble from Master Po's hand before his mind can even begin to send a signal down to his hand to close it. **W-H-I-I-I-S-S-H-H** Master Po bows: "You are now a Jedi Master, Rascal-wan." ((Ok! Ok! So I'm mixing character plots from Kung Fu and Star Wars. Ehh! )) Corn-gratulations on your big achievement. ... Now you can get Mark to do more of the housework, and you know he's gonna do it. ;) WHOOOO-AAAAAaaaahhhhhh!!
  3. In the same vein of Goey's original post. ... ... Is it possible that the earth is flat? Is it possible that the moon is made of green cheese? Is it possible that George W. Bush---oops! I fergot. This isn't Politicks N' Tacks. :D
  4. And this is coming from someone who supposedly is annoyed by red herring arguments.
  5. Now this is definitely something to go nuts over. . . . Whoop Whoop!
  6. Unfortunately, it is quite representative of a particular leader of ours, ... who's term will end on 1-20-09.
  7. Good Gawd! And many of these people are out driving tonight! That scares the Bejeezus out of me!!
  8. Don'tWorryBeHappy, Get a grip, willya? ... I seriously doubt that John L. and the prophetic gang is waiting with baited breath to answer your probing questions. Might as well wait for Craiggers to openly apologize for all his crap.
  9. Folks, You know you're getting to WTH when he feels the need to use big blue and even bigger red colored fonts to endeavor to prove his point. ;)
  10. Face it folks. WTF--err H is like Smikeol meets the American Nazi Party. He's like Smikeol in that there is no convincing him in any way, size, shape, or form. And like the American Nazi Party because ... Well, you all see here. Yes Virginia, there are people like that in this world, and it just goes to show that not all who need to be in a mental institution are actually in said institution. Hhmmmm, ... ya know, this might make for a good Twilight Zone script. ((dooo DOOO doooo doooo ... dooo DOOO dooo dooo ..... ))
  11. There are, however, evil people in the real world, and one doesn't have to have a 'need' to artificially construct an enemy, a demon, for this to be true. And Adolf Hitler was one of said evil people. Stalin was another. There are yet still others. Ironically, something tells me that you yourself see the Jewish individuals you talk about as a set of demons. Your own writing here makes this quite obvious. ... So invariably you contradict yourself. <_<
  12. And Calvin and his mindset was the 'Honey Wagon'.
  13. Maybe one of the reasons why the Holocaust was so horrible, even beyond the horridness if the 65 million that were killed, was because it was a big part of Hitler's deliberate and purposal goal of exterminating a certain class of people; ie., the Jewish people. And it isn't because the Jews are better than everybody else; they're not. But when Adolph Hitler is endeavoring to exterminate a certain people due to their religion/culture, and he damn near succeeds (taking out about half of all the Jews in total), ... it exceeds your general horror of war.
  14. Try adding "The earth is flat, and the story of Magellan circumnavigating the globe is a myth" to that. You might as well, as it is consistant with the rest of the insanity you post.
  15. But that's the key, Lifted. Holocaust 'revisionists' don't come from the honest standpoint of considering all the facts. They try to portray it in that light, as tho' they want to get beyond 'the party line' and face the objective truth. But they do't. Know how I know this? I've gone to many revisionist sites, and talked to quite a few of revisionists, and the one nagging and consistant characteristic that keeps popping up is their distrust and even hatred of the Jews. Not certain Jewish individuals or even the Isreali government; the Jews. Period! They have this deep running theme of either Jews are trying to run the world, or take over the U.S. government, or are heading up all of the world banks, or are running Hollywood, or (from the religious angle) they are the ones who are guilty of killing Christ. Crap like that. And that always pops up sooner or later. They are biased and bigoted against Jewish people, even when they try to deny it. "Some of my best friends are Jews" is one such refrain of denial. And THAT is what keeps them from being seriously considered as objective historians as regards the Holocaust or anything else related. Whenever WTH talks about Jews, it is *always* with derision and even contempt (except of course if he's talking about certain Jewish 'scholars' who agree with him re: the Holocaust, and even then I imagine he's holding his nose when he does that <_< ). As a result, they are the ones promoting the "things just don't add up" theory and seeking to explain something without evidence.
  16. Brown skirts. Brown Shirts. ... Can you see the connection? ;)
  17. In 1929, the stock wasn't even a 10th the level it is now, and I don't think that the number is a good barometer to exclusively go by.
  18. I saw earlier a show on the History Channel called "Nazi America: A Secret History" which goes into detail about how the American Nazi Party was started by some Joe McCarthy knock-off who (like Joe) was obsessed with fighting Communism, and it morphed into his embracing Hitler's views, which included racial supremacy and livid hatred of the Jews. Seems like rabid obsession with fighting Communism was always part and parcel of anti-semeticism. Oh by the way, they also discarded the fact that the Holocaust occured. Seems like that little fact of history was running interference to their PR, as well as trying to recruit people into joining their cause. <_<
  19. Good Grief!! The Lawrence Welk Show meets One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest! ... with a good measure of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon thrown in for good measure!
  20. Kinda makes me wonder why he didn't 'flip the bird' at the owner as well.
  21. Excellent statement from the 2nd flick. Sure the black guy was quite emotional, but when you look past the anger, his words definitely made a lot of sense. Because when a lot of people think 'be American' from a cultural standpoint, they are (largely) thinking from a white basis, are they not? Good videos Cindy. :)
  22. Big city?!? Come on over to Hotlanta for the weekend. THEN you'll see 'Big City'. BIG time!
  23. "Ever considered giving up the Internet?" ROFLMAO!! . . . . No. But in all seriousness, talking about things we 'could live without', technically, we could live without: cars, trains, airplanes, electricity, guns, houses, horses, etc., etc., etc. Why just read your history books. ... Why there was a time where humans lived w/o books. People learned/were entertained by telling each other stories and what they learned, all based on memories. As far as I'm concerned, things (like the internet) are just that: things. Neither good nor bad in and of themselves. Johniam made a very good point about when the railroad and stuff first coming into use, and the old timers of that day made their complaints about the 'bad things' that 'new fangled' technology was going to do. Same with cars. And every other piece of technology that came down the pike, ... until they took to it too. Like Bob Dylan sang, "The times, they are a-changin'", and the only thing that is consistant is ... change. Might as well get used to it.
  24. Wordwolf thus plainly illustrates why Holocaust revisionist 'scholars' (such as WTH) can't be trusted to handle historical evidence/data from an objective point of view. They are too selective/one sided with the information, and yes Virginia, they do carry a hatred for the Jewish people (even for the Jewish 'scholars' who side with them <_< ), as every time they talk about or deal with Jewish people, that bigotry shows itself, either in an in-your-face manner, or more covertly.
  25. I stand corrected. ((bows))
