Yeah. Too bad a lot of folks don't consider Winter Solstice, and all of its origins that led to Christmas, ... traditional ;). Especially the ones who freak out when you say "Happy Holidays" or any of the other non-Christian greetings to them. Maybe they just need a good cup o' eggnog to calm down with, and wait for New Years Eve!

Happy Winter Solstice to all. A holiday of the celebration of when the sun starts its rise (and according to ancient myths, rebirth) back from the middle of cold, cold winter, bringing the promise of new life and warmth. A holiday from whence all other similar holidays of this type (including Christmas) sprang. A holiday from where we get holiday wreaths, Christmas trees, Father Christmas, mistletoes, tree lights, holiday dinners, ... and just about most of the images and things that we today associate with Christmas. What we did NOT get from this ancient holiday however, ...................... is that damn &@$#*@& Xmas muzack that you hear piping over and over and over and over again in the mall!!! Anywho, Happy Winter Solstice Holidays to all, ..... and drive safely on New Years Eve!

I 2nd what Jonny said. ... altho' it might be for different reasons, ... I can't really tell at this point.

“A God without wrath ..." Like we need a God with wrath? ........ Wow! What a 'gospel' (good news), ehhh? Think I'll pass. <_<

Such a message "web page expired" would have to be determined by Javascript code that sets an expiration date on that page. No doubt there are numerous Javascript examples/tutorials to show you how.

Fascinating how folks like Johniam and his supporters go thru a *helluva* lot of denial spewing the crap they do, ... and actually feel that they are right in doing so. And the (self inflicted) near impossible difficulty it would take for them to apologize for their abusive verbal 'clocking' of those who dare challenge them re: these topics. Where is the joy? Where is the peace of 'God'? Where is the Power to Live a More Than Abundant Life? ... You know, all the promises that were to supposedly go along with TWI and the PFAL class?

Did anybody check out the Farts in the Gymn one? I was laughing so hard I was crying!

   Good God!! And to paraphrase from one of Jeff Foxworthy skits, ..... "And she's out there driving tonight. That scares the hell out of me!"

Weren't mallpacks something you took to the Mall to shop with---, Oh ohh! ... I see. MALPacks. ... if they have any food in them, ... you _sure_ that the food is still good?

... (that being said, Garth picks up a mug o' beer and prepares to .....)

Really? Please show me how the ones who went thru the abuse _personally_ are not FIRST HAND witnesses. ... That would be a neat trick. <_<

Nero, Good point. And its a point that she "never, never, never,...NEVER" addresses. <_<

Yes, yes, Dmiller, ... we all know that the Mac is the solution to All Problems.

Nahhh. He's just squirrely.

Ouch! ... Speaking of hitting close to home, ... ehhh Johniam? ;)

... and speaking of wanting to be here; What is WTH's reasons for wanting to be here? For continuing to be here? Since he is so over the 'anger and bitterness' and so on that supposedly afflict the rest of us with our complaining about TWI, ..... why is he still here, ... complaining about us? <_<
-
... which translated to non-bulls**t English means same old, same old defense and whitewash of 'The Teacher'. Same song, second verse. <_<

Update! Update! Befrore anyone starts treating this like a Snopes proven urban rumor, try the following links to see that the controversial book does indeed exist: Lynne Cheney, Wolf Blitzer, and ‘Sisters’ … oh my... J-Walk Blog (Near the bottom of the page.) Museum of Hoaxes? Apparently not! ;) Ahhh, but we are just a bunch of Bush-whackers, ehhh? ..... If that is the best rebuttal you can come up with, you can just quit right now.

 Casting out spirits, are we now? What are they called, ... 'liberal spirits'? I can see where Hap4me's focus is, even if you can't (or won't). Yeah, the site has Bush bashing on it (like you would really make that kind of 'outraged' distinction if it were a Clinton bashing site. And please spare me any claim to the contrary, I just ate my lunch. ) Yeah it has 'profane statements that might impurify one's 'virgin ears'. But the main focus on the link that Hap provided ran in accordance with what he said about women's roles in the old west. Ie., that it wasn't exactly "Little House Full of Fairies---errr, I mean On the Prairie" during that time. ... But n-n-o-o-o, one anti-Bush comment, ad, or picture, and you go ape. Well, sometimes you're going to find things on a webpage other than what the main theme indicates. Such is the nature of the beast called the 'Net. Now, try to focus on the book itself, and comment on that, ok? Hells bells! Hap could have given a link to 'Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat', and Rhino probably would have launched into how it is Bush bashing because the term 'Curious George' is Yet Another Slur on Dubya. <_<
-
Well said, Hap.

Attila--errr, Rhino, If you don't like the 'Bush trashing site' and the link thereto, ..... don't read it. Simple, no?
