  1. Jonny, You might not intend on giving them 'a pass', 'making excuses', 'condemning victims', and the like, ... but with the kind of 'forgiveness' (<-- notice the quotes) you're talking about throughout all these kinds of threads, invariably that is how it comes out. Interesting (as in ironic) too, as many times, over in the Politics n' Tacks area, you often come down quite hard on liberal, 'Dhimmycrat', tree-hugging politicians and activists, ..... and almost as hard (if not harder) than TWI critics come down on Weirwille and Martindale. Where's the love there, Jonny? Where's the forgiveness? Hmmm? <_<
  2. Classic example of the "Big Ooops!" And some lines that I would be willing to bet was spoken by the defendent after his case was *bitchslapped*, and the court is ready to render sentencing. "Ooopsie! Yer honor. Apparently I was misinformed. **Please** be gentle with me!" Dmiller, Your comparison is flawed. What I was referring to was the legality of the income tax and it being taken to the Supreme Court as a test/challenge of its Constitutionality. In order to successfully challenge the Constitutionality of _any_ law, one must go through the process of appealing said law, and all the way to the Supreme Court if necessary. ... Period. ... Its a process that won't be changed. ..... Sorry. Your example of successfully suing TWI is not anywhere near to being similar to my point. ... That wasn't even a 'nice try', guy. <_<
  3. Okay Rock, you want to play your (usual) game of 'I'm the FINAL authority', hey, I'm game. I can play the antithesis to that just fine. I've played that with Rhino. I've played that with RonG. I can do the same with you. ;) Consider the following remarks by you: Now rather than focusing on the content of this quote, note specifically the _way_ you portray it. ... As absolutes you proclaim that aren't open to debate. ... Period. ... Kinda like the stern schoolmaster rapping his ruler firmly on the desk indicating that he will tolerate NO argument! ... PERIOD!(((WHAP))) Now me, I kinda find it rather amusing. Laughable even. ... Especially this part: "NO, Garth, as usual, you play the part of the JESTER. The fool." Uh yeah, right guy. ... "As usual the fool" ehh? ..... Uhh huh. I notice that you don't find me 'usually' the fool over in Politicks n' Tacks when I agree with your political points of view or blow to shreds some of 'wRonG's' arguments. ... Hhmmm. What gives? The initial point on this thread WAS about a certain program that bears a VERY good likeness to the Way Corps. Fer crying out loud, reading some of the pages tells me that the author must have used a copy machine to get his material from the Way Corp printouts. Oh, and as far as 'judging people's hearts', you seem to be breaking your own rule here quite a bit Rocky. ... "Judging people's hearts". ... Yeah, right! Errm, excuse me, but one CAN (rightfully) judge someone's heart a lot more than you think, particularly when you consider that what is in someone's heart often comes flowing out their mouth and actions. ... Try to consider THAT as foolishness, ... if you can. Besides, I find jesters far more REAL than the people that they mock! ;)
  4. That site is hilarious! On one of the pages, the first picture I saw was the broken down truck with the caption "Students Of the Word Equipped and Running to Serve". And them cooking ... in a pit? What? Can't they afford a stove? Rocky & Jonny. (Man! This is a first. Rocky and Jonny actually agreeing on something! ) Looking over the site clearly shows me that they are trying to set up a carbon copy of the Way Corpse (Good grief, read some of the pages there ) . And that particular model is rife with power-med corruption and abuse. ... So any accusation of libel/slander of someone trying to set up a Christian ministry of service is flawed. The original points by Ham and Rhino are dead on and right. ... Even if it isn't in 'the heart' of the originator of said program. And its a rendering that I agree with.
  5. I haven't taken the time to view the whole videos (yet), but I'd be willing to bet that if they say "No", ... they are out to lunch. This issue has been brought up time and again, and _still_ the ones who say that the Income Tax is illegal fail to make their case. Also, why is it that they haven't successfully challenged the whole concept all the way to the Supreme Court? (<--- note the emphasis on that word successfully. Which means that they would have _won_ their challenge) I notice that I always get an eerie silence or a lot of shuck-and-jive when I present that question. <_<
  6. Jeast, Speaking of Bill Morton, whatever happened to him later, as far as you know? Thanks! :)
  7. Well a couple of tornadoes went through NW of here in a NE direction. Not much damage in Huntsville proper, but the outer northern areas were hit intermittently, and there was this one area N-NE of here that got it pretty bad.
  8. Actually Ron, the real reason why the Alabama tornadoes were the ONLY ones covered, is because the Weather Channel is taking kickbacks from the Alabama legislature to give 'Bama tornadoes _exclusive_ coverage. And apparently the Arkansas legislature wasn't willing to do that. Gotta grease them palms, dude. Sshhhhh, .... don't tell anyone you heard it here.
  9. Latin services bored me outta my skull? ... ... wait a minute! I wasn't Catholic. My bad. Carry on.
  10. Hhmmmm, ... using the Alabama breeding method, I see.
  11. Errrmmm, .... yah! ... Make sure to vote for the guy with the BIG mustache. Right!
  12. Errmm, ... when you challenge what he believes about others beliefs, ..... .... isn't that challenging his beliefs, ... anyway?
  13. He he he he he he he! Poetic justice! Way to go!!
  14. Here is another one that I think follows the same train of thought: Hhmmmm, maybe this mind control cult stuff is a lot more widespread than we think, ... yes? ;) P.S., that last bit about Universism came with the video, and as far as I'm concerned, is irrelevent to the main message of the video. But since I don't have the video editing software, there it is. In any event, what I said about the rest of the video being relevent still stands. I trust nobody here was too offended. ;) P.P.S., when the video ends, listen to the one indicated by one of the thumbnails at the bottom called "A Word to Islamofacists". Quite straight and direct.
  15. "Putting my ethics ruthlessly on others" .... Ie., shoving his beliefs down others throats, whether they like it or not. WTF?? Excuse me??? Who in the hell does this self-centered prick think he is? And as tho' Scientology gives him that right? One upside of this tho', is the internet. Where all the crap about Scientology is, or will be, open for all to see, ... and their is nothing that Cruise's group can do to stop it.
  16. Perhaps one of those 'SOmeones' was named Martin Luther. ... Mr. Sola Scriptura himself? ... Hmm... ;)
  17. I'm not personally against using magic markers, if you must. Its just that I like using a Windows computer, MS Word, and different colored fonts. ... I trust that doesn't make me a 'scoffer'.
  18. Thinking back, I think maybe one of my ... uhhh, not-so-diplomatic posts was ... excised.
  19. ??? ... and where did Eyesopen make any personal attacks? I thought her next-to-the-last post made some excellent points.
  20. This guy is a riot! ((snif)) I don't think we need to ask; it's kinda obvious as to why. <_< Really? ... Relate to being in TWI for over 30 years? ... And still staying? Well, maybe a few can (who shall remain nameless ;) ), but I'd be willing to bet that most here cannot. Look chief, you ought to consider that the rhetoric is the *least* of things that hurt you or anyone else. I mean, c'mon! Which is worse in your opinion? 1) Reading some mockery of a ministry that has let just about all of us here down in so many damn ways? Or, ... 2) Being the first hand victim/target/survivor of said sucky ministry in so many damn ways? You tell us! So when you come here to Greasespot, allow me to tell you what GS is not; a overly-polite garden party where we all 'have our minds renewed to the Word' (Wierwille's, yours, or anyone else's). No, what this is is an open society of posters, an encouraging sign for people to just be themselves and allow others to be themselves. ... A society that was frowned on by The Way International, Wierwille, Martindale, and their crowd of losers. So welcome to reality, and accept it for what it is.
  21. Its where you shout at the computer because of a misplaced post.
  22. I don't know if this is 100% true, but didn't Martin Luther himself think that the Book of James and even the Book of Revelation didn't belong in the Scriptures? ((slipping back into the shadows ;) ))
  23. Yeppers folks, what we have here is: "Mike Wars - The Revenge of Mike's Disciples!" <_<
