Raf, I've been having more downtime trouble with these folks in the past 2-3 months, as well as tech support trouble. For one thing, they have their offices located in Costa Rica, where their phone systems are notorious for experiencing problems. Also, they seem to have an unsatisfatory track record in dealing with the Better Business Bureau in dealing with customers. I myself have had a few hair-pulling sessions with them. Plus, since they seem to be on the out-sourcing out of the country side of things, that doesn't exactly ring positive to me. Folks, the web hosting firm I speak of is FreeHostingWeb.net, and I'm seriously thinking of switching hosts around the end of the year when my domain name with them expires. Raf, I suggest you think about doing the same, if you don't want to continue experiencing these kinds of problems. They used to be really good at tech support and uptime. No longer, it seems. The next firm I deal with had better have a glowing report with the BBB, as well as have a good reputation as a whole, even if it means paying a little extra. To me, its worth it. Frankly Oldies, the issue of whether or not VPW was born again, either of God or of the devil, is largely irrelevent. Yes Virginia, I said irrelevent! Especially to those who suffered under his abuses. Because what good is it, from many angles be it spiritual or material, that he is born again, and is doing this crap to his followers, huh? I mean, isn't this a lot like that section in I John that talks about what good is it to say you love God but hate your brother? Same principle here. What good is it for him to be born again, and even 'teach the Word' as it were, if he abuses and screws over people like all this? Answer: It isn't! At all! And by what his life & example illustrates, even if it includes the 'getting born again', 'speaking in tongues', 'teaching the Word', etc., isn't worth following after, defending, or even seriously considering by any mature, thinking, free person. Smikeol, I used to have a similar opinion as this. Then Rafael explained the specific details to me with very sound reasoning from a professional who knows his trade as to why it does amount to plagiarism. The fact that VPW mentioned B.G. Leonard and E.W. Bullinger in his teachings doesn't negate this fact in the least. Face it chief. Your 'father in the Word' committed plagiarism, despite whatever truths he might have taught. Your blind obedience and loyalty to VPW is at best irrelevent to and at worst a detriment to any objective and rational opinion you might have on the matter. And if the 'One True God' is the source for this 'God breathed' factor of PFAL, then all I have to say to that is your deity is seriously f'd up.
