Thank you all for posting..Everyone from the 90's definitley had different experiences according to leadership and possible geography..I live on the border of 250 miles from New Knoxville my whole Way life..We seet our faces like flint...Stood against every possible weak moment at any time so we could defeat anything that came our way......we were strong but never able to arrive....arrive at what..we were there the whole time...we just couldnt remember Grace.... My last 2 yrs I helped a fellow believer who had Cancer.....I stood by her side every possible moment I could...including paraying at 2 or 5 in the morning..cutting her long blonde to 1" all over head because it decided to fall out almost all at once..I watched her husband work on cars in the middle of Jan in freezing cold temps in an unheated garage, so he could pay off debt for her to be able to attend Advance Class. Did I freely avail??

and the word didnt have FREECOURSE either...like it says in Thessolonians.

It's been on my mind for a long time to ask this question. I have been recalling a little statement whispered to me back in the mid 90's, that leadership was trying to turn us into CORP..Now given, we didnt have to leave our area and pay tuition and raise up out of bed at 4am.....or pull the hrs you did..but we were to be examples of the guidelines of the Disciplined Ones....I think most of this started after the redefinition of the "WayFollower's. It was more than moving out the weak ones..it was pure spiritual harrassment..Please dont take offence to this..I am working thru some of stuff that linger's....they realy didnt have many to serve after the 90's.....so they BROKE US DOWN and never built us up... But we did have to: keep ours homes spotless ABS report our traveling report our debt live on a need bases (almost) expect 100% all the time attend every fellowship and class without excuses keep our physical bodies in shape we were molded to "It is Written" as well.. we know that most of that was garbage..

Looks like the trees from Katrina where mulched and sent to Home Depot and Lowes. Now there is a warning out that the mulch is carrying terminites.. here is the info: http://www.agctr.lsu.edu/termites Yesterday, I helped a friend spread 12 bags of mulch which we bought from Home Depot.... Not sure what brand it is. She bought the dyed red mulch.. she doesnt know about this yet. I just got this email.

Bagpipes- oh,,I have treaded those very waters and still do....I am stil realizing and striving to get back to simplicity that he laid his life down for us...I am still a Christian and try to continue in some things I ve learned. But perfectionism is not on the top of my list. Mainly I know I am looking for the deliverance of the Way.. we were in a cookie cutter life style......this probaly does not help much..

A friend of mine asked me to go the show last month. She rattled off the movie she wanted to see. So off we went. I sat in my seat and Broken Back started. She whispers and said, do you know about this movie? I said no. The Cinemaphotography was awesome....but I could see that the direction of the movie was to take people in thier emotions to accepting 'same type'of love relationships....I tried to enjoy the movie, but my heart knew it was a sympatheticly driven for 'same type' of love it talks about in Romans. I found myself getting worried about how far is Hollywood going to take this....How much flesh is going to be shown here. It did see a explicit spot in the movie....I would not let my pre-teens see this movie this is fot the mature audience.......I am not open to this stuff..and never will be.

Ricky- McFaden came on as LC for Illinois while I was on probation. Mr.Spevak was prior. I was told by BC to read and listen to sns tapes and write a letter every month for 6 month's while I was on probation, direction..also, I abs'd 18% because I was taught God would not spit in my direction...I counted the days to meet him.Mr.McFaden moved the hoops on me and said I did the letter's wrong. DO you know how much time and heart I put into those letters..I guess they didnt see enough submission or something.He sent me home to rewrite my letter and put the whole 6 months on another letter. I felt like a kid going to see the principle after detention...do they serve God with any heart..thats the real question? They broke up my fiance and I and was not able to go to my best friends funeral who was a believer....duh.....think on these things.. LorneDoone- THank you for posting Gal. after leaving I sat thru a 14 hr teaching on Galatians and bibicaly and spiritualy I saw I was betwitched..I actualy teared thru the first four classes..I couldnt believe how TWI lied and messed up the word so bad...think on these things...

ILB- Good way to put it...Emotional intrusion...Ive been going thru this since I left in 2000. I spent 17yrs total in TWI...My heart goes out to you...Ususaly most folks say relax and enjoy your..the confusing thing is I thought I was living in freedom all those years until I left..My mind was a seesaw reading thru and sifting thru all that went on without my knowing..... I dont know where to start on healing..for the last three weeks I felt like a huge failure. Then some realy good stuff happened at work today...my heart just smiled..I realized God hasnt forsaken me and he does know my heart....I felt so foolish thinking for thinking there must be something in my physical that is wrong or spiritual..I decided today..to work even harder in keeping my mind and heart at peace and see trusting God bigger.....I am single so its harder at times:( Be patient with yourself and be the good person you are....you are very valuable to those you love...I think giving is still very important....trying to build more goodness in life is never wasted.. hugs!!!!!!!

Oh Vyctorya- Im so sorry this happened to you..... People can take things to extremes...the word was taken to extremes...we will survive:) I left in 2000 also.
