Can someone explain the Crown thing? Was that biblical? Is thier any truth or was it a fabrication to have folks rejoice in good works for doing good..I never grabbed the concept cause I wasnt interested I guess in truly knowing. Maybe, my hunger was satisfied by knowing and understanding the Redemption and Salvation. I definitely never did thing for Crowns..Maybe I will have some waiting and I dont know it:)....Maybe the Hope was good enough..It seems it was played up for a period of time. Also, if JC was the Red Thread, seems God had bigger things he wanted to to be done.....It was good enough for me.

Raf- Thanks for picking up on the above said...I think folks here on the boards and those who are trying to put peices together in thier lifes post twi or for those still in can are looking for ways to mend and heal...articulation of words (it is more pleasing) or words mistyped can be challenging to the reader at times. Words that directed to service ourselves (in extreme) can throw off some changes that can happen for good.. I met someone in the last year who quit going to a stick twig cause they found out I had just left THE Way. I was confused about it..But I have learned that the attitude is carried here on the boards as well.. Sounds like you have been out for a while. Youve taken the time to rework alot of VPW books that we all know well..So, this is probaly old hat to you..you have been on a mission for along time...thanks for your efforts..:)

Oakspear- we had very similiar times in TWI...... I understand you totaly. It felt good to hear someone from my period of time. Im proud of your decision to make the best out of your life. Altho, I found some of the comments about going back in 90 kind of snide, thats ok, because we know the deep things that caused us to stay and working thru those deeps things has given us more freedom. good job guy's

Rumrunner- THose are your precious memories and we have the right to hold on to those. Those were special days for many...I have many fond memories of experiencing love and miracles, I do not allow the other bad things that happened to me rob me of those nor do I let people try to misinterpret the good in life..cheers!! Heck I had good days in the 90's....go figure!!

Your kidding welcome notes...how cool is that... :) I am looking for the big town small town feel....I live 21 miles from work and it takes an hr to get home. Its all historical land and is very protected. so building good roads for drivers must be difficult..and the cost of living is high...people dont talk because their exhausted...from thier commutes alone.

What is your description of the 'Quality of Life' your looking or for or have obtained? Is it an on going undertaking of building relationships, contributing to life around you, a certain place in life you wish to be? It must be in a meditative mood. Whenever big things are going on in my life, like my move to a new state(next week), makes me think deeper and this has trigered my motives of moving besides helping my daughter so she can finish college. I live in a very busy transit area is located in a very high level Government area. I have been here for just over 2 yrs. and have not been able to see real quality in life here nor get that rooting feeling.. Have you been in this spot before? It is a strange feeling. Now I know there are going to some brewski songs playing soon...

I agree Paw.. For some reason people tie thier opinions to themselves as self worth. The opinions of the same regurgitated stream is non effective...if things are thought thru first instead the constant rise of self fullfillment, this site could be more valuable...I personaly can see when a Sunami is goiing to hit a post and I stay away...It's quality and not quantity.. It has become extreme.

Belle- there is a time for getting over it....THank God....or maybe the pain eases and its not our driving force. If we carry grudges all the time it can be discouraging, always setting a course for neg results..I donot like being overly negative and when I feel to much pressure...I slow down. there is a time for letting down here.....Its not even good for the soul or the physical body to carry envy, strife and bitterness...it more like a decompression chamber here and tends to refuel...there is no real fix cause we all have been left with something to deal with... jmho

Thanks for responses.. Vry interesting. So communication was weak unless you were with a large group who chose to exit at the same time and if they were strong enough for each other. Galen, Im sure you got the run around. Like an island to yourself..I bet it made for some sweet times for those who helped each other with struggles tho. WHy did people keep classes? where they afraid they would have nothing to present to friends and family interested in classes.
