Faith- I think it is acquired by knowledge..there are paved roadmaps that I will not put under reconstruction, cause my brain can only handle so much. :) I do like discussing it with others tho..It takes me nowhere when I try to remap in on a keyboard, except to mental exhaustian if I try to replay things..Meanwhile, I am developing new highways in other areas..I guess Im a project to myself..heehee

There is no mention of our Military....this is a different day...a different thread...I wasnt even comparing our Military here...but the war some of us went thru, LG!! You have grossly misinterpretated what I wrote. I would never compare myself to a Veteran.....I am a mother of a Veteran.

In the last five years, since leaving TWI, I have concluded some of my thoughts. I dont measure this based on outcome of victories, or how much time was served, who got medals (or name tags) or certain level of status Corp or Noncorp. But a measure to relinquish the fact that there is a love, honored and worth serving...In my most desperate moments of my personal crisis since exiting TWI, I had to come to the thought at some point that there is still love. Sometimes it doesnt always reflect from a podium, but from the simplier things in life, like a phone call, from a reaching hand, from a compliment,etc. I can reflect on moments where I shared a certain love and turned a hungry soul to a greater love..to revealing that the Love of God can still be lived..what is the measure? THere is no measure...but in my quietness I remember.. Folks, all of us have come thru a war..and somewhere, we loved and gave place for his love to live. We learned it in such a intimate place within ourselves.. Dont let the WAR rob you of greater or happier moments... Our badge is to continue..living in the freedom, making better choices. We are heroes, everything time we reach out!! or simply remember:)

I was born and raised in CHicago area and all winters were bad..so this should be a walk in the park.. But I know that animals always prepare for winter way ahead. One year at my old house, I had 5 Oak tree's that must have dropped several thousands of Acorns on year...Our deer hunter friend gathered them to feed his deer,, what have you observed....? geesh,I cannot edit my spelling:(

I dont know your brother,but you may want to post more info on him..was he with the TWI? WHere was he the last time you had contact with him.?

Bowtwi- I was at the ROA that year..I remember the belwildered Way Disciples wondering around grounds in shock!!!!! The grounds were hushed in silenced.....it was eerry( sp-ha)....I searched high and low that night for a dear friend who was ready w/ commitment to do his year for God. I found him feeling so lost and trying to reason all of it out in his heart......and not loose face.. I am so glad your son is on his road to marriage..:) hugs!!
