  7. Another Wow..TBone..I can understand this so much better. I does fit my pea brain understanding. I can see how the One Body do need each other for the Spirit to regenerate folks, as a part of the whole picture. It more than one just being born again, but the purpose is to give life!! big stuff:)
  8. Welcome!! Eyesopen!! There is alot to chew on in this subject.. but I will not redefine its purpose..just looking to see if there is something im missing:)
  9. Robin- thank you so much for your prayer's. I was offered a wonderful job in Raleigh, at Quintiles Pharm...I start Monday!! Take extra special care..:)

  10. Raf- I understand what you are saying Raf, and there is alot of info in the bible, that can cause us to stumble in the limiting area. But, It does wide is the gate, but narrow is the way. As far as folks seeking, that is where God can work in someone.. But, yet, it is definitive how God looks at it. Im speaking of today and not yesteryear of the old testment...
  11. maybe, this should be posted in THe Soap Opera Thread.. 2 women fighting who is right..?
  12. Raf Do you have scriptural to back up your comments?..We are making an honest attempt to look at scriptures...
  13. Tbone- Yes, I always loved the section on the Comforter..God always makes a way out when we think there is no way. also, twi's perpetual cycle of condemnation doesnt help... But, I find the more I read the more I believe it...yet, I feel like I fall short... THanks so much for providing more insight..from the scriptures.
  14. Hi Robin, I have 2 interviews today in Raliegh..thank God!! :)

  15. Based on a little Internet searching, I discovered this, this morning....I think scripturly this sums it up...thus, I think some definitions are condstantly bringing forth new info..Im trying to get back to basics, pulling the weeds out.. Romans 8 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, 4 in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. 5 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; 7 the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so. 8 Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. 9 You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. 12 Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation--but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 14 because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children
  16. Wow, you all..so much info here. I cannot reply to everyone, but I have a better understanding. I guess to start off, freewill still lies in between the brain and Spirit. Altho, the brain being the sole source for making decisions, it is the still small voice that we have to help us, because it is still and the way we can get guidance outside the brain, and God knew we were fools from birth and we needed this...just thinking out loud.. Now if Donkey's start talking to me, I will be running. Marko- little by little, I have been dissecting cetain aspects of twi's teaching to discern truth and error, its a natural process. folks, please add more..:) this has been so refreshing.

  19. Remember the ROA in Sidney, and believers would sell their handmade artwork. I bought a blue leather bible case with a white dove on top, It is still on my bible..
  20. Right Oakspear- I remember that too. So that relates to the Gift and the Giver. So from this, I assume that he teaches our Spirit which teaches our mind? But we are the driver's, only when we are meek and ready, he then can teach us. Yes, I agree, I need scripture, to me it sounds wayish, altho, I have utilized these mechanics for so long, it is second nature..I only second guess my own abilities, but I never doubt love.
  21. Tb- Thanks for your insights- It simplifies it pretty much. Pretty much how I wake up and go to sleep each day..
  22. Yes, this is a good example of the practical side. He had spirit unconditionaly, but did have to renew his mind as well, thats why we can understand the walk, his example Tbone= Im sure that is it.. I know that Joyce Meyer', Creflo and others teach this principle, but without a term atached to it.. Roy,GBU2:) There is the physical organ and then the place in the brain where we make decisions and we reference to that we kept hidden in out heart..
