Im moving to New Hampshire..I do not want to drive a truck or tow and am considering ground shipping..I have about 6 pieces of unreplaceable furniture peices that I am considering to ship along with about 25 rubbermaid tubs.. has anyone used a ground shipper...did you find it cost effective...?

A close friend of the family grew up in El Paso,..his father was a grain farmer.......well, the surrounding farms(ranch/farms) were owned by the over the Border ones who used thier farming abilities to hide the real biz of Drug Cartelling........see, I told you my ears are gettin red...ha.......dropped the grain prices so low that he was forced out of biz and they bought his land.....hello RHino watch your land...

geeeze,what started out as a nice little thread to help Dot out has turned into one of GS out n out food fights... I personaly do not like heavily weighted area's, I prefer 60 percent white.....usualy you will pay higher buckos for the clean white color areas..Iam from chicago...I grew up within a very mixed area.... THere are french speaking folks in NH, and I welcome it..plus no personal or state tax.. personal tax is a foriegn concept to me until I moved to VA....we are talking big bucks.. Here is a real KILLER- I was a loan officer in VA..I get anyone with a GREENCARD a loan...now get this , they have no credit...pretty flippin sad..THey live in groves of 20 and can save 50000 in 6 months..amd bingo......they can get a loan.. dont get my chicago temper up...

Dot- THe real Mayberry town is i Mt.Airy.. I said I wouldnt recommend this area, even tho it is small and affordable, the downtown area which consist of 4 blks which is trashy looking...there is nowhere to take visitors to unless the ocean..Church is a social thing..There are about 200 Dr.offices and 200 churches that make up this area(huge Pentecostal andBaptist population)and they know if your not one....believe it or not there are about 30 percent hispanic illegals here too..seems like they like hidding out in small towns too..Its about an hr to the Pamlico Sound and 1 and a half to Willmington.... If your looking at the ocean...Elizabeth City (Kittyhawk,NC area( is beautiful)..down the road a peice is the Wild Horse Refuge..there are wild horses here in NC and Va.Im sure you have heard of Nags Head,NC it geogeous very pricey..the Chesapeake Bay is local to this area..alot fishing and Colonial History.

Tom no way..I live here in Goldsboro,altho, it is very mayberryish...I would never recommend anyone to move here..I am not acclamating to the south very well..to be honest..im not wired for it,altho I appreciate the beauty..the ocean has always been my love. Oenphenile can tell you more.. Western NC is beautiful...It's very affordable with very mild winter's.. who is Pirate????

After moving from Illinois to DC, then to NC, now I am moving to Manchester,New Hampshire. My moving so much has included reasons,such as: Cost of living, Government jobs and Pharmaceutical..Now I am moving because of my current location and love of family..I live rural and my commute to work for several months was 3 1/2 hrs a day..I found myself just drifting along everyday..I moved here for quality of life and it has been slow going..I had the opportunity to move to NH but the snow and long winters detered me..but my love for family is stronger and my own vision..both my daughter's will be reunited, and I get to be by my future grandchildren.Also, I cannot forget my wonderful son n law...who God blessed us with. So, I am very glad I kept my Sporto boots, all my wool clothing...I am sure I will need it..Now I have to buy Down, a 4 wheeler, and a sled team...and snow shoes..CHasUfarley watch your pm's...:) Dot- I hope all goes well...crossroads need careful navigating..but it can be so much fun..
