  1. Dot: I have candled my ears several times. Seems to relieve sinus pressure for me. A dr. once told me that sinus pressure can make a person's ear ache. I have also heard of a chiropractor adjusting a person's ear to relieve ringing. Just a few tidbits . . . Take care, moreyt
  2. PS Thanks for starting this, Valerie. moreyt
  3. Wooooohooooo ((((((((Sharon)))))))) ! Check private topics, ok? I finally figured it out. No longer embarrassed. moreyt
  4. Kit: Have a wonderful b'day, Kit. We appreciate you! morey
  5. Uh, Valeria, I can't figure out this private topic thing. How embarrassing. Anyway, you can tell Sharon that she used to cut my hair in Lincoln and I'm a musician, if she wants to know who I am. Thanks moreyt
  6. Valerie: THANKS! Just so she can know who I am, I'm going to tell you my maiden name in private topic. Thanks moreyt
  7. I, also, would like to know where Sharon is these days. She married a guy named Scott Bell and they were living in the Kansas City area YEARS ago . . . moreyt
  8. I was a WOW in 1978-1979. One time my BC, who had just graduated from the WC, said "I would kill Ted Patrick, if Dr. Wierwille asked me to." Gave me chills. moreyt
  9. I was in the second grade. Our teacher told us that our president had just been killed. A lot of the girls in my class cried. Our TV was on nonstop right after that. I remember John-John saluting his dad's casket. I also remember seeing Oswald getting shot in a crowded hallway. moreyt
  10. Guitar, mandolin, some bass, some keyboards. Playing music is fun. moreyt

Dot: Yes, I do. I need to run right now, but sometime in next few days, I'll private topic you. moreyt
  12. Wow. Thanks, guys! I'm celebrating by taking a long walk (it's 80 and sunny) on a pedestrian / bicycle bridge that crosses the Mississippi River -- inbetween my morning and my evening classes. Kit and Dot, I really enjoy your posts. Thanks for your ministry, Kit. moreyt
  13. WayferNot: I had to learn to apologize after TWI & I was stumped for a while, too. Then, I began having children. I started the habit with my young daughter. She has received more apologies from me than anyone! Now, 6 years later, I apologize pretty freely to just about anyone. Maybe you could start with apologizing (as a habit) with one really cool person. Then let it spread out from there?? Worked for me. Take care. moreyt
  14. Not central, but southwestern IL. I'm in Madison county -- near St. Louis. moreyt
  15. Dot: I live w Jane briefly in mid-80s. She married a nice guy named Mike Sterner. He later died. I talked w/ Jane around 1990 and she was living with her brother out west somewhere. Sorry so vague. moreyt
  16. Happy birthday, Kit. We love you! Socks - cool cake.
  17. I find it very sad that people still have dr. w on such a pedestal. Total reverence for his teachings is another symptom of how he is above the rest of us believers in the minds of these people. Recently a friend told me that another friend was sending her some information that Dr. Wierwille had compiled on some topic -- totally secular. I told her that I was glad that I'd taken PFAL and I was glad that Dr. Wierwille produced the class. BUT, I said, since when did all truth funnel through New Knoxville? The body of Christ is SOOOO big. We all, I'm sure, have lots of people to live the mystery with and, chances are, these people have NEVER even heard of TWI and have never even been to Ohio. God is so big. I hate to see people limit him by insisting on exclusively old Way information for their spiritual diet. moreyt

    Lon Boner

That sounds right, Ex. Last I heard, the Boners had moved to the Atlanta area. moreyt
  19. Socks & Hope: Thanks for the song lyrics. I've been cutting and pasting like crazy . . . ChattyKathy, I hope you and Ted sell a ton of songs. Thanks, everybody, for this thread. WHAT FUN!
  20. Good song! I'm learning that one for my two girls.
  21. Hope & Ted: Thanks for posting lyrics. I've done some copying and pasting. Darn -- these computers sure are handy. I agree with you, Hope. Living Waters was GOOD. I only regret that I don't have any of their stuff on tape. I played music with 1 or 2 of the group members after you guys graduated. I'm still in touch with one of them. Kristine is an AWESOME performer. I heard her do "Highest of the High" a few times in the early 70's. Back then, it was only 3 verses plus the chorus. What a voice!! I'm really enjoying this thread, although I must admit that I haven't read it ALL. Take care. Love to all . . .
  22. Thank you, D J. I'll write to him,
  23. I need to get a hold of Ted Ferrell about some music-related stuff. Any ideas how?
