Ohhhh Sparkly I got to be with my family... IT is the one gift I treasure the most. I also got a hand made pin from a dear friend. and don't laugh but a compost can for my counter. Now I don't have to have old milk cartons or jars sitting on my kitchen counter with my trimmings waiting for a trip to the mulch pile LOL

LOL Rummie not a bit... they are free to kill anything they catch... outside! I just hate the blood on my carpets. and they are encouraged to .. especially the gophers and ground squirrels and mice! My Magneto who recently passed ... she could kill a squirrel in 30 seconds flat . she was a fast and efficient hunter. The other two Lilac and Little one, were my mothers cats and spent most of their lives inside so they never learned how to kill to survive. On the rare occasion when they catch something they play and terrorize it, it is a catnip mouse to them. Death for any critter they catch is purely an accident.

LOL Best story ever. HEHEHE I have been known to rescue mice if they are caught in the house.. Only because I hate to see them toyed with that way too. The cats all know to keep their catches outside and kill promptly if they want to eat them LOL Mice and Honking big spiders... the bane of country living

A lot of times I forget that alot is not a word. they should also add perform and preform... two other words that people mix up a lot

Hmmm since I am not a young thing does this mean I will not like it? I am going anyway because well ... I am only gonna live once and if I have to come back I plan on coming back as a worm

Hmmm what to tell and what not to tell.... this is always a difficult decision and rest assured no matter what you decide to do there will always be people on both sides of the fence telling you why you should have or should not have done what you did! that being said... I never talked to my girls much about how I grew up or what I went through as an abused child.... They both knew I had been abused and just the barest of information... IF they ask I tell them about it but I do not go into great detail... but I have found that there has come a point in their life when what I endured became information that they required... Now the oldest she was in a psychology class and for the first time in her life realized that she had a source of information about some one who survived and came out on the other side okay and she wanted to know how I made it through with out all kinds of issues.. IT was a huge turning point in our relationship.. up until that point she was not too happy with me. Now recently my youngest had a boyfriend.. the second alcoholic boyfriend in her life... a nice young man this one but still an alcoholic.. We had a long chat about what it means to be an alcoholic and what my experiences with it all were and what my experiences were with the situation. Interestingly when I tried to tell her this stuff with the first boyfriend she didn't want to hear it.. So if I had to say when to share information it would be when it is asked for or needed and if it is not received then not to go further with it. Sooner or later they will seek you out for the information. Sometimes it is more important to hurt them a little than to see them killed or badly maimed in heart head or body because the information was not offered.

My experience with Corps ... as a twiglet was that many of them did not understand what their role really should be as a leader... They expected everyone to have the same level of commitment to the word(TWI DOCTRINE)as they had... They had little patience for the regular believer... and felt that they were superior. And when they ran a TWIG the people in the twig could tell they felt this way... If they were lucky they had a regular person around to remind them that their position as a twig leader was not to be a superior but to be a loving example of how to study and practice the lifestyle of Christ and the Apostles... (Yes I know this is contrary to what VP taught and I am darn sure it goes contrary to CM's teachings, I also know the one person I was closest to struggled with this and I am not sure but I suspect it was the reason we finally actually left..because the truth of what he was supposed to be went contrary to what Corps taught him to be) Corps was incredibly divisive, but how could it be anything but that when you realize that the people in charge were teaching a bunch of lies... and were following the wrong person, both of them VP and CM were angry horrible men. there was no love for the people involved in TWI.

A little background on the Story of how NORAD began to track Santa 51 years ago in Colorado Springs a Radio Station was doing a special Christmas program where children could call in and hear where Santa was at. The Newspaper miss printed the number.. and instead of getting the paper the children were actually calling into the office at NORAD.. The manager of that section answered the first call and being a kind hearted and fun loving kind of guy he just went along with it all answering the phone and updating the children on where Santa was... and the tradition was started. I thought it was such a sweet story.. and yeah I am an old softie..

Or recognized he didn't have it and actively went in search of those who did, to recruit them . How many of you were the real deal.. really wanted to serve God..That is what Donnie was .. someone who wanted to serve. I know I was .. I know that everyone of the people in the two WOW families I was with were the real deal. that is why so many people got hooked... not because of the class so much as because of the whole recipe. I know My hubby got hooked because of Donnie and his friends. I got in because of the two WOW guys in my area who were Corps on their interim year. and I know the people who I witnessed to got involved because of me ...not because of the class... They took the class because I sold it to them. The same reason I took it.. Someone told me about it and convinced me it was a good idea to take it. That is what VP counted on, to make it all work... those of us who really were honest. Because he wasn't honest.

ME too... It makes my heart ache sometimes. And makes me ashamed.

I think too he had gone to his/her twig leader before coming on and was told not to come at least it was mentioned in one of the posts. I hope he is still at least peeking in here but yeah toward the end there was a general settling down and starting to listen.. which can be scary when you have been told something is devilish. I hope he comes back if only to peek in and start reading stuff on the front page. I hope he escapes from TWI some of the stuff he was writing shows there really wasn't any changes in TWI at all. You can change a word here and there but the intent is the same. TWI SUCKS
