I have one and you won't like it Wipe that puppy and reload it completely unless you already did that. (you did already do that Right????) If someone gave you a used computer chances are you have inherited what ever problems they had. Antoher issue is that it may need some more memory added to it to accomidate the bigger programs that run now.. depending on the age of the computer.

OOOH OOOH OHHH raises hand .. some more good reasons to use firefox. When you post to forums and such you can see all your spelling errors to fix them.. and if it does have to shut down for some reason it remembers all your web sites you were at and will reload hem when you re-open it. always helpful when you have had 4 or 5 sites open.

Well the only famous friend I have right now that I talk to every day is The Drummer Dave Danza.. HE played and still occasionally does with Eddy Money and more currently with Greg Kin. Also Plays Jazz. which is his first Love . HE is one of those level headed awesome people and he never brags about who he knows I knew him a long time before I found out who he was.

Oh I don't think that was arrogance on your part... Even if some or lots of what vpw taught was not accurate or plagerized... it was one of the few bible classes that actually taught lots of the bible at that time(70's + 80's) and VPW in the PFAL class really did do a good job of explaining it so that you could read it and understand a lot of what the bible was saying. Unfortunately he was so caught up and puffed up in all his magnificense(in his own Mind) Some people here think he was always corrupt and maybe he was... I personally think that he got a lot of people calling him wonderful and believing his every word and he started believing it himself. THat is not to say that he wasn't a cadgey guy and wanting to get lots of money..

Poor Dorian ask a simple question get a whole lot of more than you bargained for. The dating thing is kind of a combination I think... you have a bunch of 18-30 somethings who really need to find a mate and settle down and of course there is gonna be some hanky panky. but add to it the fact that many of the leaders are practicing the complete opposite of what they are teaching and you get.. very confused believers breaking the laws and wishes God put forth in the bible.

As I recall when I was in TWI tehy did not teach it was okay to have sex outside of marriage.. at the class and twig level .. I believe what was taught or understood was that if you were "Spiritually Mature" you could handle it.. but the rest of us were not supposedly able..and I am pretty sure this was what was taught at the corps level because that is who I heard it from was Corps. The room mate may be totally buying into the I am spiritualy Mature and there are no laws of God that I need to follow.

regarding the lease on the apartment I thought I would chime in here, I work in a real estate office... a couple things affect the lease .. Who's name is the apartment in on the lease .. do you have a copy of the lease and on the lease is there an early exit clause with a buy out term on it? depending on which state you live in each state has different laws. It is possible that your roommate will want to move some one else in to take your place but any change you do with people in that apartment has to be okayed with the land lord ahead of time. You can't just move out and let some one else move in.. Well you could but you would be subject to legal action. So before you discuss with any one..like.. roommate or landlord.. read your lease. Also some rental leases only require you to pay until they get the apartment re rented.. but each state varies.. Read your lease and do everything in writing. I hope it all works out for you

Actually I bvellieve it is tied in with being a non profit organization... by charging for the class they were putting themselves outside the defiition of a non profit organizaion.. if they were smart they would have broken it up into cost for the books and cost for processing the paper work... that would have covered it. But then they would have had trouble with the amount they were charging.

Don't forget to leave your greasespot on the ground. My grease spot is some where between Idaho and nevada... some where on my way away from twi God took all the ministry grease off me and left it on the highway for cars and trucks to grind into the ground.

OMG the ash it was so choking where we were and it got in everything.... there was piles of it all around and then it rained and it clogged the street drains and flooded. and the mormons is what I remember about eastern Idaho that was so difficult... THey were very mean .. I have known lots of mormons but the ones ther when we were there cheranne wher not very nice. at least in Twin Falls. Okay and I did the cayanne thing One time and had to work for too long .. It worked it's way through my socks to my toes which were then in pain and then numb for hours when I finally got home and could wash it all off. I used to walk to work a lot and people would see me and stop and give me a ride a lot. which was fun as I met so many people that way. I wish you had been in Montana with me Cheranne you would have loved it.

Thanks I have lots more... I loved being a WOW for the most part but Then I was WOW before teh Ministry got really over bearing at least where I was in MOntana where we were really miles from anyone else. Why does that name seem so familiar he had to be in one of our states... Idaho or Montana...I just can't picture a face with the name. I think there were like 150 of us in Montana that year maybe more... THere were wow's in Havre, KAlispell, Butte, Helena, Great Falls, Missouls.... I know there were more cities than that.

Most groups have a web page where you can contact them directly and get information as to where fellowships are. people don't usually want their personal information listed out in cyber space due to junk mail and solicitous phone calls. If you typw the name of the organazation in the browser you can peruse their web pages and decide if they are what you are looking for. :)

Drwearword... I read everything you wrote and will consider it carefully ... I don't know if you are right or wrong and I am not as versed in the word as you are... I can see that this issue is extremely close to your heart.... I will add one thing which may or may not be correct or true or even close to the mark ... contradictions aparently are catching.... perhaps some of the translations of the KJV and thus succeding translations of scripture are influenced by the times they were written and ideas that were prevalent then...kind of a trickle down effect. These things I do know about God and Christ....I love God... and I love Christ and I believe weither I am right or wrong.... that Christ was sent to save our souls... will I even want sex when I am in a spiritual form... I do not think so, but so many things ellude me... I think sex is a thing of the earth, something to encourage procreation and bonding between two humans..I do not know exactly what the answer is to all this... I have no doubt you find what I say feble as I have no scripture to back up how I feel... I don't hate homosexuals and I don't think if a person is homosexual they are damed.... I think there are many issues in this world that we as thick headed humans do not understand. Will we ever understand them??? I do not know but I do know that We as Christians (No matter your sexual orientation) are called to love and care for one another.. To strengthen each other and to be a beacon to those we meet in our every day lives. I would hope that if we were to meet each other we could embrace each other with love acceptance and understanding. I like the part about the gas leaking.... blaming the dog is always a good idea in my opinion... TOo bad Mom's and Dads don't realize they need to spend more time.. kids grow up soo fast.

It sure takes away from teh spirit of the first church of acts when it is like that. I really am glad I left when I did.. And it really shows what happened to cause it all to implode. Well all that plus all the lies and deciet and general greed. I think people were much happier volunteering when they had control of their twig and had a say in what was taught.. What a shame that they never really understood that what people were atracted to was the ability to study teh bible and understand it.. and be together with other people On another thread I think but it might have been this one some one said church is a social event and your walk is personal.. yes that is partly true but we are a herd mammel.. and we crave and enjoy (most anyway) being together .. To me that is the biggest reason for getting together with other believers whether in a church or a fellowship. They really did suck the life right out of the believers didn't they.

I learned how to cook Beef Heart on the WOW field and I have to say it was pretty tasty... and cheap at that time.. Liver and onions we did too because it was also cheap.. One advantage to living in Montana the Liver is very very fresh.. Tripe is the ICK sorry all you crazy menudo eaters It makes your lips feel wierd. :blink:
