That was supposed to say "they feel they are the ones staying faithful" (geerites). I guess I shouldn't post after midnight !
-
Don't forget the "Geerite" groups. They fel the are the ones staying faithful while New Knoxville lost it.

My wife is studying the area of healing. Can anyone recommend good sources to check out on this subject ?
-
Hey Ted, I'd definitely like to check out the CD. You'll be amused to hear that in my church I apparently remind people of you ! In my case it's being the garage band musician playing with a bunch of classically trained folks.

Raf, the song you asked about at the start of this thread was called "Country In My Veins", it's off the first Branded tape. Being a rock & roller from New York I always hated that song and would fast forward through it. Socks, are we ever going to see the Joyful Noise albums sold as CD's on that "Music By Believers" web site. I've got CD's of Joyful Noise Vol. 1-3 and America Awakes that some one apparently mastered off the master tapes and passed on to some ex-way clergy, including my local clergy and I've love to hear the other albums on CD.

I saw this movie this week. Once you get past the opening disasters that they show in the previews it's downhill from there. It's about as good as a made for TV movie. So wait for it to be on TV. I think the old disaster films like "Eartquake" and "The Towering Inferno" were better. Maybe if George Kennedy and Charlton Heston were in there it would have been a better film.

I took my daughter and her best friend to the midnight premier. It was a very enjoyable film but they did leave some things out I wish they had included. Still, I'm glad I went.

I plugged in the Soundblaster card and things are going better. I didn't install specific drivers, I'm using the ones XP set up. So now that's fine and the only problem I have is that people forgot my birthday ! (May 12)
-
FYI, I'm running XP on a 2 Gig CPU. I'll have to try the Win DVD program. I'm going to install a sound blaster card tomorrow. We'll see how that works.

OK, I have a GeForce2 MX200 video card. I recently upgraded to 512 Meg memory. The programs I use are Windows Media Player and Interactual Player 2.0 ( I believe both are the most recent editions) The one thing is that for sound I have a chip on the motherboard. I take it I should install a Soundblaster card. That had been on my "to do" list but I guess I'll have to push it to the front of the list.

When I watch DVD's on the DVD Drive in my computer the voice doesn't always match the picture, like one of those "Hercules" movies. Do I need a better video card or is this a software issue ?
-
Hi, Could you send them my e-mail too ? I took the class with back in '77 in Levittown. Thanks.

Sorry to have missed your day. I'm glad it was a good one and I hope you have many more happy ones. -
FYI, Clement was considered one of the "Fathers of the early church." This epistle was written around 96 A.D.

Thanks for the answer. I knew there was a reason that you really didn't need "music" CDs for a computer burner but I couldn't remember what it was. FYI, I use Roxio's Easy CD Creator program. I got the Nero program when I bought a new burner but I've stuck with Roxio since I know how to use it for making CDs.

When you're burning CDs in a computer does it really matter if you use "data" or "music" CDs? What's the difference between the two ?

I apologize for the long delay. I finally got her e-mail adress. If you want to drop her a line send it to me and I'll forward it to her.
-
I was told by a friend that she's in North Carolina, staying with Art Poling & his wife. I'm still working on that adress.
-
She was living in Kansas for awhile and I think she recently moved to the Carolinas. I can find out her new adress from a friend.

I just noticed we don't have an "Illinois" thread so I'll start one. I've been out here in the Chicago suburbs since the middle of 1985; first in Buffalo Grove, then Hanover Park. I've bben in St. Charles for seven years now.

Hope you have a great birthday !

Hi Ayla, Just wanted to say "Hi!". I'm visiting my parents in Levittown this week. Had a really nice visit with our old twig leaders here.

I play bass guitar, play in the band in our church. I can also bash out chords on the guitar, mainly for writing songs or figuring them out of off records.
-
Dot, what I mean is I have Joe's adress and phone number but when I did that last post I couldn't remember if the word was "imformation" or "information".
-
Dot, please e-mail me and I can give you what you need.
