David, I just tried it and logged to ezboard, then clicked on sites visited then got in. So if you're registered on ezboard you should be able to get in. As I said before, most of us are already registered from Waydale or the first Greasespot.

Since most of us are registered on EZ board from Waydale and the Cafe the site is not restricted for us.

I liked some of his songs. In fact I and some other believers were going to go to his concert at Eisenhower Park on Long Island when we heard the news that he had died in an auto accident on his way to the park.

Here you go... Astronomy Domine (Barrett) 4:12 Lime and limpid green, a second scene A fight between the blue you once knew. Floating down, the sound resounds Around the icy waters underground. Jupiter and Saturn, Oberon, Miranda And Titania, Neptune, Titan. Stars can frighten. Blinding signs flap, Flicker, flicker, flicker blam. Pow, pow. Stairway scare Dan Dare who's there? Lime and limpid green The sounds surrounds the icy waters underground Lime and limpid green The sounds surrounds the icy waters underground.

When it comes to Pinl Floyd I'm partial to the pre "Dark Side Of The Moon" era. Here's another Syd Favorite: The Gnome (Barrett) 2:13 I want to tell you a story About a little man If I can. A gnome named Grimble Crumble. And little gnomes stay in their homes. Eating, sleeping, drinking their wine. He wore a scarlet tunic, A blue green hood, It looked quite good. He had a big adventure Amidst the grass Fresh air at last. Wining, dining, biding his time. And then one day - hooray! Another way for gnomes to say Oooooooooomray. Look at the sky, look at the river Isn't it good? Look at the sky, look at the river Isn't it good? Winding, finding places to go. And then one day - hooray! Another way for gnomes to say Oooooooooomray. Ooooooooooooooomray.

On a lighter note: Bike (Barrett) 3:22 I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like. It's got a basket, a bell that rings And things to make it look good. I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I've got a cloak it's a bit of a joke. There's a tear up the front. It's red and black. I've had it for months. If you think it could look good, then I guess it should. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house. I don't know why I call him Gerald. He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I've got a clan of gingerbread men. Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men. Take a couple if you wish. They're on the dish. You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world. I'll give you anything, everything if you want things. I know a room full of musical tunes. Some rhyme, some ching, most of them are clockwork. Let's go into the other room and make them work.

Lindy, I tried learning sax for a Zappa influenced band my friends were putting together. I stopped after a week or two because it was not an instrument you could practice quietly and at the beginning you really don't want anyone else hearing you. I play bass guitar ( inspired by Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane ) and you can practice unamplified.

My wife asks me why I go here. It's because this is an interesting group of people and we have great conversations. We all have different viewpoints depending on when we were in and left TWI. It's nice to find out that things that bothered me in TWI were TWI's fault and not me being "tripped out." Hey RAF, FYI, Fred B., the last drummer for Acts 29, plays drums for my band occassionally and next month his son is marrying our piano player's daughter.
-
Raf, my folks are in Levittown ( lived in the same house for over 50 years ) so it's not that far. We'll just do a drive by, maybe stop and take a picture to show their friends here in Illinois. Wish we had done it on the last visit before the remake came out. I'm surprised the county hasn't bought the house and turned it into a tourist attraction. They could make a lot of money, especially around halloween.

My kids want me to show them the actual house in Amityville when I visit my parents on Long Island this summer.

PFAL vs. WayAP: Comparing "Foundational" Classes
TOMMYZ replied to Oakspear's topic in About The Way
Can anyone who's sat through Geer's class give us a comparison between that class and PFAL ? -
The other suprising thing for me is that I can look at women who are 50 and think they're hot, something I would not have believed when I was 18.
-
I hit 48 next week so I guess I fit in. At band rehearsal yesterday it struck me that when I'm playing and singing I feel the same as when I was 18. A couple of times I've been told "you don't look that old." How is one supposed to react to that ? The last time was when we took our son on a tour of Radio City Music Hall and I told thet guide I had seen Jefferson Starship there in the fall of '74.

I can think of one good thing I got from TWI. I met my wife at a New Jersey limb meeting in '76. We got married in '77. We've been out of TWI since the exodus of '89. If both us us hadn't decided to go to that meeting we would have never met and my life would have been a whole lot different so that I guess it was worth it for meeting her.

I've also been enjoying "Lost". I generally don't watch anything on network TV but this show and "Desperate Housewives" are two shows I don't miss.

Rottie, thought you'd like to know people are trying to come up with a new term to replace "Rez Sunday" since you know he got up Saturday night !

We pulled a cute trick on our daughter one Easter. One of her favorite stuffed animals was a racoon puppet. When she came down Easter morning, expecting a basket of candy, she got a surprise. She found an empty basket on it's side with the racoon inside. We told her the racoon had eaten all the candy ! She was not happy with that racoon, at least 'till we brought her real basket out.

I know Rod was involved with TWI in the early 80's. Does anyone know the whole story about his involvement ?

Is there a forum about EX - WAY offshoots / groups?
TOMMYZ replied to mdvaden's topic in About The Way
It's true that different people can be involved with the same offshoot and have different viewpoints. I'm still involved with the same group that Rottie Girl gripes about. Where you were in TWI can affect your views. In my group, which is considered "Geerite", it seems that the folks who still talk about VPW ( and are most into Geer's classes) are those that were corp and clergy. A commoner like myself, who had no status in TWI, is just interested in walking with God as best as I can. -

The topic comes up occasionaly. You could do a site search on "offshoots" or "splinter groups". -
Just saw the DVD and loved it ! I thought it was more faithful to George Romero's vision than the remake of "Dawn Of The Dead." Did anyone else notice that the music over the opening logo was from the original version of "Dawn" and did you catch the joke about "28 Days Later" at the end of the movie ?

Dot, I hope you're having a wonderful birthday !

That's all I could remember. My kids are now 15 and 17 and "Green Eggs And Ham" is packed away in a box in the attic.

Mr. Hammeroni, Would you take it on the train ? Would you take it in the rain ? Would you take it in a box ? Would you take it with a fox ?
