  1. But, no matter how handsome or beautiful you are, it could never, ever be a cute moot poot chute hoot. Shoot.
  2. I mean, poot. Does that make it a poot hoot? If it was SBD, it'd be a mute poot hoot. And if you were in an elevator at the time, that'd be a moot poot chute hoot.
  3. Secretly. Them revenooers maht be lookin' fer you, son. If'n I wuz you, I'd keep mah shotgun handy an' Ol'Blue out on the front stoop. O.K., seriously, it was just too cool for Hawk to give you that for a wedding present! Way to go, Hawk.
  4. Perhaps they are on a "wilderness walk." Or, maybe they tripped out? (Oh, wait. We are all already tripped out.) Thanks be to God. Up late grading, a-gain. Two more weeks of school, then finals week, then free-eee-eee-dom.
  5. Ooooh, I LOVE peanut butter cookies! Where's my cookbook? Strawberry shortcake, Strawberry milkshakes, strawberry crepes . . . must be Spring!
  6. If you want others to give input on your partial screenplay, you may want to consider sending it to them privately, rather then posting a link. It would be very sad for anyone on "the internet" to steal your idea.
  7. La, la, la-la-la . . . Up late grading papers . . . . Better get back to it now . . . . La, la, la-la-la . . . -->
  8. Fellowshiverer, I don't know. I'm not old enough to watch that movie. If I were 100, I wouldn't be old enough. Sorry!
  9. aaaaaaah-OOOOOOOOOO-gaaaaaaah! That's Corps, allright! You guys get your plumbing straight? I just love it when mah young people are busy with the things as they are the things of the Lord. Will you sit up tonight, praying and fasting? love, niKa
  10. mutter mutter grading papers and folding laundry Happy Saturday morning anyway, everybody!
  11. One of our sweet brothers has lost his Mom. Please read the Memorium thread, and pray for him and his family. Thanks.
  12. This is what we used to call the Dolly Parton Diet. She has been using this same diet for years, whenever she needs a "tune-up." No kidding, I heard about it in the early eighties. I made the soup; it's good. Good luck with this. niKa
  13. eeeeeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuu. What's this about Deadwood? I only really watch West Wing, and not even that, lately. T-ball practise, you know.
  14. Larry, my brother Darryl, and my other brother Darryl.
  15. Hughey, Dewey, Louie. (those guys still quack me up!)
  16. I miss knowing that Peter Qualtieri is on the planet. I thought he was sweet. God rest him.
  17. Well, I still say that Harve played a mean guitar. Remember, folks: the WayGb doesn't think that they're evil; they think that we are. I wouldn't mind sitting down with them for a beer, just to show them that we're really still God's kids. Imagine what they must think of us, to do what they do. As far as they're concerned, they're protecting the Household of God from people (us) who want to hurt it. HQGuys: we don't want to hurt the Household of God. We belive that TWI hurts the Household of God. I believe that TWI arose at the right time (the sixties) and rode the wave of anti-establishmentarianism of the sixties and the seventies. Once people began thinking for themselves again, in the late eighties and early nineties, TWI began to fade into the background of the American religious experience. That's just the nature of such a transient-type organization. Abusive leadership did not help matters. It's not your fault that the ministry is loosing ground; it's just that time, in the greater scheme of things. Care for a beer?
  18. Yes, I do think that there are real friends here. Most of the people whom I consider friends on this site are folks with whom I had friendships, or at least acquaintances, in our former denomination. But some of the people with whom I have developed connections are not in that category. They make me laugh; they give insightful responses to tricky subjects; they help me to remember my humanity in this crazy post-cult reality, and to remember my frailty in my previous way-more-than-crazy cult reality. Yes, I consider them friends. I hope that they consider me the same way. Exie, are you close enough for a Gin and Tonic some day?
  19. I hear you, Tommy! The little ones had to wear their coats to hunt for Easter eggs! Makes me glad that we haven't set out any tomato plants yet. What's the name for this, anyway? If we get unseasonably warm weather after Autumn's cold has already begun, it's "Indian Summer." What's this cold-snap-after-Spring-has-begun called?
  20. So, what's all this hubbubb about Randy Anderson? Inquiring minds want to know.
