Oohh, the spirit is here, and it's movin' me . . . Why does Santa have a garden at the North Pole? So he can go "Hoe, hoe, hoe!"

I'd like to take all this grading down to where the fahr never ceases. Where Millions are now Smoking. Gehenna. Wait a minute; that sounds like something that I used to put on my hair in the 80's. What have we got here, a counterfeit?? It's c-o-l-d here today, but I have my needs and wants parallel; I am wearing a muffler that's Fire Engine Red. You might see me waving it, if you come down to meet me in my train.

SimonSays, how was Dana? Did your eyes behold the King of Glory?? The Pneuma? The Hagion???? Inquiring minds want to know.

It would appear that Texas has beaten Colorado by 70 - 3. Wow. I guess everything really IS bigger in Texas!!

It was always my dream to attend the University of Texas; I want them to be the National Champions. My folks didn't let me go to Austin to school because it was too far from home. Little did they know how far away I'd be going, because I stayed in my hometown and became more and more involved in TWI. Anyway, Hook 'em, Horns!

Rocky says that his name was at the bottom of the thread because it was his birthday, and that he's had no word of being reinstated. He says that he's copastetic (sp?) where he is, and doing fine. I was relieved to hand back 80 large, graded essays today. I was ludicrously stupid to take up 100 more, which need to be graded and handed back by Monday. It must be near the end of the semester!!! Indeed, Finals are only one week away. And until then, my heart will sing, and until then, with joy I'll carry on . . . until that day, my hands give in the grade sheets; until that day, I'll carry on. After that, I'm sitting down for a nice stiff Gin and Tonic.

Oooh!! OOOOOOOHH! (Jumping up and down, raising my hand.) Could I PLEASE be a COP-OUT? Pick Me! PICK ME!!! *************************************** Hey, where's Rocky? Maybe he can only read, but not post yet? Because if our brother the Rockmeister could post, neither Heaven nor Earth, nor Dark of Night, (not even the Black Knight from Monty Python) could keep him from this our thread. Hi, Rocky!

Ah, mah peeple, the darkest hour is just 'afore the dawn. Or in Mr. Lingo's case, maybe it's all of January . . . B)

FellowShippedOff, Don't forget the black olives. It's just not the same without those.

Stayed home and cleaned my house. Tried to do a little online shopping, but the deals were not good enough. Had a nice, peaceful day with the niKakids!

Yee-oouch. That was a mightily inspiring post, Johnny. You may have the Pneuma Hagion. Hey, Fellowthankful, don't they sell turkeys in the stores there? You should go and get one, and some cranberries, and a can of pumpkin or two, and have your own feast this weekend! Teach the Mrs. how to make Thanksgiving Dinner. It doesn't really need to be on "the day." You're on whole different continent, so it's okay to be a little kitty-wumpus.
-
Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for YOU. love, niKa

Happy Turkey Prep Day! If you're travelling, I hope that you have a safe and uneventful trip. Have a wonderful time with your friends and families. Love, niKa

Last but not least, in case you've never seen "A Bug's Life"" How many roaches does it take to screw in a light bulb? Can't tell. When the light comes on, they scatter!
-
These came from AHAjokes.com How many atheists does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. Atheists question whether it's really light anyway. How many cops does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. It turned itself in. How many vampires does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. They like the dark. Good Monday morning, everybody!!!

Thanks, folks! She turned 32 last weekend. When she awoke from recovery, she said she'd rather be fishing in Colorado. Wouldn't we all! Love, niKa

Jessie made it. There are a couple of facial-paralysis side effects, which seem to be abating with time, but might not. All limbs and digits move, however, and she's still herself. She still has her sense of humor. Not bad for an eleven-hour brain surgery, and especially not bad for the second one in five months. Please pray that the tumor dies this time. Thanks. love, niKa

Nato, were you related to the Friedleys? I liked them; he was in the first class, and she was in the second; they took turns staying home to keep the children. Almost 31 years for me; Jan. 1975. I've crossed different horizons since then, thank God.

Our pleasure, ActsUp! Hey, ya'll: My sister in law is having another brain surgery tomorrow. The last one didn't "take." There's a 75% survival rate for this surgery. Please pray for her. She's young (31) and strong, and came through the first one like a trooper. I just hate that she has to do it again. I really like her; she's a neat person. THANKS. love, niKa

I saw this story the other day, and was inspired by it. Thanks for posting it.

It' so good to be back with mah peeple on this fine and dandy Monday morning, as we go on with the things of Life as we know them, little do the townies know that we are dubble-ought spies fer Gawd. Good morning, everybody! I believe that I dubble-ought to have another cup of coffee. Just the bottom half.

Happy Really Belated Birthday to Simon!!! I hope that it was a good one, and that there is still chocolate cake in your refrigerator. I have been distracted from this our board, because I journeyed to that Magical Kingdom, Texas, for my 30th high school reunion. It was a BLAST. We danced and talked the night away, until we shut the place down. Then, we went to somebody's house and talked the REST of the night away. love, niKa
