Pirate, I am glad to hear the movie is tolerable and fun. I have been elected to take several 13 year old girls to see it. They are all madly "in love" with Viggo Mortensen.

Mostly I just think the full moon is pretty to look at. And looking at it through a telescope it becomes all lumpy and bumpy. But I do remember when I worked at the hospital in the new born nursery that we would be full during the full moon and also the new moon. And later when I moved to a med-surg floor that's when we would get the most crazies. The kind you have to restrain and give good drugs to. So I can't really agree with Zixar's link. Even tho it's interesting to read. A bunch of us nurses were talking about this very thing once. We decided that maybe it was because humans are made up mostly of water. And maybe the moon works on humans like it does the tides. Ut then we were full of coffee and sugar so who knows.

Here in Texas spring has sprung!! The grass is greening up. The trees are budding out. And our peach trees are blooming. And my tulips and daffodils are up and ready to bloom. Spent some time yesterday getting my garden ready, tilling compost in and all. I just love digging in the dirt! All you snow bound peoples come on down here and we'll light up the grill and char some meat!

Way too cool!! A lot better than my telescope. But I did see a moon of Jupiter. And the University here has an astronomy club that anybody can join. So we have. Won't have to keep bugging you Zixar. :)--> NOw just have to wait for spring when the night clouds go away. tcat

Hubby and the kidlet are the musical people at our house. Hubby plays guitar, banjo, violin, mandolin, basically any thing with strings. Kidlet has picked up guitar from her daddy. Me, well I screech the violin quite well thank you. I can make all the humans and four legged beasts leave the room quickly. Except for our Yorkie she seems to like my "playing". She sits there and turns her head from side to side....what an idiot!
