When we had dinner at that Italian restaurant in Oakland, CA a few years ago you looked fine and your weight was good. I would have never known you were going to battle obesity in the future. Glad to hear you are winning the battle and are on to better days. Keep up the good work Mike. And exercise to include flexibility is a good thing. Keep it up.

Hi Roy: Happy birthday from me to. I hope all is well with you. Good to read your post.

Hans was one of my college roomates for two years when I lived in Chico. I don't know where he is now.

I remember going to a political conference where Hayes spoke in California. It was an all day thing as I recall and as the day wore on I remember being bored out of my mind. I knew it was time to go when he made the statement to the effect that if you learned only one thing here, it is that in politics the ends justifies the means. After he said that I knew it was time to leave and not return. And speaking of seeing sexual organs in his hairline I understand from a friend of mine who spent a few days at his house in Maine in the early 70s that Hayes had quite a stash of magazines showing bodily parts. "Hustler" as I recall my friend telling me. I am sort of more partial to Playboy. It must be the good articles. Fortunately, there are no sexual organs in my hair. Or at least there wasn't any the last time I checked.

My thinking is that when and if Jesus does return to earth, between the combination of Jesus setting such a good and honest example of a righteous lifestyle while on earth. And the low and desperate state that the world may be in, in the future when he does return. That Jesus will be greatly admired and esteemed in his return by just about everyone alive regardless of whether they believed in Jesus being the son of God and Lord or not before his return. Jesus will return a conquering hero and be loved and esteemed by mankind. Quite a contrast to his death.

David L. Smith: an introduction...
Mark Sanguinetti replied to David L. Smith's topic in Friend Tracker
WOW David, you lived in or near Yosemite National Park for 4.5 years. That is my favorite place on earth. Where did you live there? What kind of work did you do there? -
Hi Bumpy: How come you are in the hospital? I will be praying for your recovery what ever that may involve. Glad you are enjoying the Euro Cup. And to answer your question since I am part Italian with an Italian last name and since my first soccer coach was an Italian who played professionally in Italy when he was young, I have to root for the Italian national team.

I fixed the pages on my site with link above. There seems to be a problem with tables when using straight HTML code on pages done in Dreamweaver (a web page editor). Problem solved though.

Hi Mark: I looked at your site and read some of your biblical material while eating lunch. I like it overall and think you did a very good job. Below is a link to a site that I did: http://www.christianherald.info I have to get back to work now. Let's converse later. Regards, Mark PS I just noticed some problems with my site when I added straight HTML to some of the Dreamweaver pages. My tables are now messed up. No time to fix this now. It will have to wait until later.

Why I became an Atheist (or Patheist)
Mark Sanguinetti replied to Seth R.'s topic in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible
Not much time for this, but the lake of fire is commonly misunderstood amoung Christian circles. Rev 19:19-21 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. NKJV The question what is the lake of fire burning with? The answer given is brimstone or sulphur. Next question, what is brimstone or sulphur used for? The answer may surprise many. The word used for brimstone in the above verse is below from the Thayer's Greek lexicon. Apparently this deals mostly with purification and not complete destruction. Sorry, but that may be all I have time for. -
Hi Bumpy. How is everything going? After reading that article you posted. I had to check my little privy member. Yea it's still there. Got nuttin to wurry bout.
-
Sorry Oakspear, but you will never make it as a witch or the male equivalent, in my opinion. You're just not devious enough. Let's leave this job, in Christian circles at least, for the arrogantly inclined false prophets and false apostles.

That is a good section of scripture quoted by Goey Romans 3:20-28. In fact, the following verses that concluded Romans chapter 3 along with all of Romans chapter 4 could also have been quoted. They all deal with the type of faith (faith in God) that a Christian ministry should be more interested in. Rather than bits and pieces used by Victor Wierwille to promulgate the equivalent of witchcraft, while taking his emphasis away from God and Jesus His Son.
-
Excellent observations and points made Seth. I agree with you. Believing in God should not be equated with witchcraft and is therefore not a law. When it comes to faith in God that heals the sick and moves mountains to God be the glory. And I will not equate my faith in God or God's son Jesus with witchcraft.

What do you think the purpose of GS is?
Mark Sanguinetti replied to pawtucket's topic in GreaseSpot 101
Hi Excie: I hope you are feeling better. How is life on the East Coast? How is the weather over there now? Keep smiling. Love, Mark -
Hi Phil. Welcome to Grease Spot Cafe. If you think it is profitable to correct some errant Way International doctrine, read and then share the below article with your girlfriend. The errant doctrine of neglecting the head of the body of Christ, who is Jesus Christ, and replacing Jesus' rightful Lordship with a hierarchical leadership structure is very basic to the Way International's problems. Thanks for checking in and please keep in touch. There are a number of people here that can offer advise from a lot of experience in dealing with this group. http://www.christianherald.info/lordship_o...ist_page_1.html

Hi Flanker: How are you doing our Italian friend. As one Italian (or at least part Italian) to another welcome to Grease Spot Cafe. You have brought up a very good question with regard to the money situation. Yes, like George says, The Way Ministry likes to control the money. This is important to their power. Another thing of importance is their power structure and how unbiblical it is. They are not good servants to God's people, but would rather lord over them in a controlling manner. Below is a link to an article that I wrote to help people get an understanding of how heavy handed religious leaders do not walk with Jesus Christ or represent his ministry. Enjoy! http://www.christianherald.info/lordship_o...ist_page_1.html

Dot, you sound over worked and under paid. I will be praying for you. Until the next time. We love you. Regards, Mark
