  1. No one ever, except you, said GSC is a religion of any kind. GSC is not a religion in any sense of the word religion.
  2. In the conventional sense: to compel compliance. No one mis-represents here. HOWEVER, If one does, one is swiftly corrected by others or oneself. Sometimes mocking and jeering are are done for their own sake. Sometimes the mocking and jeering are invited, and that invitation is then obliged. Nope. That's not why I mock and jeer. If you go back and read one of my very first posts, I expressed how important your voice is here, especially as an interlocutor, a foil. I accept your position as contrary to the truth exposed here. I accept that you are in denial of the truth with a closed mind. I accept that you are not a free thinker. This sort of willful ignorance begs to be mocked and jeered. As ever. As always. Nope. Nope. No one here uses cult tactics, such as those developed and championed by vpw. This is not an evangelizing nor proselytizing endeavor. There is no outreach. It's an open forum for survivors of the cult of TWI. It reveals the truth of the abuse and error of victor paul wierwille and the freak of nature religious corporate cult he built. No one is dominated here. It's a hot kitchen, but everyone found their own way here. No one is forced to be here. Most are anonymous. No one's lives or livelihoods are in any way contingent on participation here. This could be my last post ever, and no one would care. Same goes for you. We were not invited or love bombed to be here. No one cares if we stay or go. If you want to start a message board for lovers of vpw and TWI, you are free to do so. It should be obvious to anyone reading these threads, apologists for vpw and his cult, though welcome, will not be received with a bouquet and a red carpet.
  3. What an incredibly spiritually immature suggestion. GSC is not a religion, like victor's contrived TWI. Here abuse is exposed to the shame of abusive perpetrators like victor and Loy. Conformity is not enforced here.
  4. Victor first taught this wickedness to his master student. In turn, his master student taught this wickedness to victor's beloved CORPS. There is no LCM without VPW. LCM was adopted by VPW; VPW's seed in dwells in LCM. VPW put oil on LCM's head -- OIL!! As every English translation of the Bible goes back to Tyndale, so all wickedness and failings of TWI go back to Wierwille -- ALL of it. A childish, spiritual immaturity blames LCM and makes him the scapegoat for victor paul wierwille's manifest contempt of God, Truth, Love. "Beauty is simply reality seen with the eyes of Love." - Tagore
  5. I absolutely KNOW this was taught, because it was taught to me just a few years ago. My “teacher” of vpw’s version of tha werd rejected Loy but revered vpw as the number three man in the cosmic order behind Jesus and Paul. This abject wicked teaching that originated from vpw and was propagated by Loy is one of many hundreds of pieces of evidence proving that not only was victor not THE Man of God, he wasn’t even A Man of God.
  6. Thanks for that clarification. Unbelievers, other Christians, whatever. VPW was an equal opportunist in his contempt and envy of anyone outside his cult. chiquita gwanchalay!
  7. Lol! It could sound Ike a franchise model. It’s probably not. This company still exists in Columbus, OH, but they don’t have a website. It also sounds like a crude MLM structure, or a mafia model or even a Roman Imperial tribute/tax structure. Of course, VPW keyed off all three of these models when inventing his religion and constructing his profit machine. The advent of Amway and the modern MLM scheme coincided with a wave of new pseudo-Christian religious cults, gurus and hucksters. The pyramid schemes and the religious fraudsters learned from and fed off each other. They also competed with each other for dupes. PFAL opens with vpw lamenting the abundance of “other” Christians. At that time (and maybe even today) in the Midwest, no Christians were more abundantly prosperous than the handful of families at the top of the Amway pyramid. This did not go unnoticed by vpw - he wanted a piece of that action. So, he started his own cult. Yet, another take on the truth of TWI and the sand upon which it was built.
  8. Clear writing born of clear thinking. Well done, Twinky.
  9. He learned where he could. It was putting it all together - that was the original work.
  10. Quote: He recalled that he heard a voice at the age of seven, “Well, I started up the lane again. And I turned to look at this again. And when it did, a human Voice just as audible as mine is, said, `Don’t you never drink, smoke, or defile your body in any way. There’llbeaworkfor you to do when you get older.’ Why, it liked to scared me to death!” –Brother Branham, taped sermon transcript, p. 24 Sound familiar?
  11. Holy shonta is right!! The evidence of victor as huckster counterfeit charlatan is literally everywhere. One doesn't even have to try to find it. It just emerges and arises on its own. The comedy.
  12. That human being either doesn't have the skills to recognize the bias or is willfully ignoring the bias. Bias sources are as old as, well, the oldest things. Are we willing and able to recognize the bias in a source of information? Are we willing and able to recognize the bias within ourselves?
  13. Not sure I understand the questions. To me, critical thinking is about honest, free investigation, examination, evaluation, inquiry, doubt. It's the opposite of prejudice, closed mindedness, confirmation bias, blind allegiance to authority or dogma.
  14. Right. Agreed. Lots of bullshonta on social media. But Bolshe said, “reading the internet.” I’m trying to understand what he means. Does he mean social media? It’s an important distinction.
  15. Hmmm… motivational tool? Not following…, Critical thinking as a way to find out. Short on spiritual perception and awareness. Late 1960s. 1967 or 1968. Someone knows.
  16. Even though I attended fellowship with an open mind and heart, I felt gross and filthy and exhausted within minutes. Within the first 30 seconds of the PFAL video, I knew that little charlatan was a fraud. Within 60 seconds, I received the 2nd revelation - that established it. Its so, SO important to teach our children how to be critical thinkers.
  17. How is trust earned if people are reading books? How is trust earned if people are reading magazines or newspapers or the flier announcing the county fair? Expanding on your logic: How is trust earned if people are riding bicycles? How is trust earned if people are eating mangoes? The internet had a goal? I find doors of opportunity open all the time while using the internet, but mainly because I seek the opportunity. It’s interactive. Different strokes, I guess. Victor had a goal of suppressing his followers ability to find out. Literally, their ability to find out about anything at all. One way he did this was by crushing people’s opportunity to pursue education. Russell and Huxley and Orwell warned of hucksters like vp.
  18. Facecrime... uh, I mean Facebook
  19. Thanks, T-Bone. I always find these vignettes of the "good old days" fascinating - and so, so revealing! (I read the linked posts, also.) The obvious question (you know, the one victor loves to hate: his anti-idol) is what happened? After all that confusion and drama and victor's cups running over with the fear of being found lout, was there no explanation? What better opportunity to clear the shonta from the waters! Real leadership would have seized this opportunity to clarify. At that time, the dogmatic, five-senses, natural, privately-interpreted, old man doctrine should have been taught with mathematical accuracy and scientific precision. Was it?
  20. I'm not making assumptions about what you think or believe, though I can. That's why I asked. What was taught to me in the class, and reiterated by you here, is God is weak and limited and fumbling and unsteady and incapable and always a step behind the adversary. I was taught that God is far away and incompetent and indecisive and waffling. I was taught he is a constructed image of a deeply carnal man's imagination. I was taught explicitly, and in the gaps, that the real power is the god of this world. I was taught above all that fear is the focus, not God. So much devil spirit was taught, so little God. That's why I asked.
  21. Indeed. Lots of asserted claims. Lots of descriptive limits. Lots of assumptions and lots of conclusions. Not one omni- modifier. Not one. Still, the question is open. Just a simple "I beleeeve God is...."
  22. Open question for anyone willing to answer. (I don't think Mike is able to handle it.) What is victor's concept of God? What does victor mean when he says God? What/who is God, according to victor?
  23. Now, on to the first and most important question: What is your and victor's concept of God? Focus. Avoid distractions. Compose thoughtful sentences.
