Donated!!! Someone else's turn now. Thanks guys.

I think they would say, "We have changed."
-
Well, I'm thinking I'll be marked safe from receiving a "Come Home" postcard. I've moved at least 6 times since my TWI departure!!
-
They are having 80th anniversary weekends out on the field and they're called "Living Victoriously today which is their yearly theme too.
-
I think watching a duel would be more fun than their Living Victoriously Today meetings!
-
Belle!!!! Good to see you. Hmm no postcard here either....
-
Ironically, it appears on the surface that twi has/is doing their best to revitalize themselves by going back to pfal and noe living victoriously today as theme for anniversary weekend, Way ambassadors and young adult rock?

Thankful that God heals and that it is not dependent on my "super powerful" believing. It's a load of pressure if you think you have to believe perfectly or you won't be healed.
-
I clicked on some.if. the links you provided for some of the men he "learned" from. Ironically, at least two of them were known for their same studies in Christian ethics.

Wild since supposedly twi has a tiktok and you tube accounts and people are really impressed to the point they are asking where fellowships are. I think they saw a remake of God first. I got involved in twigs so early that I didn't know what "worship" was until I left. Two songs by my day definitely just reiterated teachings, not leaving twi and declared how I was going to do "such and such" instead of thanking God for what He had done and for who He is.

Just wondering if any newbies are from these Corps. Been thinking of our time together.

Thanks skyrider for all your posts, they've been very helpful. Figured I should say thanks now while it can still be said.

Why I Wrote My Story -- "Insanity on Steroids"

Yikes! I never thought of it like this, but yes! -
Twinky, these furry four legged cats are like family. My mom ended up getting a brother and sister cat and they became mom's kids and were standins for her real kids that had left home. Always rough when they get older and start getting sick. Hang in their and keep us posted. Hugs

Just saw this so I am late to the party again. I tend to check just certain sections and don't often venture into open. I will donate tomorrow as I am in bed and wallet is downstairs. Mods feel free to send me a reminder as this older brain forgets stuff a lot! Thanks to everyone who keeps the coffee, Danish, discussions and lights on here at the cafe.

WANTED: Seasoned Ex-Corps Leaders to Come Back

My first thought, pay to help decorate the camp!! :) -
Well you will be thrilled to know the Way Disciple program is no more. Announcing registration for the Way Ambassador program. The best of both programs. New and dynamic. First wave in 2022. Oh. Yeah. The goal is Word Over the World because a new generation has to take the Word to their generation.
-
Allan that's too funny!!!!
-
Well, I guess they will have to do something now since they employ more than 100 people.
-
That was one of my favorites! Fruit salad, yogurt dressing, almonds and that ginger cinnamon bread. But they served it in the summer during ROA setup and especially the men really needed more substantial food/calories/protein.
-
As far as numbers, looks like they have a commercial on their website to come be on staff!
-
No, didn't say anything about actual numbers.

Saw someone say on social that it's the biggest class in twenty years. Then I remembered that they lifted the no debt policy for advanced class candidates. Hmm

The "Second Wave" of returning to PFAL has started

Enjoying it daily. Favorite is speaking in tongues during worship time at church. (Music is So loud no one can hear) -
Very true. I found it not very productive to think of the hours and years dedicated to the way. But there are wonderful things ahead. I don't know anything about daycare except back in my day a lot of moms worked part-time and would often watch each other's kids, especially if you were sharing a unit.
