When Did Way Productions Start to Suck and Why.
Grace Valerie Claire replied to OldSkool's topic in About The Way
Thanks! -
Allan, if you have 20 Grand burning a hole in your pocket, perhaps we could start our own cult with it! Just kidding honey!! Seriously, I don't understand the point of this new group. Are they supposed to be a new Christian group, or what? Somehow, they seem like a bunch of duds to me, but others may think they are great. I don't see them being successful, because they seem like they may devour each other. I would not waste my time, or money on them.

I didn't recognize MF either. I knew him years ago, but I do not have fond memories of him.

Waysider, you are so right honey!! I left TWI years ago, and I wish I had left sooner!! I do not understand why this splinter group thinks it will succeed, where as others have failed. From what I have read about this new group, they are clones of TWI, and TWI was one twisted, and sick group of people. Please forgive me if I am wrong, but it seems to me, this new group is interested in attracting followers, to get their money. I am so sick of that sheet; I think this new group is just another cult.

Is it okay to recommend wierwilles books to others?

Waysider, I thought the PFAL books were boring as hell! I thought they were poorly-written, and hated reading them. I got rid of mine years ago, and couldn't wait to unload them. -

Thomas, I agree with you. I find reading Psalms quite calming, but Proverbs are also quite nice. I know you can go to the Internet, and get help in finding great reading material for your walk with God. -

Since you asked; I would never recommend any TWI book to anyone!!! Not in this lifetime. I think VPW was a POS who copied almost everything he said or wrote. However, if his books gave you hope, and joy, it is your right to recommend them to whomever you wish too. -
It seem to me, to be the same old sheet, just repacked differently. I have no interest in this new splinter group, but I do wonder how long it will last before it falls apart.
-
Wow! I was in TWI from 1978-1988, and I never knew HQ to ever help anyone at all! Never!
-
Thanks!

Gee, Skyrider, I think you may have learned some things about money during your time in TWI! Seriously, if I was going to start my own cult, I think it would be a good idea to have 2 or 3 people count it before it was handed over.
-
No!!!
-
True!
-
It makes a great deal of sense!
-
I'll drink to that!
-
Yes!
-
I think I would still try to be a good, and moral person. Does that answer your question?
-
Who are they?? I don't think I know them at all.
-
Let's get started! But, I handle all the money!!
-
I do too, but not fondly!
-
But not with poetry, I can see!!

Thank God for Paul Allen, and his wife. And for the others who helped bring down LCM. -

I remember 1979. I had just gotten my WOW pin, at the ROA. At the time, it was very important for me to receive that pin. I lived in a Way Home for a year. What a waste of a year. -

I'm surprised that so many people put with up with this nonsense. I would have walked, and taken others with me. Why on earth did TWI need to know people's schedules?? For married couples, it was no one's business, how much time they spent together. Seriously, Skyrider I didn't know all of this; some of it I did know. But not all.
