DWBH, what was the point of those bands??!! I thought they were supposed to " Take the Word over the World " or some such Bulls--t. I never thought they were very good; they were second-rate at best. TWI did have some wonderful musicians like Stevie Kay, and CR, and JN. I never understood the whole concept of HCC, The Victor's, and Branded. Why VPW thought they were great was a mystery to me.

If I had know about all the abuse in TWI, I would have left years sooner than I did.

Money, honey was what TWI wanted from its followers, that and control of their lives.

Way, bingo!!! Yes, finally someone understands what I am talking about!!!! God forbid you said something negative about something in Way World; you were reproved( bitched at) immediately!!! So much S--t went on; if you gave your opinions you were "off the Word." FTS!!! It seems to me that much of the leadership lacked Common Sense, and Common Courtesy!! For example, Way Homes were a big deal back in the late 70's. I lived in two, and couldn't stand them. When my time was up, I moved out, and people wanted to know why I didn't live with "believers." I didn't want to deal with all the bulls--t. I was much happier living with unbelievers, than with believers. IMO, some believers were very difficult to live with, so I lived with non-believers, and loved it. Even today, I live by myself, and truly enjoy being by myself. Some people may have loved living in Way Homes; good for them!

Raf, for sure!! Hell, TWI was probably spiraling downward, the day it was Incorporated. Was that 1957??

Sky, and for that, we are thankful. I come here to make sense of my time in TWI; some of my experiences were great, and some of my experiences were terrible. I met some truly great people in TWI, and I met some real b------s.

Way, the more I read in the GSC, the madder I get at the S--t that happened in Way World years ago. Sometimes I think we were in a Dictatorship; and not free to express ourselves. How evil TWI was; I am so happy that so many of us left for good!

He sent goons to your home??!! He sounds like the type of man VPW would approve of. I don't know about NZ, but if someone sent goons, or Thugs, to my home, I would call the police to get them off my property.

Tzaia, I m glad that I am not involved with such foolish organizations; I would probably tell them to go F-themselves. Sometimes it is nice being single.

Gilligan, wow what a great post!! I was never in The Corps, but I do think the men you mentioned, built some some terrible legacies. They caused so much pain, and heartache, for so many. God forgive them for their sins.

Rejoice, that is true! I grew up on a farm. As for JAL, I wish him the best, and am glad that I was never involved in CES.

GP, you almost gave me a heart attack! For a minute, I thought someone was reading my mind. I too think Lynn should retire, and live off his father's inheritance. He is in his 70's, and is/was sick with Cancer. Cancer is not fun; I know from personal experience. About the blog; that might be a good idea for John. Anything to get him away from teaching The Bible!!
