J.E. Stiles The Gift of the Holy Spirit book
Grace Valerie Claire replied to potato's topic in About The Way
Rob, I don't think DWBH cares if people like, or don't like him. I think he has great insight into the dark side of TWI, because he used to be the Trunk Leader. I personally find his posts honest, and very witty. TTFN!!! -

Trump, you have the right to post your opinions, as do I. I think VPW was a POS, who should have gone to prison for what he did to some of the women in TWI. -

I think DWBH is extremely funny, and intelligent!! If you don't like him, that's fine. But I love reading his posts; they make me think. -

Twinky, DWBH does have interesting posts; no doubt about it!! -
David, yes!! If the top is rotten, the bottom will eventually rot also!

Eagle, at my age, I would be happy if he could breath!

Eagle, I have shared this before, but I will share it again. I attended a Twig in Indianapolis during the Spring of 1988. In May of 1988, the Navy sent me to Naples, Italy. When I came back to the USA, two years later, I had no desire to attend any Twigs. So, to answer the question, the Navy got me out of TWI.

The CABAL: Corps Assignments By Allusive Leaders

Steve, I was in the Navy for five years. It wasn't fun, but I did learn a lot from it. You are right; VPW would never have been able to summit to Naval Discipline. -
Way, I thought the AC was a waste of time, and money. What garbage!!
-
I think I did it right! If not, please let me know!

Thanks Rocky!!

Ham, good post!! I am a Disabled Navy Veteran, living in DC. I love DC!!
-
NL, you mentioned that you had a great WOW year. Most of the people I know, had terrible WOW years. One year was more than enough for me; Brenda H from the 14th Corps wanted me to do it a second time; I joined the Navy instead.
-
Ham, you are so funny!!
-
WW, you are right about CM, or JJ being allowed to go WOW, if they had the money. Thankfully, my WOW family was OK; it could have been worse. My WOW sister lost her job in May, and never looked for a new one. We were so poor; we barely had enough money to feed ourselves. I can't remember how many months rent we didn't pay, due to a lack of money. I lost a lot of weight because I didn't have the money for food. My WOW year was terrible; I was so happy to leave the field!!

Socks, great post!! Your mother didn't raise a dummy!!

Way, some of us did, and some of us didn't.

Free, wow!! I know you wrote this post, but I wish I had!! You wrote exactly what I would have written!! Thanks, and bless you!!
