Abby, some of us understand very well what you went through. Many of the leaders in TWI, had no business in leadership roles. They lacked compassion, and common sense. If I had problems, I didn't go to the leaders in TWI; I found people outside of TWI who helped me.

OB, if I had been in your WOW family, I would have left the field, the first time he did this. The guy had mental problems, and he was allowed to stay on the field??!! WTF??!!

Way, personally I don't give a S--t about GC at all. But, I wonder if the women that VPW, and other leaders, raped will ever move forward with their lives. I feel for these women. How in the name of God, can Chris G, and Howard A sleep at night, knowing how many women were abused?? They knew what was going on, and did nothing to stop it??!! In my view, these guys are as guilty as VPW. Some day there will be a reckoning for all of us; God will deal with them in his own way.

OB, you are so right. A man sees a little boy being raped, and does nothing about it??!! WTF!!! Why didn't the guy at least phone 911?? I hope the rapist, and the guy who witnessed the rape, and did nothing about it, rot in hell.

OS, interesting post. Why do some join religious cults like the Mormons, TWI, or the JWs? I think there are a variety of reasons why people become involved. Some of us felt unloved, and unwanted. Some of us had poor critical thinking skills, while others had low self-esteem issues. I think I got involved in TWI because I felt loved, and valued as a person. Others may have joined for reasons known only to them.

Penworks, great post! Thanks for your "insider" information. He did often give confusing, or mixed messages IMO. I think he didn't know Jack about anything, but he thought he knew everything. Numb Nuts!

WW, I was never in the WC, but I think VPW was a POS. He didn't know Jack about God, life, or people. So many wonderful, talented, and intelligent people were badly used, and abused by TWI. Some day God will judge all of us, and He will give us our just merits.

WW, Boot Camp was not fun; they worked your azz off. I don't think VPW could have made it through; he was far too lazy. I think VPW had opinions about things he knew nothing about.

Way, great post. There are a lot of different view points on GSC, which keeps it interesting, in MHO. It seems to me that these various views were never tolerated in TWI; we were expected to agree with VPW, or leave. And if you left, sometimes your character was maligned. I have to admit, I come here to learn. And to laugh!!

JJ, hello. My name is Grace; I don't think we know each other. There are many reasons why people come to the GSC. I come because I want to hear the truth about TWI. But I also come because many of the people here are bright, Godly people. Some of the people here are fascinating; some here don't know Jack. But it is an interesting website for people to express themselves. But IMO, people here can spot a Bullsheeter immediately, and they don't tolerate a lot of Bullsheet. Just my two cents.
