Way, I too thought the AC was a lot of garbage! I wasted my time and money on it!

I took the Video PFAL class in May of 1978. I took the class because I believed the class would help me get my life together. Now I'm learning that much of what I learned from the class was wrong. If I had only known this 40 years ago, I would never have taken the class.

BA, seriously I don't sing outside of my apartment. I sound worse than a frog!! IMO, TWI had a wealth of talented musicians. I don't miss TWI teachings, but I do miss the music.

Sun, I heard her do song live years ago. God, what a song! What a singer!!! That woman really could sing!!

BA, one of the few things I miss about TWI, is the music. IMO, TWI had some really great musicians. For me, one of the highlights of the Rock, was listening to all the great music!! I don't miss the Rock itself, but I do miss the music that opened the evening teachings.

What the hell??!! A lot of you Corps people didn't swallow all the BS that VPW came out with??!! I'm shocked, just shocked that some of you Corps had the brains, and gumption not to swallow all of his S--t!! I guess that's why so many of you went on to successful careers; you were able to use your critical thinking skills even while you were in??!! How dare you do this??!! What, you have the ability, to do this??!! How dare you??!! Don't you know that we in Way World, don't think for ourselves??!! Oh, no!! Not us, hell no!! We pride ourselves on not using our critical thinking skills, and swallowing everything VPW said as the Word of God!! It doesn't matter if he was right, or wrong. We are still going to swallow everything he said. Oh yes, we will!! Even if it ends up killing us, we will follow what our MOG said to the end of our days!! Yeah!!

T-Bone, I just want to piggyback on your post, if you don't mind. I too am thankful for the people who post on the GSC. When I first started reading the posts here several years ago, I was able to truly understand, and process my time in TWI. I thought it was me; I thought I was the one who was off. I couldn't understand why some things still made me angry, years after I had left TWI. For example, I never knew anyone who ever received any real help from TWI leaders. Now, I understand why. TWI leaders were not equipped to really help people; they were trained to obey VPW. Also I always wondered what our ABS was used for. Among other things, it was used to fund lavish lifestyles for VPW, and the BOD. Nuts, I would like to live like they did. Someone to cook, and clean for me. Wash my clothes, and drive me various places; what a great way to live!! I could go on, but my point is that so much of our ABS was wasted on lavish lifestyles for VPW, and his inner circle. Now I am finally able to understand that much of what was done in TWI was evil, and not in our best interests. If I had understood this Years ago, I would have saved myself a lot of confusion, and doubt.

Chock, bingo! God forbid if TWI had openly admitted they didn't have power to help people. I think many of us would have left, and taken our ABS with us. I strongly believe that money was the reason why VPW started TWI; he wanted an organization that would provide him with a lot of money; in that way I believe VPW was successful. He didn't care if people were used, or exploited; as long as he had their money.

Twinky, bingo!! Yes, it does sound like BS, doesn't it!! I can't remember if I read LL; I thought many of TWI books were poorly-written, and boring. I used to read them to put me to sleep; that's how bad many of them were. I junked my TWI books years ago, and was happy to do so.

WW, I don't know the author myself. The name of the he play he was watching when he was killed in 1865, was "Our American Cousin."
