True!! Chess is one game that is way over my head. I know people who love it. I think I read that chess was invented in India, something to do with teaching people about combat.

Sky, your posts are a continual delight to me!! I think in the end he knew he had failed, in a major way. I think he may have been afraid to face God; he knew he had strayed far from the Word. Someday all of us will have to face God for our actions in this world. I think at the end of his life, VPW knew that he would have to face God, and be held accountable for his behavior. I know that someday God will hold me accountable for my actions; thus everyday I attempt to treat people in a manner that is acceptable, and pleasing to God.

Oftentimes in a horrible way. Hitler was a great example of that. Bol, you are so right; our interactions with others does affect our reality.

Bol, I think he was allowed to get away with bullying, because he was surrounded by "yes" men. Many of his inner circle tolerated his behavior to curry favor with him. I think bullies are often insecure individuals with low self-esteem. I think this was true of VPW, and many of the people he surrounded himself with.

Way, I was often bullied in school, but I was bullied much more at home, by my brothers. I think we as adults, need to teach our kids that bulling is wrong, and unacceptable behavior.
