  1. Ex10, I grew up on a farm, I know Cows--t when I see, or hear it.
  2. WW, I wonder how " young" the girls were. One young man, and four young women??!!
  3. WW, even as a young man, VPW knew he wasn't qualified to minister to others. Even then he knew he was a fake.
  4. WW, I know these are old threads, but I think they are very interesting. Thanks for posting them!
  5. Ham, good post! Who knew you were a poet!
  6. Act2, great post! Very, clever!!
  7. DWBH, thanks again for the information. Shalom!!
  8. DWBH, if they knew all the garbage than happened when Craig was in charge, and did nothing about it, they have no business starting another group. Nuts to them; I want nothing to do with them.
  9. DWBH, OMG!!! I am so sorry!! I did NOT know all this about Vince; truly I did not! If I had, I would NEVER have defended him. My bad; please accept my apologies. Truly I apologize to everyone here at the GSC, for defending him!! If I had known all of this, I would have written him off years ago! Thanks DWBH, for your insight!!
  10. Chock, I agree that Sky is a "good man". But, I think perhaps some of the Region leaders who stayed in their areas, are also " good men." I know a lot of people think Vince F. is garbage, which is their right. However, I attended his fellowship in the Albany area for years, and loved it. I think some of the Area Leaders stayed in their area, not because of ego, or greed, but because they saw a need to do so. I can only speak of what, I experienced. I think many people are/were thankful that Vince stayed, when TWI fell apart. Many people knew Vince, liked him, and trusted him. There might has been a huge void in the lives of many, many people if he had left. I know years ago, when I attended his fellowship, I went because I loved hearing him teach. My point is this; I believe that some Region Leaders stayed because they knew they were needed. The only Region Leader I really knew was Vince; perhaps others stayed for reasons unknown to me, or us.
  11. Twinky, I think Patrick Stewart was great in the ST movies; but once he left, they went downhill. I didn't realize Lord of the Rings were filmed in NZ. I saw two of them, and thought they were great. I didn't like the books, but I loved the movies.
  12. Twinky, I must say that I think some of the British actors, are far more talented than American ones. However, some people would disagree with me on that. But I notice LO, was British, not American.
  13. Twinky, thank-you. I was trying to remember her name; you are so right. She has been around for along time, and is a very good actress. She won an Oscar for "Mrs. Brown(?)" I think. She may be old, but she is a good actress. Also, I think Maggie Smith is another terrific actress; she too is getting up there in years, but she is loaded with talent.
  14. Twinky, a few years ago, I saw Helen Mirren(SP?) in the movie "The Queen.". She was dead-on as Queen Elizabeth. She won the Oscar for " Best Actress," I believe. The movie was so-so, but I thought she was terrific as QE2.
  15. Sky, wow!! I think you might be right. A lot of these men did lead Regions; and they did stay in their areas. Sky, I wonder why you didn't start your own group? You were a BMOC, in a way. If that question is too personal, please disregard.
  16. I did, and I hated it! Now, I stay put here in DC.
  17. GM, interesting post. I was involved in TWI from 1978-1988. Not once in the ten years, I was in, did TWI ask about my financial situation. I agree with you; my money situation, was not their business. I think I would have left, if they had stuck their noses, in that aspect of my life.
  18. Way, I think we were conned by a Master Shyster. Most of us weren't in on the con, but VPW knew he was a Con Man. Many of us didn't know we were conned, until after VPW's death. As for me, I didn't know for years I had been conned, until I found out about it on the GSC.
  19. WW, I wondered when someone would mention that. I don't go to a lot of movie's nowadays, because I think a lot of them stink. However, I did see "Spotlight" a few years ago, and thought it was great. For those who haven't seen it, it's about the priest molesting scandal back in 2002. How cow! I had no idea how wide-spread it was!!
