  1. T-Bone, I think your post should be framed, and put on the kitchen table, and read every morning. I too love my family, in good times, and those unbearable times, when I want to cut our family ties. But they have had to put up with my S$$t for years; I am far from being an Angel. I love my family; we drive each others nuts at times, but we are still family. People come and go, but family is forever.
  2. Twinky, if my sister was like that, I would probably tell her to go fluck herself, and then start a conversation with her. My sister and I have spats, and then a minute later, we carry on a conversation. I love my sister dearly, but we do drive each other nuts sometimes.
  3. T-Bone, please forgive me!! I was reading something out of context. Yes, I agree repentance is vital in a Christian's walk with God. Oftentimes I think of repenting as being similar to forgiving. Sometimes I have to work really hard at forgiving others; but if God can forgive me for my sins, surely I can at least try to forgive others for theirs.
  4. Krys, I think you are also right. But, I know I sin, and I try to make amends as quickly as possible. God is the God of Mercy, and Love, not of the God of Bulls$$t.
  5. Rocky, I think you are right; she probably won't do those things. But, speaking only for myself; I have had to look deeply into my heart, and I did not like what was there. I was willing to change what was there; not for me, but for God. Rosie may be willing to bulls$$t others, but she can't bulls$$t God. God will one day judge all of us for our actions, in this world. I want to go to God with as clean a slate as Humanly possible.
  6. T-Bone, "...change their ways"? T-Bone, many people don't want to change their ways; or am I reading something out of context??
  7. Twinky, you make me laugh, and think. Tell your sister to get over herself; I think you are a peach!
  8. Sky, I would think she might be forced to look deeply into her heart, and be forced to admit to herself that she has been living a sinful life for decades. She might be forced to examine her life, and realize that she is a total fraud. Wow! For her, that might be truly unbearable; she might not be capable of such a process.
  9. David, and Sky, thanks for the information. Sky, it never dawned on me, that teaching a "live class" would be so hard for VPW. Gee, wasn't he "The Teacher?" Teachers teach "live classes" for years, and years. Most of the teachers I had were happy (I hope!) When I asked questions. I used to ask a lot of thoughtful(to me anyway) questions in various classes I took. Can you imagine someone asking VPW a question about the Bible?? He might not have been able to answer it; God forbid should he have said "I don't know?" I would have thought that VPW would have known that he wasn't capable of teaching a real class, and not pretended otherwise. Perhaps he realized during the filming of that class in 1977, that many students would see through his facade, and know that he ran a bogus Ministry, if he continued to film a live class.
  10. Rocky, you made me laugh, and I thank you for that!!
  11. Penworks, I know you have posted this information before, but please post it again. How do we buy your book?? I really want to read it. Christmas is just around the corner, and I want to buy it as a Christmas present.
  12. T-Bone, I haven't seen all of the movies, on your list, but I have seen most of them. I think you have excellent taste in movies! Pop corn, and hot cocoa please!
  13. Thomas, vomit emo for sure!! Why would anyone with a brain, and heart, want to emulate a POS like VPW??!!
  14. 49, you went WOW 3 times??!! OMG, I went once, and that was once too often for me.
  15. Twinky, I think a lot of former Way people would read it; I for one would. I nominate Sky, and DWBH to write it, along with RAF to edit it. Raf has excellent writing skills, as do Sky, and DWBH. Also Sky, and DWBH know a lot of the S--t that happened when VPW was alive. Just a thought.
  16. Human, I am surprised that no one has mentioned Harrison Ford. I loved the first two Radiers of the Lost Arc movies; but I thought the third one was boring. I have seen HF in a number of movies, and think he is a terrific actor. I also liked most of the Rocky Movies; SS is still a hunk IMO. I can't stand boxing, but I love most of the Rocky Movies, as strange as that seems.
  17. Human, I have never seen any of those TV shows. However, you have a good point; most people without TV's are single, and without kids. Cable is way too expensive for me. I know some people can use Rabbit Ears, but they don't work for me. Also, I am afraid that if I had Cable, I would watch way too much TV. I know some people think I am nuts, not having a TV, but it works for me.
  18. Human, I have never seen any of the shows you mentioned. However, you do have a good point; most people who don't have T.V.s,
  19. Human, Mel Brooks produced The Elephant Man, I believe. Good movie, but it was a serious movie, about a man with a serious Medical Condition. I would not suggest watching it by yourself; I think it is a movie that was meant to be shared with others.
  20. Human, SotL scared the Hell out of me!! Too gory for me, but I thought Anthony Hopkins deserved his Oscar! What an actor!!
