Mike, I think VPW was perhaps the greatest liar who ever lived. He pretended to love God, then lived like the Devil himself.

Soc, what a good question!! No where in The Word, have I ever read that JC lied. Yet, he was a man. JC was kind, and compassionate, yet also truthful when he needed to be. I personally think your question is one for a Biblical Scholar, which I am not. What a great question Soc; does anyone know the answer?

Sky, how wonderful for The Way of Canada, to pay for someone's teeth to be fixed. If only, TWI had done similar things for its followers in the USA. Never did I know of anyone being helped by TWI, not once.

DWBH, wow!! What a post! IMO, VPW was a POS, his entire life. I think the locals knew that he was Garbage, and that didn't change when he became a minister. I think if the townspeople had such a low opinion of me, I would have left the area, and started fresh some where else.

Soc, good post! I think if the majority of his followers, had known the extent of his evilness, they would have left, years before they did, and taken their money with them. I think VPW, covered his tracks, to avoid this from happening. Money was VPW's true God, IMO.

Raf, thank God people are finally able to speak out about Sexual Abuse. It's about damn time!! However, I think it is one thing to accuse a person of Sexual Abuse, and another thing to prove it. It seems to me, many men nowdays, are being accused of Sexual Misconduct, but are they are guilty of it? Perhaps some are, but what about the ones who are innocent? Personally, I would be very, very careful about accusing someone, male or female, about Sexual Abuse. False accusations could ruin someone's life. However, the victims of Sexual Abuse, should have some form of justice, so that they can begin the healing process. For many victims, the healing process will take years, and years for them to process, and they will be left with shattered lives.

Mike, I think Abraham Lincoln was right: we can be as happy as we choose to be.

Mike, I too feel very fortunate that TWI effected me very little. But, I know that many people in TWI were badly hurt by their experiences in the cult. I feel for them, and their families.

Mike, feel free to post, but I think it's what you post, that irritates me. It seems to me, that you keeping posting the same old garbage, in different ways.
