  1. Sastian, you must be a new member. If there is "a lot of venom here," its because a lot of people "here," got hurt so badly in TWI. I love coming to this site, because I see a lot of hope, and healing. I hope your time here, is a hopeful, and helpful one for you.
  2. 2112, it was like that 40 years ago, or more. BS is still BS; no matter what year it is.
  3. DWBH, I had enough JBS at the AC back in 1985; I hated it then, and I hate it now. I personally do not want to waste my time on anyone who is a VPW "Wannabe." If others want to support them, and listen to their Donkey Dung, so be it. Ten years in TWI, was more than enough for me.
  4. Taxi, VF was BIG in TWI. DWBH has had some intresting things to say about Vince. Personally, I like Vince; he is bright, and very personable. But, I stay away from any splinter groups-as far away as possible. Vince has his Living Hope Ministry in Latham, New York. His son Sean helps him run it. He has a lot of former TWI members in his ministry. I used to attend fellowships there.
  5. Me, hello! The GSC is an intresting site; I hope that it can help you understand your time in TWI
  6. Sky, so true! TWI did glorify the devil, over God. I always thought they should have glorified God, over the devil. Perhaps they used scare tactics to keep the faithful, on a straight line??
  7. Taxi, thanks for your post. I had more than enough of VPW, when I was in TWI. I don't need to waste any more time on that POS.
  8. Sky, I know you have heard this before, but I can't thank you enough for your contributions to the GSC. I know you, and your family went through Hell while in TWI, but many of us have learned from your experiences. For that learning, many of here at the GSC, are grateful.
  9. Sky, my life is so much better now, than it was when I was in "TWI." I am free to be ME! My life is my own; and I can make my own decisions. How knew life could be this good??!!
  10. Taxi, good for you!! I think you are on "the right path." Keep going, Honey! I think you might be recovering from your TWI mindset.
  11. DWBH, excellent post!! I wish I had these truths 40 years ago; I would have left TWI much sooner than I did!
  12. Way, you are so right! My stuffed dog gives me more pleasure, than TWI did. And she doesn't ask me for money.
  13. WW, I did not know there was a first AOTS, without LCM. Thanks for the information.
  14. Taxi, yes your perspective was correct. I remember all the attention that AOTS received in TWI. LCM was very proud of "his baby." Personally, I thought it odd that Craig, a non-dancer, was the star of it. But, then I throught the whole production was boring, and a huge waste of resources. But, if you were in a leadership position, you were expected to talk it up, and get excited about it. And if you were in TWI, you were expected to watch it, and get all giddy about it. Nuts!!
  15. Jay, how right you are! Unlike many of the leaders of TWI, DWBH never exploited those around him, for personal gain. DWBH had/has a strong moral compass; no one can accuse him pimping for VPW, or LCM. I love DWBH's posts; I find them well-written, and very informative. Sometimes, they make me laugh. But, I know DWBH knew many of the top dogs, in TWI, and what they did behind the scenes. IOWs, DWBH knew many of the leaders, and what they did in their personal lives. I am so glad that DWBH is willing to share his experiences of TWI, with us. The more I learn about TWI, the more thankful I am, that I left.
  16. DWBH, thanks for the background information. The one book "TWI" book, I enjoyed reading was "JCOPS." I loved it!! It was well-written, and very educational. I can't believe VPW kicked the three writers out; they were very bright, talented men. I am so happy for them, that they went on, and had successfull teaching carrerrs. Unlike VPW, they were the real deal, and were able to teach others. Good for them.
