Yes, the military is wild with acronyms (they actually have an acronym encylopedia) but the REV acronym was devised by STF (Revised English Version); I never ordered it, I just print it out by the books since it changes so often with new research. Sometimes I just read it on line. Hey, Taz, we should continue this discussion on the Biblical discussion site as "Kermit" suggested.

I do believe that I had admitted (in a different forum possibly) to have been in the wrong forum for the discussions that I wanted about information. Yes, the TWI forum was not a place to address those desires I have about Biblical discussion. I am not a defender of TWI, I in fact have alot of reasons to dis on TWI but desire not to do so - not really much profit in that. What I have found out about mis-posting on the wrong forum is how vicious folks can get about defending TWI - and I really don't care, dis all you want, you would probably find me in your back-court. What else did I learn by my mistake: anti-TWI folk have in essence turned themselves into a "sort" of cult, nah, cult is too strong of a word, just an anti-TWI click - 1st: don't defend TWI or else you will get piled on, 2d: stick together in your anti-TWI rehtoric and 3d: plan to exclude said individual. You see, maybe an opposing voice to the anti-TWI concept is a good thing for self relection of how a group interacts somewhat like a cult or click of folks. I though, am not your adversary. Go back an read your posts. I do want to stay on this site but if it is determined that I must be excommunicated - I will accept that.

Hey Raf and Kermitt (Waysider, don't mind if I call you Kermitt - any parts of you smell like pork) All aside, here's my question: I have been speaking in tongues since 1972 (what's that, 40 some years) and my tonuge/s change quite frequently and have done so over the years and decades. I SIT alot, often outloud when alone, sometimes just at the lips and more often, prior to making it that far. I do "hear" the words in the ol'e noggin (no, not hearing voices). So,if the Bible says that it is a manifesttion than is it real? Now, I do remember all about those "starter words" and that is a mind thing; I recall how many folks started their tongues the same way that VP did (la shanta). I spoke in tongues prior to completing the PFAL class; that's another story. So, do either of you still SIT, I think I know that answer, in part. I have not read this whole thread but just needed to ask, maybe had I read the whole thing I would have gotten my answer. Raf, you sorry you ever gave me access? My goal is purely personal, saying that makes me think myself self-centered since I have nothing to add but only take - yes, I am then. Can you suggest anything that I can give to help.

Rocky, et.al., I have been in the wrong forum, excuse the mistake. Regardless, all I said was sincere. Did I touch a nerve here, really, "two spits". If nothing matters anymore, than why give two spits, why even communicate with folks still in the search, any of us can deny as much as we want but fact/truth be, we are all in the hunt. Rocky, where do you get off calling anyone insincere when you yourself don't even care anymore, change your motto to: This Dog Don't Hunt. Rocky, I am here for assistance. I, nor do I think anyone else at this period in time, need assistance in avoiding or recovering from a cult, i.e., TWI. Are we not beyond that era of our lives or am I wrong, is GSC still a haven for understanding of the poor folk escaping TWI? I came here because I thought it harbored some minds that were knowledgable about the Bible, instead I have found mostly crying ex-corp folk who are unwilling to share knowledge and who would rather wollow in pitty for wrongs that are far in the past. Now I have asked, what do any of you enlightened ones know about the questions I have asked, starting with the REV by the STF. Yes, I am frustrated with you all, think of all the $ I sent to you while in the Corp, I want some pay back or are all of you corp folk incapable of that simple request or is it that you all just gave up, kids you still are.

So, Rocky, you pretty much assumee that stupidity prevails and you are our savior from it. Your warnings are appreciated. You are left with nothing brother. Is it possible to have beliefs, and fellowship without cult. Your speech is desperation, not really a warning. What do you seek.

Looking for Terri Baker: I was a WOW with her in Oshkosh in 1974-75 in Oshkosh, WI. I sponsored her but never heard back. As long as I am asking, anybody ever hear of Cathy Geisler, she was our branch leader in Oshkosh, WOW year 74/75 (her 4th Corp interim year). Here is another, Jerry Fulmer, think that I also sponsered him for the 6th Corp.

Sorry Word Wolf (nice handle, are you really a wolf for the word?) but I don't think folks here really care about the word anymore, they just want to bitch about the old times. I realize this is a site primarily for healing but is there any interest in discussing word things? In all my research reading and re-reading numerous old threads I thought that I read through all the anger and thinking there was a desire for the word. I think that I was wrong but I hope I was wrong in that thinking. I have no intent to judge (like I have that in my bag of tricks) - if this site is what it is, then that's how it will end: Bitch Site, spewing your heart is not necessarily a healing process. I love my s&b's and I invite them.

Mr. Pawtucket, it is now 2015 and I realize the request is 4 years old but I want to know: what is your intent with the photos. Given you are seemingly concerned with only leadership folk, I do not anticipate something on the positive side, are you looking to dis folks? Please, re-evaluate your heart, there is a better way to get your point acrosse to help folk. If this is a revenge site against sisters and brothers (past or present) I will not participate. Who knows if you are even here to respond. We have all been hurt, but must we continue to inflictt. It's time to seak healing and move on in our lives and work the word.

Your advice is appreciated. I have juiciey TWI stuff but that ain't why I am here, I am looking for some intercourse on Biblical stuff. It seems that if I don't crap on TWI or the STF than nobody cares. It's just pretty much a bitch site and folks are not really focused on the word. I think that I made a mistake coming here for discussion on the things that matter. Yes, be patient, but I see folks hit the site but nobody wants to discuss the word. I don't know about you but I think I am just dealing with ....ed off kids. I say kids cause I see folk in corp years past 10 - they have nothing for me other than how they were wronged - dang Raf, I got it too but earlier than they. I would like some feedback from folks who have read the REV or who were even involved in the research. I realize that some folks on GSC have no (P) love for John.S but if you respond, I would appreciate it if you would keep it objective (I may be a newbie but have read past threads). If you want to get to a specific area, I would only suggest, chapter of 11 of the gospel of John regarding the raising of Lazarus.

It was not the first time I had been to the Mormon establishment in SLC, UT but this last time was quite an eye opener. I was in the main hall of the historical area and studying quite intensly the miniature (not really that miniature) layout of Jerusalem. I was approached by this hot female (all the other females there were quite attractive - not males that I saw). We had a good discussion, she noted that I was taking quite an interest in the diamarama (if that's correct). We spoke for quite a while but having witnessed myself alot, I did not allow her an "IN". I think that it was just a bout of witnessing wits. So what is the BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): that organizations use sex to sell - somewhat hipochritical (I made up that word). So, when we were in TWI, did we not pick up on that marketing technique. Shoot, it was prevelant in the military: watch military adds, we are all babes. So, the BLUF is: the end justifies the means. You always knew that if you went witnessing together with a babe you got more guys to come to twig but then you (or she) had to back walk but sometimes - IT WORKED!! Now my question is: do you think this "worked" in the 1st century or were we just (in our time) rationalizing. Sorry, I got off topic.

Having know and trusted loved ones who commit horific acts is not only relegated to TWI or similar organizations. It's power, it happens in families, businesses and the military. It's the power. Take a couple of our presidents for example. What hurts is when it hits home - we think we should have been able to do things about it and then in the end - we get a guilt complex. And again, in the end, we have to deal with that guilt, over and over, and over..........! Kinda like the death thing: Denial, Anger, etc. Do we all want justice or just plain old revenge - as I heard on GSC on a long ago thread: Karma. So, what emotion do you really want to wallow in, choose carefully, cause it will stick to you.

So Roy, tell me before you go, what's with the name: year2027? Please keep in mind, precious to God is the death of his saints. You know, if you are someone who speaks to God, then that's just one less voice that blesses the ear of God. No one has walked in your shoes but do you see what shoes we have walked in = we see the same despair in the world and in our own lives as far as that goes - don't feel that you are that much different than the rest of the folks who believe God. As for me, I would just want to hang around for the rest of the movie and not walk out on it, but that's just me.

Thanks Raf, I believe that you understand my intentions for wanting to joint GSC. Prior to joining I had read through alot of the threads (and reread to ensure I understood the intent/s) There are alot of knowledgable folks on the site and I need to ferret out as much fact, opinion and hopefully, some truth as I am on my search for the best source of that ever ellusive thing: truth. I have a pretty thick skin (37 years military and have been chastised by a few generals in fact) so I hope that no one holds anything back - not going to hurt my feelings. I used to, and probably still do, look up to the opinions of the WOW field folks, Corp, etc. I really want to hear some feedback on JS's research (REV)and JAL's teachings/books, etc. Just because you have chosen your current path Raf, it does not mean that I would not appreciate your op-ed. I suppose that if I have a consideration on a portion of the REV then it is best to start a forum thread: yes/no? I appologize (again) for not being familiar with the replying functions of this sight, BUT, I will learn it and if it ain't fast enough, you (all) can go ballistic on me (a certain amount of chastisement has always helped me grow and learn - it's just a military thing). No, it's different than a TWI chastisement thing; the military wants thinking leaders.

Nothing in the recent past but am sure I have a few from back in the days before we had digital; if you are interested then the next time I am looking through old photo's I can pull some and scan them. They are pretty much only good for those looking to trip down memory lane - something which I have done a time or two. Part of the reason I got on GSC - to find some old friends (I suppose their are easier search ways to do that). I need to start a new thread for the reason I am here, information/thoughts on STF's REV of the New Testament.
