And don't forget what Walter always used to say... today is the only day of the year that is a command -- March FoUrth! So, rise up ye men (don't leave out da wimmin) of Gawd! And that hundred bucks... as long as Tut-ex ministries shares the wealth and uses the proceeds for the common good... -->

Simon, them would be Nolan Ryan's numbers. I bet you been able to do plenty of selling lately, instead of climbin woofs. Why I've forgotten more dry, no rain years than El Nino will ever know. Tommy Tutu, I had to really work hard on that musteriouso sentence.

Ohmygoodness, we missed Kit's birthday!!!
Rocky replied to Linda Z's topic in Birthdays and Anniversaries
almost everyone else's birthday... -
Most significantly, I recall hearing them say Bah-bah Wah-wah was born of the wrong seed. How silly. At this point, I hope all former wayfers question the teaching underlying the long list that probably is more fairly described as those who made Herr Vierville and Craggy jealous.

Nor do I have a clue (only stating the obvious, I know) as to solving this musterion... or is it... well, I just don't know. Hmmm... dost one thinketh that the Toledo Mud Hen from New Knoxville, aka personal trainer to minor league women's basketball teams, drive an H2? Well, KnotinKans anymore (garden veggies, get it?), It's been so long I don't remember the very large part... but I do remember you had a fine pair of very long, very nice legs... and apparently, they still work for dancin... your museum find sounds intriguing... one of the latest things I did that might stir something up - took a pic of some ornamentation cast in stone that decorates an Arizona state office building, built in Italian Renaissance architectural style in 1930, that has hundreds of swastikas on it. This ancient symbol had different meaning to Native Americans than it now holds. And, if Simon wants to see it, or anyone that visits the Phoenix area, just email "The Teacher...oops, not that one. email me... some folks here should have my email addy.

living in the phoenix, az area. don't know what Kathy does, but Mike is on the radio... Kool-FM 94.5 goes by a different name on the air, but last I knew, you could find his pic on the station's web site. Also, might find an email address on the cortright's web site. (see drop down menu at top of page) A google search on Mike's name brought this result: http://guhsd.k12.az.us/~apollo/baseball.html [This message was edited by Rocky on February 22, 2003 at 22:44.] pd@koolradio.com this is the only email address on the web site, that I could find. The following is what the site says about Mike's programs. He goes by the name Camelback Jack. I first saw him on a tv spot for a Christmas promotion that radio station was doing, in 2001, I think it was, but could have been 2000. Someone I knew in the 9th corpse was married, with Mike officiating the ceremony. They confirmed, by email, that was him. Fab 4 at Four Every weekday at 4pm Camelback Jack brings you two Beatles tunes, back to back. It's Jack's tribute to the Fab 4. Top 5 at Five Every weekday at 5pm catch Camelback Jack's Top 5 at Five, five great oldies that share a common theme. From "Ship Tunes" to "Animal Oldies", Jack's Top 5 at Five is a must hear! My hunch is this thread has at least 9 lives and can survive what would kill a normal or otherwise boring thread. And, as "Simon says" If it's to be, it's up to someone else!

Like Hope, I never was a cat person. My sister loved cats all her life. My daughter and my ex both love cats (almost reason not to change). BUT, my daughter, one July, in 1998 brought a kitten over from her mother's when she was going to be with me for most of the month (usually we change physical custody same day each week). I was taking some vacation time. The kitten earned a place in our home by being cute and playful and lovable. It liked my computer, and most everything else it could climb. this was a cat that over the course of a few months, it made its case that we could not keep it indoors all the time. eventually, however, a neighbor had his way and the cat never came home. My kid and I went looking at animal pounds and shelters, covering hundreds of miles in a week. Never found the cat. BUT, we found a cat that would choose us to host him in our home. A man's home is his cat's castle. Now, Monster Baby, the new feline sovereign, does stay indoors all the time, does not claw furniture, or climb entertainment centers or kitchen cabinets. He is a gentle, playful soul, that is clean, quiet and loving. Since my kid has to spend time at her mother's house, the cat helps keep me sane. A dog would indeed be more needy and higher maintenance. Poor Hills, we have learned about some of his fears, perhaps, inadvertently.

Of course Simon speak such, the kind of rain we had on Thursday, not seen for a couple of years locally, no doubt has drummed up much bizness, after his midweek day of rest.
-
I bet Simon needs a heavy duty blow dryer today. Or maybe he's doing his best impression of a lightening rod... Stay safe out in that weather, friend.

niKa, did the guy with the parrot order a Cheeseburger in Paradise? Did he have a Pencil thin mustache? or did he dream of Margaritaville?
-
niKa, Well, sounds like great fun and a nice place for a stuffy nose youngun to be on New Year's morning. I didn't watch the Rose Bowl game but figure it was most gracious of you and the other professor to wait before gloating! :)--> I'm glad the buckeye nuts didn't riot in Tempe. THAT game seemed to get a real significant contribution from the 12th man (the collective body of screaming fans dressed in red and silver). Probably some of your students in the game this year?
-
btw, niKa, did you and the family get to see the Rose Parade in person? That would have been very kewl... and some wonderful photos.
-
niKa, two weeks off, a few days like LEAD, except at home... plenty of time to think, re-evaluate the job and desired direction... sleep in. Saw deCaprio and Hanks in Catch Me If You Can. Incredibly hilarious. But THE college football game is, at this moment, at halftime in Tempe. Talk about Red... lots of snowbirds from Ohio in the Phoenix area this week. At the game, they estimate anywhere between 20 to 50 times as many Buckeye fans than Hurricane fans. I saw one sign on a local tv news spot that said "Columbus discovered Tempe" Otherwise, the big event (and the "Big Show" politically) begins Monday, with swearing in of the new Dem Governor Napolitano. Pundits are figuring it could take until July to negotiate a one year state government budget. All the while, Simon Z sweats bullets hoping they don't raise taxes for his woofin biz.... unless he doesn't care.... [This message was edited by Rocky on January 03, 2003 at 20:30.]

Situation normal, all fouled up....snafu (guzhoontheit) Actually, it's not easy being green, but for now, I'm putting up with it, because it is stable if still distorting perception. And you?

Which one was a Beatle?

Indeed the effectual fervent prayer of even one righteous buzzard is a good thing... but I think I'm going to end up having to get a new monitor. One of the things I have to do most with my computer is edit photos... can't do that very well if they all look too green... But thank you so for yer good vibes. Merry xmas to me, from IBM.

Watt a family! Makes me weep... or maybe that was prozac? but suddenly, you all look like green cards Oh, that's not prozac, that's my blinkin monitor starting to flake out. eek! At least it's not my mental health (yet).

Wasn't that the Italian prophet, Mal-AH-chee?
