Ah Simon, why dost thou make mine heart weep? Oh, yeah, you're wit is almost as bad as mine at times. Yo, niKa, tnks for the float... what a refreshing idea.
-
Simon, what timezone are you in? I figure you live within 20 miles of my home and it's about 11:30pm. Start a fight on purpose? Don't start sounding like my ex! (there, how's that?)
-
simon, that wouldn't be the first or second week of August would it?

I'd get a kick out of hearing from or learning how to contact Steve Hultberg's brother Mike, if anyone knows... Mike was one of us who became acquainted with TWI in the Azores, circa 1974-5.

Igothold, simon(don't deny it thrice), and ex-wowiewow, my favorite part of the name tag is the double usage of the ® for registered trademark. it kinda reveals the original motive, looking in retrospectiveness like we are...or were. Isn't it niCe that Professor niKa shares our humorous (funny bones) without correcting our englitch? Kids, where's tomturtle, fellowspider, and the rest of the brood?

Simon, "They" look at the times on your nearly 500 posts, many of which happen when nothing [else] profitable could happen.

Z, I think it's that Simon shouts it from the rooftops!

well, i found a picture to post, but am perplexed on getting it posted...

Tnks you Karm, I hope so too. My kiddo likes Tucson and parts Southeast from there. Her half-bro is just finishing up his freshman year as a Wildcat this week. I'm confident she will get along with your son and the other gal just fine.

Oh holy moly, what a visual feast we have today! And Simoneon, much to be said for desert trees these dog days of summer... after a wonderfully mild spring. Mine keep some of the harsh mid day sun and almost all of the evening, west side sun off of my house and evap cooler. So, bless mine, don't curse them, lest yours die the wrong way, eh?

o50nfree... Feb 2004, for a Saturday or Sunday, would be fine, at this time in my planning. And it's hard to turn down a free cup-a-joe and pastry at the Raging Sage. And in July, if I can make it, I will have one 13 year old female offspring with me.

Just can't wait to get on the road again...(but not to Ohio) [This message was edited by Rocky on May 12, 2003 at 20:58.]

no problem Z, and you did fine, nothing wrong with how you worded... I was just adding 2 cents worth.
-
perhaps the lack of response is because it seemed to be asking to hear from those who do have a problem with it... however, it might be nice to acknowledge, as Outin88 did, that it is a good plan. so, at this point, it sounds good to me.

Simon, didn't your mother ever tell you not to date girls named Lorena? Jesus (pronounced Hey Zeus) wept! [This message was edited by Rocky on May 10, 2003 at 2:46.]

I've had that kind of wonder...my stepson, a freshman at the UofArizona (college of mines and engineering, first semester dean's list) was 4 when I first met him. Hope it's not too windy near Norman, and that your roof stays on....
-
Hey Igotgout, Almost looks like you may need surgery on that elbow...

OUTin88, The one in Tempe has a covered patio, and they have gone one better than the misting systems for the coming warm season... they have three evap coolers in place to blow nice cool air on folks. Probably similar or same in Tucson. Besides being closer for Z, Tucson is closer to nice (and COOL) places like Patagonia Lake State Park, Sonoita Creek preserve and lovely places to watch lots of birds, for example, Ramsey Canyon, which is closer to Sierra Vista, is the BEST place to check out hummingbirds.

I'm a hope-in that much prayer and meditation, and scheemin and plannin will overcome the black robe syndrome in this case. It's one of those intent, directed, reflected pondering things... thanks. I bet the tattoo'd lady comes back with purple tattoos... that Lydia was some (one) foxy purple people.

Dontbeshy, The original pizza cookie. Tucson at 4900 E. Speedway http://www.oreganos.com My fave is the Bollopasta with Italian sausage. But lots of the menu is just plain awesome. The pizza is among the best one can get in Arizona.

Me thinketh some merry making fun maketh us more producktith. Gosh, Sister Ex, I'm a shaken, of course at the fun that was had today. so glad the semester over for niKa. My kiddo lost the first game of her softball tournament today so the team is eliminated. Last year they won the hole ball of whacks, but this year they were missing several of their power players from 8th grade. She's disappointed, but has the hope of being team captain next year and rallying her team from the start of the year. Last night, her psych told me she's doing very well (which I knew, but need to still convince the men with black robe disease). (Black robe disease, I learnt today, is what happens to mostly good people when they are ordained to issue judgements over the masses...In AZ it starts in Superior Court). Otherwise, things going well. Tnks. Perhaps we should all practice our cyberhandshakin... and I don't mean parkinson's disease.

Z, You and Zillions of others...love Arizona in the winter. And it's been a wonderfully mild spring so far (thank you God). Since you listed Italian food with such emphasis, then I recommend Oregano's. I know they have them in Flag so OhshucksImnotinArizona should be familiar. I think they have at least one in Tucson, and I know I love 'em (a bottomless or endless bowl of pasta for six bucks).
