Good golly, that Ahnold quote sounds like something our president would say (Bush, that is). I wonder if we shocked Sunny? Are we too wierd? And Simon, are you a Polish sausage? btw, Excie wants me to take pics of your tattoos so she can learn to stumble better.

Well, the last pic I posted was of Frank Sinatra. Can't imagine anyone would think it too suggestive and therefore needing to be censored. The second one is one of a Japanese cartoon drawing... of a human hand holding an item as if just obtained from a hot dog vendor, with the bun being a naked woman, enjoying the hot dog in the bun, so to speak. And FRANKLY zixar, as descriptive as your writing can be, your one sentence desciption of your particular "quick shag" is not much of a description.

Why are Wierwille's Sins Excuseable and Martindale's Not?
Rocky replied to Oakspear's topic in About The Way
Sunny, What are "....ed" about? Things in general? And please remember that it's better to be ....ed off than ....ed on. :D--> -
Well... who are YOU? Welcome, Sunny1! :D-->

Or maybe this is what you had in mind?

edited to reduce the risk of nausea. Or is THIS a "frank" discussion about sex? [This message was edited by Rocky on December 30, 2003 at 20:19.]

Is this what you mean about a FRANK discussion?

Simon, that's awfully vicious... in a circular sort of way.

In 1965, my mother, then a single mother working at an auto parts manufacturing plant in Rochester NY had purchased a new red Ford Mustang. She grew up in Northern Arkansas and had a boatload of siblings, who then had spouses and kids, etc. So, mom, my brother and sister packed into the Mustang for a road trip to Arkansas, with stops in Springfield and Nevada, Missouri. One of the most magnificient things for me was when we would stop along the road (it was summer, after all) and wade in creeks and shallow rivers that crossed the highways. It was such a big deal to me that when, in the spring of 1982, as a wow in Fremont, OH (outside of Toledo), I would take walks in the afternoon along a creek that ran through the west side of town, so I could pray. For about a month that spring, I felt closer to God and more focused in my spiritual life than at ANY other time... This is only one vacation memory and what it meant to me later in life. Evan's insight as posted above is very poignant and something I hope all parents get to do with their kids several times, even if not every year. In this 21st century, as a single parent myself, and while working as a photographer and writer for a small newspaper, I have been able to take a couple of vacations with my daughter to photograph some of the magnificient sights in Arizona. Now in 8th grade, she is working on the yearbook for her charter school and takes the pictures of school events.

Snoozing early, Simon? No coffee this evening? Don't wanna stay up for the rain? Talk to ya later.... No white christmas in Zonie land.
-
Merry Christmas too... At least it recognized you, eh niKa? Hope the raindeer didn't leave any other kinds of presents on the porch... if you know what I mean. So, who's having a white Christmas?

Merry Christmas, One and All!
Rocky replied to Linda Z's topic in Greasespot Holidays, Holydays and Heydays
And Merry Christmas from the desert to all, even to Rottie (who appears to be trying to tell us she looks like President Bush) -- and tnks Onion -- I hope you're not snowed in. -

When I was young, our pet beagle was named Barney. My cat's name is Monster Baby.

niKa, Good for you to get braces... you are not alone... I know a guy who had when he was also past 40. He was very glad he did it. It may not be any comfort, but I can relate to what you're going through. In 1992, I lost six people, friends and relatives, none in the same month. I had not lost anyone close before that year... so it was very difficult, and my introduction to grieving. It will pass. I'm sure you are very thankful for your family and support system... it is helping you already more than you may yet realize.

whew...? What IS that smell? Oh, sorry, it was Simon's last joke. :P

All of that said about CES and it's successor group that enveloped it, I think it's kind of a stretch to think the group is any more spiritually "tapped in" to God than anyone else. Therefore, it becomes a matter of whether you want to hang out with people who have some similar religious background as you, and how close or far from that background/heritage you are comfortable going (IMO).

It means he wants to tease fans.... I wouldn't read anything else into it. And I can't imaging both Manny AND Nomar for ARod.

I agree with simonzeloaded on that one

In the safety in multitude of counselors department (even though I'm only one more person for encouraging), niKa's insight is right on the money all the way around in that last post.

Cubbies aren't going to collapse as long as Dusty is in the dugout. I still see a Cubs RedSox WS in 04

Well Tommy boy, that would be a fine idea... spring training isn't very far off in the future now. Dbacks have made more moves... apparently signed a veteran catcher to a one year deal...he might be the guy that beat them with a HR in the playoffs the first time. And RE-SIGNED Colbrunn who is an outstanding pinch hitter and can play first and third bases.
