I had read, including on wikipedia, that it was related to contract talks that were never completely resolved related to next season. If you'll remember, Brass was shot at the end of a season (last year?) and lived. This one, with Warrick seems harder to overcome, but there is still ambiguity (cliff hanger?) we're left with to ponder over the summer. The problems with Gary Dourdan getting busted with drugs apparently happened AFTER they shot this season finale. The wikipedia article's been "updated" since I first looked at it Thursday night, but there's still no indication that the character has, for a certainty, died, or survived for that matter. I was stunned at the end of the show Thursday... which is why I started searching google almost right away. I never did like that undersheriff.

Got it... and it played this time. Thanks... :)

Well, Mstar, I wish I could play that clip... I love that kind of thing too. btw, Brandon Webb is now 9-0 in 9 starts! Dbacks won 8-5 tonight, Webb gave up 3 runs. I meant to say that the clip wouldn't play for me...

He doesn't say, but does report (on his page on the other site) that he has a fellowship in his home.

To a Number ONE baseball fan, and wishing and hoping, even more than for another WS championship for the Red Sox, for MANY more happy birthdays for you!

Right on! :D

Hmmm... 30 wins. Now THAT would be a heluva'n accomplishment. I don't know that anyone's brought it up in the local media or on FSN or ESPN... however, I would say another Cy Young is well within reach... and IF the offense holds up, they've got a great opportunity to go all the way. I don't know that McCain was at the game we were at. He was probably on the road yesterday. Keep him away from the button that dispatches the Big One! ;)

With me and simonzelotes cheering him on this afternoon, Brandon caught the Phillies in his WEBB and earned his 8th victory of the season against ZERO losses. It was the first Dback win we've witnessed in person since some time in 2006. As always, simon was good company to go with the great baseball. :)

I got the tickets from Stubhub.com paid less, WITH shipping charges than would have buying directly from the team box office live and in person. I picked them up today at the local Fedex office. The guy said stubhub's been doing business for a couple of years now. Well, I just heard of them very recently. Anyway, season ticket holders sell tickets for whatever they think they can get. Anyway, fans from other MLB cities might want to check it out. The purchase is guaranteed. If, for any reason, the team doesn't honor the tickets, stubhub will see about either getting tickets for you OR refund your money. Anyway, Thursday day game that will be seen in AZ and Philly... and me and Simon will be in the front row of the upper deck on the third base side... :)

You did NOT acknowledge your misguided characterization of my views. -

And for the record, since I deleted the text of my posts earlier, Bumgarner had COMPLETELY mistaken my views. I NEVER sympathized with Oldiesman, nor attempted to justify ANYTHING that Wierwille (the grandfather) did regarding the sexual abuse of young women. NEVER. -

never mind... and thanks again to Pawtucket for appropriately editing out threats made by another poster. -

thank you Pawtucket for deleting Bumgarner's post, therefore, I too remove it from here. -
Anyone remember Micah Owings? Last year's NL silver slugger award winner, the second year pitcher hit a game tying PINCH-HIT 2 RUN HR this afternoon in a game that the Dbacks overcame a poor start by Randy Johnson to win 8-7. Key word: PINCH-HIT! Amazing.

Why is RD not identified in the email or at the beginning of the interview?

Legacy of the Way Corps Principles
Rocky replied to Gilligan's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
Okay, so ssri's are not YOUR drug of choice, no problem, my mistake. You MADE my point. Thank you. Not at all... I can't imagine your sad that I don't go there to bug you any more. AGAIN. THIS thread, as started by Gilligan, was a legitimate discussion. Ham, on the other hand, has some serious screws loose and that other discussion is some pretty solid evidence thereof, if he (and you) want to try to make anyone believe it was anything but a way to slam someone that you really (regardless of whether Ham has met the young man) DON'T know. -

"rocky wants..."? Do you have ANY idea how ridiculous you sound. Look, you get your way without me calling attention to your insane ideas on the political forum here these days... one might think that would be cause for thankfulness. My problem? I simply complimented Gilligan and pointed out that THIS thread was about the ideas. And Ham's thread is about bashing a person without basis. Why do you say this, here on this thread, is a problem? Better up your Rx for prozac there rhino. -

doesn't matter. this thread is about a legitimate discussion. the other thread was mostly just nasty gossip. -

btw, Gilligan, I think this discussion you started is more appropriately focused on the actual and legitimate topic for discussion (the WC principles) than that other thread rhino mentioned, which is more like a judgement on a person that Ham (who started that thread) has never met. -
Dougie! Happy Birthday YOUNG MAN! Here's to MANY, MANY more!

I knew him... back in the 1980s. More than likely, he's still in the Phoenix, AZ area. btw, Randy, This type of inquiry is generally done in the Friend Finder forum. This forum, by State, is generally for locating fellowships or whatever else might be happening in a particular state in the US.
