The reason I didn't know the betazoid is that I rarely watched Voyager more than once, so it's not burned into the mind The quote sounds like Kirk and the earth colonel in 'Tomorrow is Yesterday'

The Deadly Years oh, right, that was just about Kirk turning senile

That was amazing, and for sure there were many cars in the parking lot as history was being made. I have to admit that I've left a game or two in the 8th inning if it seemed like it was out of hand. I would have been forever kicking myself if I had been at that game and done that. Baseball is such a roller coaster ride. Yesterday it was all about the Dodgers falling out of first, and the Padres having their number, today it's a whole 'nother story, and it's assumed the momentum will carry them to the series. I've gone to over 20 Dodger games this year, and don't think I've seen more than 10 home runs. That they hit 4 in a row, plus Nomar's, may be an aberration that will happen again when Haley's comet passes. I am going to tonight's game-I doubt it will equal last night, but I won't be leaving early.

I don't know what it's called musically, but it's the point in the film where Darby is trapped in the leprechaun cave, and escapes by getting the little buggers cranked up, while playing the 'fiddle'. Fine movie, 'Darby O'Gill and the Little People'-one of the best of the Disney live action films.

Burke's Law but maybe I shouldn't play ,since I'm a computer dunce and don't know how to upload these pics

'Whom Gods Destroy' Garth-the starfleet captain gone insane (of course, that could apply to most of them seemingly) One of the few watchable 3rd season episodes imo

George, the main difference with Green Arrow, at least from what I've seen-is that he's actually in uniform, which we'll probably never see Clark Kent doing, if you believe the show's creators. He already looks 30, and isn't even flying yet. They must like this GA incarnation if they've committed 7 episodes . Time will tell if it works.
-
George, you should be excited about the upcoming Smalville season then. Green Arrow will be in 7 episodes-he's trying to put together a 'justice league'. They better not wuss out and not give him trick arrows though.

clues-original series, considered THE classic episode by some, if the circumstances weren't so dire, the question and context would be funny

We haven't scratched the surface on old tv shows, though we've probably hit most of the 'big ones'. I don't know that song, cause I'm an old fart.

George is right about the details, but is wrong about the episode. I'm giving it to him because it might as well have been that episode. After awhile, the corridors, and cells that Kirk and Spock found themselves in became redundant. Why the federation allowed both the Captain AND first officer to get in these jams is a mystery. Makes you wonder what those 400 other people on the ship were there for. Spock distracted an alien guard in "A Taste of Armeggedon"- an episode with good ideas, and intentions, almost ruined by ridiculous costumes and sets. your turn, George

Mickey Rooney, Jackie Cooper, Shirley Temple to name a few are still alive. I'm sure there are any number of 'lesser' actors, but the list is growing thin, and those I named were child stars. I'm not sure what the Charles laughton movie is if it's not Bounty. A google search would answer it quick, but I'm trying to think of it-and my head hurts Love American Style was a good show. That was a place for some of those old time actors could find parts, as well as a venue for new people. The best part of the show was seeing who that nights stars were during the opening song. There was another show in the early 60's called 'Burke's Law', with Gene Barry. He played a wealthy detective who would spend most of the show visiting suspects and witnesses. The opening credits would list that nights guests in alphabetical order, and it was always an interesting mix of celebrities. The show was a formula, but it was fun. Anne Francis first appeared as Honey West on the show, either as a kind of 'pilot' appearance, or a promo for her upcoming show. It's the middle of the night and I'm rambling. yawn

but the first episode AIRED was " Man-Trap"

Raf is correct. "The Naked Time" Sulu is running around the ship, shirtless, with a sword, seeing himself as a 'swashbuckler', due to the alien microbe. He enters the bridge and grabs Uhura, calling her a 'fair maiden". She rebuffs him with "sorry, neither". Meanwhile, Riley has taken over the engine room, and Spock is losing it, but that's another story.

do the singing Ladies even qualify ? Way productions is Pressed Down, Good Seed, Joyful Noise, Takit, and I'll be charitable and include Branded and the Victors. I's also include Selah, Lisa Lockridge, anda few others from the 70's. There are others more qualified to speak about Way productions downfall-but the singing Ladies would have been a joke in 'my time' maybe the defining line should be pre or post Ted Ferrell

not 'Shore Leave' It's not easy to give clues on this one, without giving it away, but it does involve one of the most famous segments of the series, and a revealing look at the characters that became all too rare.

not Qpid clue-it was an 'original' Trek episode
