  1. My3Cents - So, if I ever do get to have the “normal” family I dreamed of having, I’ll really be “abnormal”? :D--> Thanks for the kind words, seriously. I do worry that not having a family might be the dire consequences of the horrible decisions I made and didn’t make regarding TWI. Bramble – Pretty sick, isn’t it, that we were supposed to be the ones living the more abundant life and all most of us could do was envy those friends and family outside the walls of TWI who were obviously truly living it and didn’t even have to tell each other they were so “blessed” Abigail – Abigail, thank you so much! I’m working on my breathing and relaxation things such as chakra clearing. I am definitely not strong enough to have a baby on my own (but could change my mind by the time I’m 40). I don’t know how single moms do it. I have the utmost respect and admiration for them. It is nice to know that modern medicine and being healthy can make things possible that weren’t years ago. Shellon – – Glad to hear there is a new normal and softer edges down the road. Thanks so much for your encouragement. I’m sure your words resonate for many more folks than just me. dmiller – Thank God for the *healthy* insurgents, eh? :D--> Sounds like you were in the perfect place at the right time to be able to get out maybe more healthy attitude. You sound very grounded, Sir. Rejoice – I’m so sorry you had the double-betrayal emotional roller coaster so similar to mine. I’m glad that therapy is a lot more acceptable and accepted these days or I would have been much more hesitant to go. I think I knew that I was emotionally bankrupt and would have had a nervous breakdown (or had already had one) if I didn’t get some help. I love hearing the simple things of God when I’m in the mood to hear anything about God. Mental ascension just ....e$ me off now. Mocha Tree Girl - I think the honest, sincere and truly loving folks are the only reason so many of us stayed as long as we did. houseisarockin - So good to read you again! I’ve missed seeing you around. It is scary to think that I could get sucked in to some other group very similar to TWI. I have a hard time telling people “no” and I think that’s part of the problem and I’m definitely working on that. My3Cents – I really appreciate all your input here on this thread and at Gspot in general. Thank you for making the time for us. Your ‘manufactured reality’ statement resonates loud and clear. It’s kind of like a parent who knows her kid is doing drugs but refuses to pay attention to the proof. TheEvan - AMEN and AMEN to that! Ditto the marriages, too. If they were truly based on biblical principle we wouldn’t have had to keep secrets, constantly watch and monitor each other. If a group can come between us, what kind of marriage/friendship was it to begin with? I think that’s what really hurts. Mr. Hammeroni – You never fail to bring a smile to my face! :D--> Thanks! rascal – So, it’s kinda like being married to a new man but without having to go through the ceremony again, eh?? :D--> I do know it has to be frustrating, but I really admire your determination and strength.
  2. Excellent information and insight, My3Cents. Thanks. :)-->
  3. Mr H, it died with Uncle Harry. His saying, according to his book, was that the Bible was just plain old horse sense. vee pee pee and craiggers did a fabulous job of proving that saying wrong.
  4. dmiller, your story reminds me of what happened here. A girl I work with is a huge Bush supporter and she wore her Bush/Cheney shirt to her precinct to vote. They told her she couldn't vote with that shirt on so she took it off right there in line with everyone watching....turned the shirt inside out....put it back on and went inside to vote. :D--> TRUE STORY! She's always the first person invited to happy hour now.
  5. Is a G-Spot t-shirt! :D--> and a Survivor Buff What do YOU want for Christmas??
  6. UH, that's the line LCM would give to women he wanted to errrr...put his finger in their ear. I think I read that he also used that line to justify his actions when he was confronted at an advanced class. Someone more in the know can shed some light on it, though.
  7. LOL! Thanks, y'all! I have to go clean the coffee off my monitor now.
  8. Air drop food, my a$$! Let 'em fend for themselves. They don't deserve anything paid with a single penny of my hard earned tax money.
  9. UH, you left out the part about sex being no different than putting your finger in someone's ear, but other than that I think you got it down precisely! LOVE IT!
  10. I'd like to see just one detailed example of someone in TWI who has paid cash for a house. Not some rich focker, but someone in a middle class working situation with kids and no inheritance or equity from a previously wise decision to buy a home. Someone who basically started from scratch - zip/zilch/nada - regarding savings for a home. mj - the TWIts never said that they didn't have mortgages or debt on the property, but they say that times are a different and just b/c the TWIts at hq did it that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. They also say that vee pee pee tore up the mortgage when they paid it off and said they would never ever ever go into debt again. They also went into debt at one time to make the payroll, I think, but they justified it because they had those valuable gold coins in the bank and could have cashed those in to pay their bills if they really had to. Yeah, and I have a house I can sell to pay off my mortgage if I really have to. ;)-->
  11. IMO, they shoulda thought about that BEFORE they committed their crimes. BOO HOOO!! I killed innocent people and now I can't find any food or medical help.... They phocking don't deserve to have tax payers paying for it.
  12. Oh, GAWD, outofdafog! Is that TRUE?? One more reason I'm glad I didn't vote for Kerry!!

Remember to change gears before inserting feet - I get the shakes like when I learned how to drive a standard if I forget to change gears. BTW - Gold Bond tastes like cr@p!
  14. Giving 15% of my income to bribe God to protect me and answer my prayers - $15,000 a year Getting free from TWIts and choosing what and how I want to give while still having God's protection and blessings - PRICELESS
  15. I still say that's not the norm, JT and I really believe that there must have been circumstances that you may not have been aware of. They may have started buying a house prior to the non-policy and non-coercion to sell (sarcasm intended) and invested the equity from the sale of that first devilish house in such a way as to help them reach their goals. Believe me, I have relatives very "in the know" in the financial field and when I talked to them about how to pay cash for a house, there weren't very many options and none of them really would have worked for my dual income family. I don't doubt you, but I don't think it's a realistic expectation or goal for the average middle class family.
  16. This is the only one I got, but it wasn't from the mod dishwashwer, it was from the not-so-mod one..... Did I leave lipstick on my coffee cup again??
  17. I'm all for switching over to the Turkish prison operation!
  18. I'm really enjoying this thread! :D--> BTW, I don't look like my avatar either. ;)-->
  19. So none of my nudie pictures went through?? :(--> Bummer!
  20. I love Dr Schulze's stuff! I'm going to call and see if I can still get the DVDs, they don't mention it on their website. Thanks so much!
  21. Wal Mart is a beaurocratic bully. They manipulate, intimidate and negotiate to the point that most companies who do business with them hardly realize any profit after the negotiations are done. They have started requiring their vendors to move their production overseas to reduce overhead costs, so that they can afford to sell their products through Wal-Mart. --> I used to work for a company who did major business with them, but once I did a cost analysis we realized that, although we were brining in millions upon millions of dollars from them, it was costing us 1/3 as much just to service and maintain their business. We weren't making millions on them, we were losing millions. I despise what Wal Mart has done to the small businesses and wish more people would quit shopping there. If you look at the prices, they really aren't that great anymore. It's a classic example of telling the people a lie often enough that they will end up believing it.
  22. Pathetic what we've been reduced to, isn't it? MERRY CHRISTMAS, CHATTYCATHY!! I'm sending out CHRISTMAS Cards this year and making sure that every single one of them says CHRISTMAS on it! ;)-->
  23. Awwww, shucks, thanks Steve! You made my day.
