Okay, Chas. :)--> You just reminded me of one of Moneyhand's tirades. We had the AC on the field and, as people are wont to do after sitting and listening to b.s. for the whole freaking day, we were ready to get the heck out of dodge and go to bed. Well....some people clicked their 3-ring binders while they were putting their pages back in their binder. You'd a thought someone had jumped on stage and sprayed tar all over everyone. Bob went into the biggest hissy fit and talked about going "spiritually cold". Yelled at us for a good 15-20 minutes about how rude, wrong and ignorant that was. Then he told us that he had some great spiritual insight to share that NOW we weren't going to get to hear because of these people. Well, I was ****** at those folks..... We coulda listened to this "great spirital insight" and been outta there 20 minutes earlier if they had just kept quiet. Kind of like in the meeting you're ready to end and some jerk keeps asking stupid questions....

My friend at HQ has given me the following information: TWI no longer wants their corpse to do research. All the more recent way rags usually quote some other publication. Several people got reamed for not enough Way publication quotes in their writing. (Even if they were looking at a topic not normally covered by the collaterals or any other teachings.) There you have it folks. The stagnant pond is smelling worse by the day.

I remember hearing about microwaves. craig went on about how he didn't understand how they work and they couldn't possibly be healthy. It got real quiet in the room as you could just hear people thinking, "Whaddan effen idiot!!" That was never brought up again in our area. I remember hearing the minor chord thing too, Ala. Fool those fooling fools foolishly flinging flying lies at us.

Bliss, it was the first thing I read after I first found the websites on TWI. It showed me that I wasn't crazy and that I wasn't imagining things. It was also very healing to read. :)--> You're gonna be glad you got it.

Any two believers can live together because of their like-minded stand on the word. Don't know about y'all but we've saved FL from way more hurricanes than have actually hit. You know when Andrew took out Homestead it was because we had pulled our believers out of that area. Columbine happened because that city rejected the word.

I think that was the point, Ham. They don't want people to think. If they actually think or truly research anything TWI teaches then that person will see how "off the word" TWI is and how wrong their teachings are....well, they should anyway. But, then again, I didn't see it for years and my ex is very intelligent and he doesn't see it. *shrug* I think that's what TWI is counting on....blinding people to the truth by boring rote repitition even when it's right in front of their eyes.

Ummmm, Abigail.... is it Friday the 7th through Monday the 10th? I'll be flying, but Mama may be coming. That will determine what I'll be able to bring and contribute. I'll try to talk to her tonight and let you know.

My ex told a story of a girl getting screamed at till she cried for putting more than the requested 3 ice cubes in his drink. BTW, Moneyhands had a list just about as long. When it looked like they might be coming to our phone hook-up I took several pages of notes on what to do and not to do so that our local MOG was blessed. --> BTW, he likes Diet Coke - Not a lot of ice - NEVER let the glass get empty - it has to be a real glass, he doesn't like the plastic, styrofoam or paper cups - Never let him get cornered by one person for very long and - at my wedding they had a crew with the sole purpose of keeping one of the wedding attendees from getting anywhere near him because he irritated Bob.

How do you reconcile the "remnant" excuse for such a small group of people and the "weakness in the face of adversity" with the "expansion" that is supposed to be happening with all that "Rise" and "Prevailing Word"? That's what I want to know.

I wonder if the demon in the pink tights dances around the stage while they're reading from his book?

Ham, it was and I did! Lazy Man's TWI Teaching. Just add another verse or add an incident to some rag article and you have a teaching. :)--> I'm not ashamed to say I did that. Funny, too, how craig would teach that if a MOG said something was revelation that didn't come to pass he was not a MOG, but when HIS "revelation" didn't come to pass it was because "revelation had changed". --> And we sooo believed it. Gawd, how embarrassing... :o-->

No, but I didn't get involved till after he had begun to rot. I wonder, though, what did you all think who DID know? Did y'all ever talk about it? Did you just think it was okay since he was the MOG? Did you think about leaving when you found out? Just curious.

Thanks, Bliss. So instead of telling you to teach from the Rag each week, they just "suggest" it? How nice of them. :D--> actually, I kinda liked it some weeks because then I didn't REALLY have to prepare a teaching, just read from the rag and add a coupl-a more verses to it....voila! a teaching.

When I was there I saw some ghosts in the gazebo. They were making some gestures, but I couldn't really make out what they were....something with their fingers... I also heard that there are devil spirits who visit the bathrooms at hq and unfold those little triangles on the toilet paper. But the balcony at the auditorium is supposed to the most haunted because no one's been up there in years. The spirits have been able to just take over and I think that's where the head Daimon has his headquarters.
