  1. That sounds like a Joe Pesci soundbyte in my head. Goodfellas?
  2. Nope. Try again sir. You're thinking too much. :-)
  3. Okay, this one's pretty easy. One word title. :)
  4. If not for the reference to singing on tombs, I'd guess Frosty the Snowman. It has frost, snowshoes, a greenhouse (hence the flowers) and lots of love, but no romance. but I don't remember anyone singing on tombs...
  5. Unfortunately, I don't recognize those um....ladies. ...but if I were to take a wild guess, I'd say "Hollywood Squares".
  6. np Wordworlf. Ace Ventura it is! That's a hard one to post clues for because most of the best lines in the movie involve some kind of Jim Carrey contortion. :-) George, you're up.
  7. Nope. Here's another clue. "Hi, I'm looking for Ray Finkle. (A gun slides out through hole in door into [character's] face)...And a clean pair of shorts. -What do you know about Ray Finkle? Southpaw soccer style kicker. Graduated from Collier High in June, 1976. Stetson University honors graduate, class of 1980. Holds two NCAA division one records. One for most points in a season, one for distance. Former nickname The Mule. The first and only pro athlete ever to come out of Collier County. And one helluva model American!"
  8. "Roger Podacter went out after work. He had a few drinks, and he came home. But he wasn't alone. Someone was with him in this apartment. There was a struggle, and then Roger Podacter was thrown over that balcony. Roger Podacter didn't commit suicide... He was murdered."
  9. So,...this is not the movies from one line thread, so I can post more than one quote, right?
  10. Aw nuts. I can remember the artist and the album, but not which song it is. If I remember correctly, this lp set a record for most number of consecutive weeks on the BillBoard Top 100.
  11. Oh. I knew it was something I'd watched recently. Wrong title. That's from Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (and Dracula and the Werewolf incidentally).
  12. Thanks for the tip Gen 2, but there are several facebook listings under "GSC". None of them looks related to the Cafe. Could ya post a link or somethin' ? :-)
  13. Jeepers, I just found out. (I don't visit the Open thread much anymore). As many others have testified, the GSC (and WayDale before it), have been a life changing resource for me. I shudder to think where my mind and life would be today if not for exposure to the information and insights shared here by folks like Rafael, Garth, The Evan, Psudo, Belle, Excathedra, the Invisible Todd, Cman, Steve Lortz, and many others. There will be a big hole in a lot of our lives, but we are much richer for having had this virtual church in which to help and heal each other. Paw, you have done an incredible work here for the exTWI community. If there's any way I can help you at any time, I am at your service.
  14. The Congressman is newly minted felon Tom Delay. But I don't know anything on TV that sounds like Delay Margaret Cho. The Lay Margaret Show???
  15. only three of the pictures are loading.
  16. Good guess, but no. Be more literal.
  17. That rings a bell...cop movie with Russell Crowe and Kim Bassinger... LA Confidential!
