Mars is related to warfare -- I am expecting (and already experiencing) increased spiritual warfare. A nice thing is that Aug 27 is new moon -- when the demons are at their weakest -- a good time for fighting. Hopefully, :)-->," God

Expressions of espresso: Mr. Coffee has a nice espresso machine for less than $40. We've had ours for over a year and it serves us daily. Nice for a nice cup of coffee for the two of us. We don't need to feel obligated to drink more than just what we want, and it's always fresh. Makes a nice affordable present, too. p.s. aren't all espresso makers "steam"? :)-->," God

The Dog Named Mace: > >A mechanic who worked out of his home had a dog named Mace. Mace had a bad habit of eating all the grass in the mechanic's lawn, so the mechanic had to keep Mace inside. The grass eventually became overgrown. > >One day the mechanic was working on a car in his backyard and dropped his wrench losing it in the tall grass. He couldn't find it for the life of him, so he decided to call it a day. > >That night, Mace escaped from the house and ate all the grass in the backyard. The next morning the mechanic went outside and saw his wrench glinting in the sunlight. Realizing what had happened he looked up to the heavens and proclaimed. . . > > >He proclaimed: "A grazing Mace, how sweet the hound, that saved a wrench for me!" > :)-->," God

Happy Happy Birthday And many happy returns! :)-->," God -
Putting pfal through a reality check was a big deal for my life, and so vital to being able to learn to walk with the Holy Spirit. I was able to see that a walk with the lord did not require memorizing pfal and sending tithe to twi: :)-->When I realized that other Christian groups were indeed Christian. :)-->When I read other writers, such as BG Leonard, Norman Vincent Peale, JE Stiles, Billy Graham (and many more) whose writing pre-dates PFAL, and they had said those things which vpw took credit for bringing into the world. :)-->When I found that the other people who had written the pfal material also had a Holy Spirit power which was lacking in pfal. :)-->When I found that in mainstream Christianity living the Christian principles of love and kindness to your fellow man were hallmarks of Christianity -- rather than a big pontificating mouth with big words sinful lifestyle -- commonly called hypocricy. :)-->When I found that Holy Spirit still loved me, even though i had been kicked out of twi. :)-->Trancechat / WayDale / Greasespot Cafe have played a big part in my reality check. (THANK YOU Paul Allen, Pawtucket, John Juedes et al.) :)-->," God

And, George, Mose Allison is my all-time favorite. Saw him in Greenwich Village back in the Beat days of the 60's. Happy memory. The Score is to me a great movie because of the clip of Mose Allison in it. Thanks for reminding me. Again, Hope your birthday is a treasure of tomorrow's happy memories. :)-->," God

Well I made up more archive titles and put some stuff in there. Moved caption contests and games to the gallery and reading room. That way they could be played with longer and not get lost on the open forum. Please respond with any suggestions or problems you see. (All this was in followup of Linda Z's suggestion back on WayDale of making the archives more usable for people who come in to visit.) Hopefully still, :)-->," God

shellon, I moved this over here because I thought one of the Computer-wise people could help you get what you were looking for. Kit :)-->," God

PECANS IN THE CEMETERY On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day, two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began dividing the nuts. "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me," said one boy. Several dropped and rolled down toward the fence. Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he passed, he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He slowed down to investigate. Sure enough, he heard, "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me." He just knew what it was. "Oh my", he shuddered, "it's Satan and the Lord dividing the souls at the cemetery." He jumped back on his bike and rode off. Just around the bend he met an old man with a cane, hobbling along. Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe what I heard! Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the souls." The man said, "Beat it kid, can't you see it's hard for me to walk." When the boy insisted though, the man hobbled to the cemetery. Standing by the fence they heard, "One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me..." The old man whispered, "Boy, you've been tellin' the truth. Let's see if we can see the Lord himself." Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence, yet were still unable to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord. At last they heard, "One for you, one for me." And one last "One for you, one for me. That's all. Now let's go get those nuts by the fence, and we'll be done." They say the old man made it back to town a full 10 minutes ahead of the boy on the bike. :)-->," God

Be careful what you post here. It will show up in court!

Hi. 1. Kit Sober is neither creative nor legally astute. 2. I copied this post from another thread (as I said). 3. A lovely person who used to be a friend of Fred's got severely damaged because she wrote and poured out her heart on one of these ex-way places. A family member who did not know of the things she divulged found it on a Google search. . . (searching for her name). Then it was spread through her family for shame, and her job. . . Just very sad. And I only thought to give a "heads up." I love this Greasespot Cafe because it does allow people the option of giving their story (which can be safely couched in protective anonymity) and releasing the pent up anguish and grief. Greasespot Cafe also allows getting to know others who have had similar circumstances and overcame them. (There are also some who have gone through twi unscathed, and these people are an inspiration.) Sincerely and hopefully, :)-->," God -

Read through the "Thread Killers" thread. It contains a lot of how-to's. Many here wouldn't know nothing about how to do these things except that other people here, much more knowledgeable helped along the way. Feel free to play around. Learning is still an exciting adventure. Enjoy yourself. Pawtucket allows playing around at the tables, (actually, I think he encourages it). :)-->," God
