Children are taught in school today that suicide is a method of dealing with troubles. And the music they listen to approves it as well. Just this year a guy at work -- a 20-year employee, the director of three major gaming departments, had his Most-precious-only-son do this while he was at college. I don't know if my friend will ever recover. I hope and pray that some of these parents who have been so devastated will get the word out, like Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) has done with drunk driving laws. :)-->," God

Out in the Cruel world people work to make Jesus known Most Christians know temples are not made of stone. For Children and others who have been dealt a cruel blow (or two), The Hand of Help is there to do what they can, too. The US Marine Corps gives Toys for Tots (As with most groups you're welcome give little or lots.) The prison Fellowship makes happy children whose parents are in prison, And Salvation Army works their soldiers on the street corner and soup kitchen. Billy Graham's kids give children a Shoebox Greeting full Christmas cheer, And Los Angeles children will have a WOW JAM complete with snow this year. When I give to others less fortunate I can see, That the blessing of giving is mostly for me. And with every star of every angel tree, Where a parent or child hangs a hope, We find a way to make us a more nobler folk. :)-->," God

Worth seeing for The finale: A rendition of Beethoven's truly timeless "Joyful Joyful" (We adore Thee) -- a most awesome gospel song done with major 21st Century San Francisco High School kids' joyful adoration: A bunch of high school kids joyfully joyfully worshipping the Lord. I was impressed. Like Elvis' movie, "Change of Habit," Sister Act II treats Catholics with kind affection, recognizing the Catholic goal of becoming and helping others to live more Christian lives. Glad I saw it. (It was on HBO last nite.) :)-->," God

stolen material We differ here. . . My Bible was stolen from my car -- It was parked at a twig house. . . and a dear friend said that, "I hope they get blessed. . ." stuff. I said, "No way Jose. That was my Bible. You don't profit from stolen material." (I felt violated. The Lord and I meet together over coffee at my Bible. I was miserable without it.) Anyway, I get a call from a lady who had bought my Bible from a guy selling it in a laundromat for some ridiculous amount. She said on the phone, "I really wanted to keep it. It is such a nice Bible, but I had to try to call you." I said thankyouverymuch. Plus I bought her a new Cambridge (my favorite). So she did get a nice Bible out of the deal. IMHO BG Leonard thinks like this for his class. His class was stolen. Stolen is just different than when you give it away. It's easy to be "giving" with other people's stuff. My friend who thought he could pray for the guy who stole my Bible to "get blessed" was really shocked by my reaction. (I was, too, actually.) Hopefully still, :)-->," God

I concur. Trend Micro's pccillin "House Call" Our computer-repair-service/friend recommended this site -- it's what they use to test pcs brought in for service. Doesn't cost anything and doesn't leave a bunch of files. You do need to tell them which country you are in, however. :)-->," God

I re-saw them at a Dale Sides class in Chicago a few years ago. Maybe you can find them through that ministry, which had its headquarters in Bedford, Virginia Liberating Ministries for Christs, Intl. The Kennedys were involved in the missionary work of that organization at the time. :)-->," God

To Steve Swenton from a thankful mom, Twenty years later (1994) my most precious son was USMC at 29 Palms. Saved his life. Orlanda Lilly pulled him out of self-centered punk-rock-drug high school time and gavehim enough stuff to complete his tour of duty. Kit Sober Reno NV Tom Boone, Alameda circa 1970s. Anyone know him or his whereabouts? He is most precious to me (as well as to God), and I'd love to get in touch with him. (have posted this on friend finder's over the year as well.) Thanks, again, :)-->," God

Christian Reclamation of Halloween
Kit Sober replied to Mister P-Mosh's topic in Greasespot Holidays, Holydays and Heydays
IMHO halo-witness is what a Christian lives every day, always. It's what we are. p.s. I always loved getting those tracts. I always loved seeing the hope of them. (A gospel tract is only given out if the giver thinks that Jesus would save some thereby. I always loved that.) Hopefully, :)-->," God -
There is a kindness of my Lord, As he tenderly wipes my tears. Calms my fears, And says He's always near. We are to be like that to one another, Kindly affectioned, like sister and brother. Agonizing rationalizing terrorizing and laying blame, Is not the same. JP and his off-twi-property family, too, Deserve kindness, not this. Harve's letter is a shameful masterpiece of using "spiritual authority" to inflict punishment Rather than the kindness of Jesus we read about in the Bible. They sure have had a lot of practice at cruelty! I am so glad I'm out of that place! My grief and tears are with you, JP, Sincerely and hopefully, :)-->," God

Christian Reclamation of Halloween
Kit Sober replied to Mister P-Mosh's topic in Greasespot Holidays, Holydays and Heydays
I always liked halloween. . . :)--> families out and about :)--> parents taking time with their children, watching over them :)--> A time for neighbors to get together -- talking on the street while the children are running around together having the enjoyment of a parent-supervised (and protected) time :)--> making treats as a family, parties I always thought halloween was a great time because nice people make fun of the devil's "big scare." From Waydale: :)-->," God -

Thanks so much. The previews made it look like my kind of movie, but I am gettng leery of so many movies that look like they are nice and then turn out to be really depressing (life is depressing enough for me:)--> ) So thanks for telling me it is a safe movie to see. Sincerely and hopefully, :)-->," God
