  1. Jim, Countrytime Lemondade Agree about the lemonade. After all Grace Bliss taught about the goodness of the way God made things (which I supposed twi was all about: restoring into the world the pure goodness of the life God made) -- they introduced this chemical feast of lemonade, so called "Countrytime." I was so disappointed I was speechless. (You got to know I'm from Berkeley CA area, home of Wholly Foods, USA., and taking "Lessons in Living by Grace Bliss but a plumb line of God's love and truth into the "natural foods" focus I had. I'll love Grace Bliss till the day I die for her kindness and honesty into our lives. The Countrytime Lemonade issue was for me, it seems in retrospect, Holy Spirit trying to get me to see what was going on. Good PFAL77 memories: PFAL77 was one of the last times I saw Michael Martin (from Alameda). And that made it worth the trip. I loved Hearing Skip Mesquite play (and also seeing him at some help desk) other: Jade plant died. Hope I still don't have the plate. These twi things keep coming to the surface. Spring cleanout projects a few weekends ago produced some Spanish pfal stuff. It's like Christmas tinsel that clogs the vacuum cleaner in July.:P-->( Kit
  2. I had more than one dear friend who had twi sponsored abortions -- and they did it only because they thought they were doing it to be better able to serve the Lord. The devil's cruel bullying does not need to be in loud yelling and spittle-laden curses. The hateful curses can be delivered in quiet, sincere, appealing tones as well. Early-on twi counseling was delivered with deep concern and affection, though just as hurtful and wrong as the later-on yelling and screaming stuff. Oldiesman, I think 1. you are counting your opinion as the authority of truth and fact, although the Bible cautions us all that we can only know in part. 2. you are not considering into your equation the deception and lies which were used to coerce twi people into abortions or other wrongdoing. From what I saw and experienced people were deceived into thinking that lies were the truth, regarding the subject of this current discussion as well as other topics. IMHO abandoning your family and your personal life in the world were serious wrongdoings which twi people were conned into as well. Sincerely, Kit Sober
  3. Raf, thanks for posting those things. It filled in the gaps in logical thought. Sincerely,
  4. loveofmoney....twi probably got irritated that so many ex-twi people were making money on ebay selling stuff they were overstocked with
  5. true thing he said, (as we were reminded in another thread) "I could get a job in a gas station." (I think he could do this.)
  6. the pictures on your mantle in your home are of "leadership" "twig family" "WOW family" and not your own family.
  7. thanks, Cowgirl. I had never heard the "doctrine" of cruelty.
  8. Refiner, There is a treasue of speaking in tongues over in the archive forum: Speaking in tongues by accident Searching (click "find") for "tongues" in this forum yields a lot of stuff because that's what we all did (or pretended we did). vpw taught speaking in tongues was normal Christian behavior. In fact, in the 80's, before he was revealed as an immoral sexual predator, a Christian who's who dictionary credited him with "normalizing speaking in tongues as part of the Christian lifestyle." I saw this in a Christian bookstore shortly after he died but then later, when I looked again, he'd been removed. Hopefully,

  10. Agree with Steve! Chuck Colson and Jim Bakker both came to themselves during their prison time and their lives and ministry improved because of it. Prison outreach, as well as caring for those who are in other chains -- poverty, ignorance, sickness -- these are things Christians are encouraged to do, and we grow closer to the Lord thereby because that's what He did as well. Pompous arrogance, such as is rampant in twi, is never a good breeding ground for a Christian soul.
  11. One of the great sandnesses to me of twi is that we didn't have Jesus as our friend, didn't have Holy Spirit as our comforter (really warm and snuggly), didn't have God as our father. -- all that was supplanted by twi, vpw et al. Watchman Nee was probably the pivotal author who brought me into the throne room and introduced me to Jesus. I cannot give a definitive "who Jesus is" because I have only seen part of him. But that part is so truly lovely. I have no trouble understanding why people would endure persecution and torture in His name (that's what He promised us as our lot in this life). His name is Wonderful, Christ Jesus my lord. p.s. Goey. Loved your link.
  12. This being an exposition of terms and phrases used in this site, and links thereof, which may have different meanings and nuances than might generally be supposed. An "About the Way" forum discussion is currently in place developing this topic as well.Wayspeak discussion on "About the Way" forum Kit Sober
