    bin Laden is Dead

There has been no proof offered of bin Laden's killing. This Administration also took four years to "release" the president's birth certificate, which has been regarded as a fake by numerous forensic experts. A large number of Americans still do not believe that he is Constitutionally eligible to hold the office. As the days unfold, the president still has not released proof positive of the bin Laden operation. His advisors do not want to release pictures, they say, fearing the peaceful Muslim religion will retaliate with a vengeance. How brave they are until they have to provide the world with their evidence. From a Christian reporter in Washington I received this:
  6. You can get a 1611 version at amazon.com. I have given away a number of them to such people as an intellectual agnostic who appreciated the "historical significance" and I give with the hope that God's goodness will ooze from the pages and seep into his heart. The full "introduction and preface is especially precious to me.
  7. Too funny about the salt on the sparrow. My mom had to explain that one to me, too. (You can't get close enough to put salt on it's tail, sweetheart.)

  9. Sid Roth, for the week of 4/25-30/11 had Peter Horrobin who gave a most convincing presentation of the urgency and importance of forgiveness to the forgiver. http://www.sidroth.org/site/News2?abbr=tv_&page=NewsArticle&id=9939
  10. Many years ago I had and developed a hunger for God and His Word, which was shut out and muffled and stifled and stilled, but not quite. Stuff I read and heard from others outside of twi have lovingly nurtured me back into that relationship of hope and passion for the Lord. I was reminded of that by this "Up Words" email today by Max Lucado and I thought (1) it would bless you and (2) that you might have other thoughts and directional signals that helped you get back to the Lord or even better yet kept you from straying away at all. Some of the stories from "Your Old Way Bible" thread also reminded me of my "youth" of reveling in God's Word.

    Fish stories

Click here: YouTube - Flying Silver Carp on Wabash River in Indiana One of my friends, no, change that to one of my close acquaintances, teases me about the back woodiness of Indiana. Well, on the Wabash River you don't see men out in hip boots using fancy fly rods to cast out to entice a fish to grab ahold. No. We just cruise down the river in our motor boat and let the fish fly into the boat. The fish are called flying carp, or more properly silver carp. Silver carp have become notorious for being easily frightened by boats and personal watercraft, which causes them to leap high into the air. The fish can jump up to 8–10 feet into the air, and numerous boaters have been injured by collisions with the fish. According to the EPA, "reported injuries include cuts from fins, black eyes, broken bones, back injuries, and concussions." Silver carp can grow to 100 pounds in mass.[ FISHING THE HARD WAY Fishing without a pole!!

    Happy Easter

Well, It will take some planning ahead. I don't have latkes, but Fred does, but he is going to church pretty soon.

    Happy Easter

We have Russian latkes, we should have "He is Risen" too. And I received two or three of these "He is Risen" emails, and we had "He is Risen" a bunch of times in the Easter service, too. God was so kind to give us His Son for our life's sunshine.

    Happy Easter

Another Easter thought is that this Easter/Passover season is an open portal for the goodness of God to flow especially. I know we all need it, and I am praying for the flood of the blood to flow freely over and through all of us for healing and protection. Opera Buff: Translation please :)

    Happy Easter

Received this nice view of Easter from Max Lucado's "Up Words" As I have noted in other discussions at the Cafe, I am so thankful that I can now enjoy the views of Jesus from different people. Here is (in my opinion) a wonderful view.

  21. Giants video from Showtime Cool video especially if you love the Giants.
  22. The void created by the reduction of twi influence has been partially filled by The Skit Guys. Here's their helpful information on the Bible.
  23. A murderer forgiven from GodTube Learning about the genocide that took place in Rwanda in 1994 was very painful (it was not covered in twi). This GodTube video came from those events.
  24. A funny Holy Spirit note on "proper emphasis." I was so worried about the way to pronounce "Jesus" because someone impressed upon me that devil spirits used the name Jesus and I could be calling in demons if I didn't say it correctly. . . anyway there was a box of and the Holy Spirit said,"it rhymes with that." The reason I posted this here is because I was thinking about the "little words that do a big job." (something like that) I really loved that class. Took it a few times, at least once live. I thought the little words were like me. though apparently insignificant, yet a part of the Body of Christ, I am important. Those little words though small do matter, each one to the Lord Who put them there.

    Goodbye

Praying with you and for you for increased relationship with the Lord, which is the best of all. With your hand in His, He will be able to lead you into that closer walk with Him. My best friend and husband is just now being confirmed in Catholic faith. We have both found that Catholic church is a good place for us. Everytime you go into church and frequently during the service one's attention is drawn to that One who suffered and died for us (encourages humiity). So many things nice there. In Jesus' precious name I pray you find what you are looking for and the peace of the Lord Jesus be with you always. p.s. the door of this place swings both ways and you are always welcome at the Cafe (as long as Pawtucket is keeping the doors open that is :) )
