Are you talking about John S0m@rv!1le, of Total Fitness Institute infamy? -
Charlene, you are right. Since we don't have any forensic evidence of the writer's/author's cyligaphy(?) or hand writing(notice how Paul loops certaing semetic letters or Issaiah has a certain visual slant) to compare nor their own non-scriptural comment, much less anything from Josephus or early 2nd Cent. Church Fathers to collaborate such matters. Even George Lamsa and Rocco Errico implied that the original manuscript penned by the Biblical writers were often treated as toilet paper or to start fires as kindling shows that the physical papyrus was not worshiped(biblioidolatry)as fundamentalists tend to do.

Krys, I understand your frustration. Within the approximate 10 years to get a Bachelor's degree and 3 colleges/Universities, If I had never heard of Victor Paul Wierwille or The Way International, I could have gotten married, had a Master's degree in Organ, had children, and possibly had a decent Church job as Organist/Director of Music here in the Hickory area(decent salary). No, I just had to attend ECU during the energy/gasoline crisis, traveling 7-9 hours from Western NC(and it was another 2 hours to the beach). If God wanted me to have an academic hobby in Biblical Research, I could have found some of TWI's materials such as Bullinger,Torrey,Cliffe,Kenyon,Lamsa(and Errico),Pilai,Freeman, Prince, Albert Benjamin Simpson, and others in Christian Family Bookstore. I wasted nearly a decade chasing TWI and causing my family/other relatives and friends heartache(which may have contributed to their health problems and early deaths).

If you really want to get into legitimate Biblical Research, 3 of the following materials might work for you:1.Multipurpose tools for Bible Study- Frederick Danker, Fortress Press. 2. Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Manners and Customs-Howard Vos. 3. Hard Sayings of the Bible- Walter Keiser, Peter Davids, F. F. Bruce, Manfred Brauch; InterVaristy Press. Something different than Wierwille, Bullinger, Kenyon, Pilai, Lamsa, Erricco, Derek Prince, Olsteen, Ruben Archer Torrey, Schoenheit, etc.

and what is so wrong with NASBU(New American Standard Bible Updated) or ESV(English Standard Version) that Mr. Schenheit feels a new and better translation is necessary?  -

John Lynn's recent email
Thomas Loy Bumgarner replied to pawtucket's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
He didn't say MLK, Jr. but German reformer Martin Luther who indeed was born November 10. Is JL saying he is Luther reincarnated/channelled? Let's sing A Mighty Fortress is John Lynn, a butthead unstopable. (rich little bast*rd). -

You mean The Way had a sense of humor, like Wierwille in PFAL saying Jesus wasn't beating around the bush when He spoke to the fig tree? I know, groan bad pun.

John Lynn and STFI
Thomas Loy Bumgarner replied to Factfinder's topic in Spirit and Truth Fellowship International
Pond, you never answered Tzaia's question, Are you saying that John Schoenheit's grandchildren are living with him and his wife(Sam's children)? or is it John Lynn's grandchildren? If the former because of Sam's wounds and not being able to support his wife and children with a job, that would be news. If that is the case, why didn't JS say so? or is it other ST&F employees/staff with extended families, maybe because of hard economic times? Oh excuse me, that's is negative believing/ trust issues with God. right? -

As for their translation called English Revised Version based on 1901 American Standard Version but with corrections for doctrine based on koinne Greek, Figures of Speech, and "Orientalisms". Surely they are familar with New American Standard Bible Updated or English Standard Version, but no those pesky Trinitarians have polluted the original "God-breathed" Word. So here I am to save the day, John Schoenheit is on his way(apologies to Mighty Mouse ). -

I am surprised on this. Now Mark and Karen Grasser I understand. But John Lynn, unless he fled to Christian Family Fellowship Ministries. -
careful Ham, it might be squirel, so be nice

Now how would Wierwille and Martindale know about devil spirits and possession unless they were Sataniclly possessed themselves? Actually dictators like Hitler and Stalin, and those of similar obsessions may actually be evil, yet VPW and LCM praise them as being godly(MOGFODAT) who are misunderstood. Kettle calling pot black analogy.

That is an understatement or as Homer Simpson would say "Doh".

Mr. Ham and relatives in commercial
Thomas Loy Bumgarner replied to Thomas Loy Bumgarner's topic in Humor
is Mr. Ham burying nuts in gutters and drain pipes to frustrate homewners as the commercial implies? Inquiring minds want to know, especially if this is occuring at Rosie's house in NK? -
I am convinced he really was Elmer Gantry(Burt Lancaster movie).

Cash Cab with Ben Browder(?) on Discovery Channel. -
Englert Leaf Guard advertising shows squirrels aggravating the cleaners by having leaves and nuts. One of them has a hobo/tramp bag and says nuts. I am positive it is our own Mister Ham. He must be having job problems as a math teacher right now. Now Fess up .

What was LCM's ministry supposed to be
Thomas Loy Bumgarner replied to mchud11's topic in About The Way
I believe it was Wierwille who relayed Martindale's interest in Donna and threatened to blackmail her if she refused to date Craig(he may have known her lesbianism). -
