The books in themselves are not necessarily wrong but some of the doctrines are not in mainstream Christianity doctrinal understanding and can be manipulated and abused to teach heresy(which is not wrong doctrine but over emphasised selections of scripture to the point of ignoring other important scriptural teaching).

I suspect Wierwille did not throw away all books/commentaries and Torrey's writings was proably modified to agree with Kenyon and Bullinger. The topics were originally seperate smaller books with chapters, later reprinted by charismatic publishing house Whitaker House in New Kenington,PA. MStar, you did fine, as long as you don't wear arrow through your head or make ballon animals btw, I played last Sunday for an ordination at my church and for the last hymn we sang Come thou fount of every blessing(Nettleton) with a friend of the ordinand playing banjo. Of course we also had an hispanic hymn, contemporary praise song, Carribean communion hymn(keyboard setting was steel drums), Celtic Alleluia, and traditional hymnody on organ.
